We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! Absolutely worth it. This was my second time for my birthday celebration. Peaceful with a private beach area behind the unit. No itinerary just relaxing. Wonderful places to eat with in 5 or 10 minute walk. We brought groceries once & ate out most meals. Everything is reasonable and lots of options. People are very friendly and the area is nice, quiet and beautiful. The water views are amazing. The large sea turtle swim right by. This last trip one was rest on the sand when we arrived and made his way back into the water the next morning. We were told not to touch him or get too close & stress him out. He was just resting. I talked about my trip so much my brother and his wife want to celebrate their anniversary their of it’s available.

Rooms are decent. Coffee shop nearby was excellent and happening food trucks nearby in the evening. Overall location and views were worth the price

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! Our stay was AMAZING! The apartment was clean, comfortable, functional and very well located. There are restaurants, coffee shops and groceries stores all around… but the best of all was the view of the beach and sunset. The beach in front is almost your private snorkeling place (multiple turtles and fish). I highly recommend this apartment!

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! Can't say enough good things about this place. Turtles, turtles everywhere. Sleeping on the beach, hanging onto the reef, swimming by everyday. We also were able to see whales jumping from the balcony. The neighborhood is nice and quiet with local shops, food trucks, tons of places to eat. The Airbnb is clean with views from every window. Will absolutely be back! Joshua was also extremely accommodating with last minute trip extensions. 5 star!

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! We had a great stay. The house was clean and well appointed and felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed the private beachfront and watched two turtles come ashore in the late evening. Joshua was always responsive when we had a query.

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! This place was amazing. The views from the balcony during dinner were incredible, and having the beach just steps away was a huge bonus. Our only real complaint is with the laundry facilities. The machines only accept quarters and cost $2.00 to wash and $2.50 to dry. The price itself isn’t the issue, it’s the hassle of needing 36 quarters to wash and dry just two loads of laundry. There’s no change machine on site, and it took us visiting six different stores to gather enough quarters. Updating the machines to accept cards or cash would make a big difference. We also noticed a couple of minor issues: the towel holders in the bathroom weren’t properly secured with wall anchors and kept wanting to fall off the wall, and the remote control for the master bedroom ceiling fan wasn’t working. None of these were deal-breakers, and I would happily stay here again. (Though I might get flagged by TSA next time for trying to bring a bucket of quarters through security!)

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! Me and my husband along with our 2 daughters had a fabulous stay at this location. Very quiet accessible clean it was a true home away from home. We loved sleeping with the windows open and listening to the ocean and enjoying sunsets right on our balcony. We were able to swim with the turtles right there as well or catch a tan in the backyard.

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! This condo is in a great location right on the water. We sat on the balcony eating dinner or just embracing the beautiful ocean and sunset. You also have a private access to the water and a small beach with all amenities including outside shower. We watched whales jumping out of the water from afar. Incredible place.

What a beautiful view of the ocean right outside of the balcony and waking up every morning to the sound of the ocean waves. We were even lucky enough to see whales breaching in the distance! A GEM of a place! Would definitely recommend to anyone and would not hesitate to stay at this location again in the future.

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! Location by the water was great! Loved having AC and was always cool. However we had some issues with bugs, particularly ants. There were ants in the kitchen and bathrooms as well as in the loft upstairs. Also found some clothes from the previous vacationers. We also had issues with the keypad on the door not working and had to use an emergency key. Overall it’s was okay but I wouldn’t stay here again just due to the bugs.

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! This place was a hidden gem! The ocean view was amazing. The place was perfect and roomy-the loft area upstairs was very cozy. There are food places that we walked to, and there is a beach/park right down the street. There are beach chairs and water items provided, as well as coolers if needed. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! We visited and stayed for 4 nights during our honeymoon. Great location, although I don’t realize you don’t have direct beach access. Although you are on the water, you cannot access the water from the unit and the water is too rough to swim in most of the day (totally not the hosts problem but good to note if you are booking thinking it will be water front for convenience).

