My family had a great 10 day stay! Felt right at home and really got to relax and enjoy the peaceful pool/hot tub! Highly recommended!
This is a beautiful small house . . . a real architectural gem, with its sunken main floor living and bedrooms on the wings. The hot tub is right out the sliding door from the dining area and guest bedroom, so it's smoothly reached in all weather, and the back patio and yard are a lovely private space. You're just off the peninsula from Southampton but it is easy to go to town without getting on Route 27, so you get the Hamptons lifestyle without the insane prices. Great value for a couple, a small family, or two couples who are close-knit.
We enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and comfortable. We appreciate the flexibility of the check out time ( we ask to 1 hour late check out and positively had a yes response) . The house is 20 min drive from South Hampton and it was a bit hard for us to drive back and forth with a baby. In summary, we like our stay and the house is recommended.
This divine spot was a haven of nature and delightful moments spent sitting in and around the gorgeously designed and furnished countryside modern & uber comfortable beach cottage…. We loved the bikes too!
I HIGHLY recommend Red Cottage as a rental agency, but not this particular house. HOUSE: modern, cute minimalist vibe. BUT there were significant issues: ant infestation in the bathroom; rugs dirty with food gunk adhered to them; closets packed with the owners' stuff, even muddy boots; filthy kitchen supplies...grease-covered pots/pans, flakes of teflon coming off; tick-infested cushions on the patio furniture. There were also major structural problems: the septic tank backed up and clogged the showers and toilets. The entire ceiling in the second bathroom leaked...water dripping down. RED COTTAGE: The agency was TERRIFIC. They responded quickly to all of the problems with the house and worked with us to arrive at a fair resolution when we checked out early because of the ceiling leak. They checked in regularly to see how things were going and to find solutions when problems arose. The sent repair people in a timely fashion. I would DEFINITELY rent a different house from them again.

Amazing Retreat This house was extremely comfortable and very clean. Was a perfect weekend get a way and we highly recommend it.
An excellent property in a very convenient area. Can enjoy both the north and south fork options when it comes to things to do and amenities, the house in great shape, modernized amenities and a peaceful backyard. Would stay again no questions!
