Cute and cozy, tons of beds and space for our two families with 4 kids!

Beautiful home in government camp. Lots and lots of beds, mostly twin beds and 3 Queens. The Main bedroom with bathroom is on the main floor. The two other queens are up the stairs. The one to the pest has a door and the one to the right has a door but then there are 6 twin beds beyond it - so if the kids wake up that might not be the bed to choose. There’s also a game room back that way. The bathrooms are all on the bottom floor so make sure the kids don’t drink too much before bed or depending on age you might need to wake up and escort them to the bathroom. The living room fire place is very nice. There’s one on the dining room too that we didn’t use. Large space - a bit like a labyrinth but fun. Two minute walk to Govy General (grocery store) and restaurants. 5 min walk upward to one trail. Lots of trails nearby. Skibowl West has a level 3 fast charger for EV users. They also had helpful add-ons like coffee, etc. Definitely recommend the place.

Quite possibly the coziest house we have ever stayed in and only a block from the general store and the restaurants. Kids loved it and we couldn't get enough of reading books there (even though we brought our own I mowed through their copy of The Odessa File). Yes, it's not isolated but seemingly no house in Gov't Camp is. We were there five nights and the street couldn't have been quieter. Can't recommend this house highly enough. Ignore the bit about the having fires in the house to heat it. There is adequate heating that doesn't involve flames.

This home is comfortable, warm, and full of history. The fireplace is wonderful, and the large selection of games and the multi-game table provided lots of fun. There was even a Christmas tree and some decorations that enhanced our Christmas week stay. The three full bathrooms are only on the first floor, but it wasn’t that big of a deal for our kids in their 20’s. Cascadia Getaways has excellent communication. We would definitely rent this again.

I have always wanted to have a game weekend at a cabin in the snow, and I could not have asked for a better place to do it! My friends and I had a blast in this cabin. It was so unique and cozy, and I loved the information about the history of the space. It was walking distance to town and the tubing area, which made it possible to just park our cars and not move them the rest of the time! Cascadia Getaways was also extremely responsive and helpful. I hope I get to stay again someday!

Incredible location and lodging. Plenty of room for a large group. Tons of snowshoeing/hiking and exploring to do all within walking distance. Everything was smooth and delightful about our stay. Communication was clear and helpful. We would (hopefully, will) stay again!

Lots of beds, close to restaurants and stores, very cozy.

A cozy cabin with everything you need. Even booking an hour before check-in, everything went smoothly and the place was warm and bright for our arrival. Location was also great. It’s an older, quirky, a bit cluttered house, but so is the town. If you want a modern spacious home, this isn’t the one for you.

This cabin was a sweet hidden gem just a few steps away from the main drag! There are lots of surprises with the room set up and the upstairs keeps going on and on. Keep in mind- there are many beds on the second floor but all bathrooms are on the first floor. Cascadia was easy to communicate with and had a very fast response time.