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! A comfortable place giving a beautiful view of the ocean. The patio was the Ideal place to enjoy the sunset. Often spotted a turtle in the waters from our patio. Many people were snorkling in the ocean just behind the complex. Food trucks was at walkable distance. The place provided abundant towels and a very well equipped clean kitchen

If you embrace “Old Hawaii” architecture with only three stories or less buildings, balcony overlooking the ocean, just steps away for small beach access, small lawn for relaxing in front of ocean, private parking; say no more, you are exactly where you were meant to be!! Wowie Maui!!😍 Beautiful furnishings, air conditioning and spectacular sunrises and sunsets! Great location to many West Maui beaches and restaurants. Thank you for sharing a slice of paradise!🌈🌺😊

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! We enjoyed a restful 3 days at Pikake. There was plenty of room for 4 adults (2 couples). The condo was stocked with everything we needed & more - from kitchen supplies to things for the beach. The beds were very comfortable. The location was great - close enough to Kanapoli to go for dinner and shopping but away from the crowds. We enjoyed relaxing on the beach chairs on the lawn & it was just steps away to go into the ocean to swim, boogy board or snorkel. Our host was very responsive & gave us all the information to make our stay the best possible. We hope to be back someday!

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! The pictures don’t do this place justice. The water view. The private beach area was so peaceful, serene and beautiful. The ombre of colors the water had, the mountains in the back ground. The sunsets were breathtaking. The local restaurants options were great. We had a rental car but walked the area most of our stay. The host thought of everything- the crib for my grandson, games to play( sequence) never heard of it but we loved it. I am always apprehensive about AirBnb’s because you never know. This place surpassed my expectations. A quiet little slice of heaven. It was my birthday and it was the best birthday in the last 15+ years. Thank you.

Firstly the position and the view over the water were incredible, walkable to shops etc Snorkelling from in front of the unit was very good The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well set up for cooking. Unit is a little tired but functioned well

For personal health reasons, this year we canceled the Galapagos and came to Maui. Wow! Consistent with the other reviews, this magical spot is nestled in spectacular beauty and peace. Yes, you wake and fall asleep to the sounds of waves crashing on our bay rocks. Yes, you can (and we did) enjoy every breakfast and every sunset from our lanai. Yes, turtles are in our bay and occasionally land on the little beach. The condo is perfectly appointed with an abundance of cooking equipment, games we enjoyed every night, beach towels, and so much more. Excellent information and instructions are clearly printed on a single sheet conveniently located on the fridge door. An ice maker. Ceiling fans everywhere and mini-splits for AC in each bedroom. THANK YOU for exceeding our high expectations. We'll be back!

The view and the easy access to the ocean and beach is 👌 This place is centrally located near restaurants, etc. I may have missed in the description but this is a 2nd floor unit and has decent set of stairs to get up to it. This is not a ground floor unit and does not have direct access to the beach . You have to go downstairs and around the building to access the secured side gate to get to beach. Laundry is not in unit. Make sure you bring quarters! It's about $3.50/ load and no change machine. Local stores reluctant to give change so best to bring ahead. The inside is as pictured and has extras like beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler, etc for use! The beds were decent but had to message for any linens and sofabed, etc. Had a minor AC situation on way out but host was very responsive. Inside could use a deep clean (some staining on the sofa, grime in corner of floor, etc) but overall acceptable and would rent again! Great location! ⛱️ 👌

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! Breathtaking oceanfront view! The sunset was amazing, soft sand beach with calm waves - one of the best stays in Maui we ever had. Super friendly host with quick response. We were sad to leave since we only stayed for one night. Will definitely be back!

Make sure you bring shampoo and conditioner if you are staying longer or have longer hair - there was a small hotel sized one only :)

Nice beach (with boogie boards, chairs and umbrellas to use), lots of turtles and whales to watch, and close proximity to restaurants and shops. The condo was exactly as described. We did use the laundry facilities (need quarters…we didn’t know that, though I do see there was at least one reviewer that mentioned it). This is a great value stay in my opinion - we will be back!
