Very clean cute cottage! Perfect for us!
Nice quiet place
House was reasonably clean, but shower curtains were covered in orange mold. Management company was very responsive and had them replaced. House advertised a gas grill in the listing, but only had a charcoal grill. One bedroom had no storage at all - the closet was zip tied locked. Items left in bathroom drawers included hair brush and nail clippers. Lots of other items in house (not sure if they were the owner’s or previous guests), jackets in closet, bags of stuff in master closet. Outside was nice. Kitchen was nice and well stocked. Beds comfy.
Great location just south of Fish Creek, easy to locate off Hwy 42. Private, wooded lot where we enjoyed bird watching and bon fires. Nicely furnished and decorated living room open to kitchen for communal meals and hang-outs. Would definitely return!
It was a perfect place to enjoy a reunion of friends and we had a wonderful time there. Positive: Just a mile from Fish Creek town center, it was convenient to all the activities and eating spots in the upper Door. We enjoyed a few breakfasts and dinners at area restaurants. There are so many to choose from! Negative: We weren't able to get the tv/movies to work but there were plenty of other ways to spend our time. Appreciated the game boxes in the closet.
Great and easy stay!
Very neat, clean and updated home in the middle of Door County woods. Just a few minutes drive to Fish Creek. The host was very responsive.
Location of the house was great! Close to two different towns but not walkable to anything. It needs a little TLC - felt very worn in terms of the bathrooms, walls.
My family greatly enjoyed our stay at this charming house! It was beautifully nestled in trees. I recommend bringing a good bug repellant for enjoying the picnic table or fire pit. Really, the entire Door County area was fairly buggy. We were not able to get the Roku TV to work, but thankfully we were able to cast from a laptop. If you’re picky about your shampoo and conditioner, like my daughters are, you may want to bring your own.
Cottage was nice and clean. We booked at the last minute and paid more than we wanted, but this home was in a great location with everything we needed.
Just as described We were checking out Plays at different theaters in the area and needed a place that could be our base for meals and relaxing. This cabin is just as described and really had everything we needed! Loved the ease of access too!
Beautiful Home! Cozy updated beautiful home! Super clean! Fresh new great quality linens! We made breakfast every morning and had a bonfire outside. Plenty of seating and s’more sticks available. WiFi was spotty at times but you’re in the north woods! (My friend had to go into town to work online a couple hours.) We went to The Ridges while she worked! Great stay! We will be back and hopefully lucky enough to stay in The Blue House again!
