Stephanie was a pleasure to host! The house was very nice and the furnishings were too. There was no ice available from the icemaker and no ice trays. The pool was very dirty in Spite of the pool guy coming out once. I suspect the filtration wasn’t working. We only got to use it for a couple of hours. Please verify this has been fixed before renting this home.

Brianna was a pleasure to host! The home itself is beautiful, and has incredible bay views. However, our overall experience was disappointing, especially considering we paid nearly $7,000 for a 4-night stay. The biggest issue was the lack of communication. When we arrived, the garage was accessible, so we parked one of our vehicles there. Two days later, on the Fourth of July, the owners’ golf cart was dropped off (with no communication of this) and once we reached out, we were told we had to move our vehicles out of the garage to make room for it. This left our group with inadequate parking, and one of our vehicles received a $200 parking ticket because there simply wasn’t enough room for four vehicles. If you’re bringing anything larger than compact cars, expect to fit only two vehicles comfortably. The views are beautiful, but the beach behind the home is bayfront, not the Gulf, and is public so was very crowded. Overall, we expected much better communication and accommodations for the price we paid.

Megan was a pleasure to host Great experience! You don’t have much privacy as it’s right on the main drag and there is construction going on next to it but other than that it’s a great place to stay! Great amenities. Clean. Easy walk right to the beach and to a great area of AMI.

Jennie was a pleasure to host! It was a beautiful home with a spectacular view!!!! We truly enjoyed our stay - the location was perfect! Peaceful and quiet - Right across the street from Bayfront beach and within convenient walking distance to Bean Point which was by far the most beautiful beach on AMI - in our opinion. The beds were the most comfortable we’ve ever experienced at an Airbnb to date - the home was spacious and extremely well stocked with utensils/pots/pans for all of our cooking needs. The swimming pool was clean and there were ample supplies for a fun day at the beach! We would definitely love to stay here again in the future! We enjoyed every moment of our stay here.

Mary was a pleasure to host! We absolutely loved our accommodations at Bay Happy!! We were 5 women enjoying a ladies weekend and felt right at home. Everything was perfect upon our arrival, and the views were amazing. We were literally steps away from the Bay side beach area and only a 10 min walk to the Gulf side - you could put your beach chairs close to The Sandbar restaurant where we enjoyed a celebratory cocktail. We also used the beautiful pool area every day which had ample seating and a nice covered area. We cooked most days and had plenty of space in the kitchen along with a good selection of kitchen equipment and appliances. We brought pool towels and games, but upon arrival we saw the house provided plenty of pool towels and had a good selection of games. All in all, we had a great time and would highly recommend. Looking forward to our next visit!!

It's located right across the street from a bay front park with the skyway bridge visible in the background. Truly a dream location and worth every penny.

It was a pleasure hosting Erin! We hope to host them in the future! The house itself and the location were fantastic. The pictures were accurate and and overall we were pleased with the accommodations. However, we felt like the management company negatively impacted our first impressions. For example, upon check in we found the front sliding doors that face the street unlocked and there were cans and trash around the pool area and deck. When I responded to the check in messages to let them know, I was told I needed to contact a different number. Later in the week, the next renters arranged for a golf cart and that company dropped it off early, letting themselves into the backyard to plug things in etc. We weren’t pleased about that. I think we had higher expectations for customer service with the amount we were paying, but again the house itself was great!

Lisa was a pleasure to host! Home was beautiful. The kitchen had all essentials needed for the times we are in. Great location. Was great to have the po for the kids. The one disappointment was there was no ping pong table or fuse ball table as notated in the pics- the kids were looking forward to that as well.

Tiffany was a pleasure! The house was very beautiful and well taken care of. It had everything and we truly didn’t need anything. The pool area was very nice and we also enjoyed the front porch overlooking the ocean!! Having a grill and outdoor TV was also a plus. We had a little problem with the air not being set low enough durning the day for 2 menopausal women( if you know, you know ) and I reach out and it was taken care of immediately. It definitely stayed very cool after that and made our stay more comfortable. We had a fantastic spring break and were very pleased with the house!!

Thank you for letting us stay at your property. We had a wonderful two weeks and would stay again. The view of the water is really nice. It was loud though with non-stop construction (no fault of the rental owners!) and groundskeeping at the park across the street. As mentioned in prior review, initial code provided to us didn’t work. Fortunately agency responded quickly and provided a different access code. The unit is decorated nicely. I wouldn’t say it’s a warm/inviting place, but the decor is nicely done. There were a lot of missing essential items (spatulas, oven mitts, small plates, sufficient spoons, and more), but 5 stars to rental agency which brought us all new items on a Sunday!! The bedrooms, baths, beds were all great! No hooks to hang towels in some bathrooms. Areas where a few things still needed from recent remodeling - like the final walkthrough and/or fixes haven’t been done. Biggest issue why we didn’t give it 5 stars is that we never had a functioning clothes washer, and we were there for 2 weeks! The agency’s repair person came and tried and needed to have someone come from vendor. That never happened. I asked the company to pick up our clothes to wash but they didn’t respond. I hope they have it fixed for future renters. Overall a nice place.

Bay Happy was a wonderful home base for our first visit to AMI. Fantastic, proactive communication from AMI Locals. Alerted before our stay that there would be a required city inspection of the house our first morning. Also checked in with us when homeowner's contractor needed to deliver supplies to garage. Checked in to be sure we'd arrived and all was well. The first door code didnt work, but was resolved within minutes via phone call. Clear and thorough check out instructions. The home is tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable. Exactly as shown in pictures. All beds were declared to be "very comfortable." Back yard is private, pool temp pleasant. Easy walks to Pine, the piers, Bean Point; our group enjoys walking 2-3 miles at a time, several times a day. Short drives to other beaches, e.g., Manatee and Coquina. Only a park across the street between home and the Bay. Balconies/decks are great for group visiting, or solitude. Quiet neighborhood, not much traffic. Customer service top notch at shops and restaurants. Minor suggestions would be to add hangers if possible...only the main bedroom had hangers which we divied up to other closets. And, several of us wished for a full length mirror. We enjoyed this home and would not hesitate to book again. Overall great experience.

I would love to say I enjoyed my stay but unfortunately due to hurricane Idal that was not the case. The house and area was beautiful and check in was easy, however, we weren’t even there for 24 hrs before mandatory evacuation. I did not buy the insurance since I booked this in January and did not think about a hurricane. So whatever you do BUY the insurance not matter what. I was hoping since it was a MANDATORY evacuation that AMI would work with us maybe book us for next year or give us 50% off for next year but they will NOT work with you and will only say you should have bought the insurance. So please be aware if you book with AMI
