The house is beautiful, clean and very well equipped with everything you need for a family vacation. There’s a lot to do around the area, including beautiful places for hiking.

Not really a place for young kids. Several inappropriate ‘art’ that wasn’t seen or noticed when reviewing pics prior to booking. The stove/oven quit working Thursday morning. They ordered a hot plate to be delivered Friday afternoon. However, cooking on the 6” burner was challenging. Just frustrating as there was 5 staying at the house plus we invited friends to visit for dinner.

We had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful and well Stocked with everything you need to relax and chill out. The snow was just what we wanted to get cozy and spend some time as a family after a hectic year. Can’t wait to come back in warmer weather to use the deck, the fire pit, and stargaze! Thank you for giving our family a much needed break. Loved everything about this house!

My wife, our two small children and our 15-yr old dog stayed at the cabin and had a great time. We loved all the art and decoration that made it feel like someone's actual home (instead of the "Ikea experience" you sometimes find). The kitchen was actually usable, and we felt very comfortable. Loved how clean everything was.

We were looking for a peaceful getaway to reset and spend time together as a family and this retreat provided the perfect setting. An arresting and cozy interior, with plenty of conversation pieces and comfortable places to relax, have an outdoor fire, read, watch movies and even a yoga/peloton studio. A three minute drive took us to a beautiful hike in the Catskills. The beds were clean and comfortable and the whole place was super clean - terrific, given that they graciously allow pets. And the host was very responsive whenever we had questions. We hope to come back!

This was our second stay at Artist’s Edge, we love this place! There is now an iPad in the kitchen that can play music and change lighting throughout the house, such a fun addition! We also fully utilized and appreciated the well stocked kitchen this trip by doing much more cooking ‘at home’ which was so fun! Perfect space for a productive and fun time with friends!

Beautifully and eclectically decorated home with tons of books and objects to pique your interest. My friends and I had a delightful time during our short weekend getaway. The kitchen was fully equipped with amenities for us to cook meals together and the perfect dining area for us to gather and converse around. The numerous windows will allow you to wake up to a sun filled home every morning. A perfect spot and location for family and friends to getaway and recharge.

The quintessential spot for an amazing, artsy, femme weekend! Had the most perfect bestie getaway here- Every inch of this place was a joy to check out; so much attention to detail. Everything there is so cute and cool. The space was so perfect for everything from baking in the full kitchen, lounging on the couch and floor pillows to watch YouTube and Netflix (lovingly provided!) on the massive TV, or buckling down to spend hours working on art and writing goals. Great hiking and easy food and grocery nearby, simple to find and get to. Perfect for work and play! My only complaint is that I wish we had booked it for longer ;)

We LOVED our stay here. The space is so well designed with a perfect blend of peaceful, cozy and funky. Large space, tons of amenities and just remote enough to fill the wooded escape goal. It was everything we needed for a quiet girl’s weekend and we’d rebook in a heartbeat!

I stayed with a friend while we were working in the area. We really enjoyed the space. We cooked a lot and enjoyed the kitchen and using the new grill on the deck. The surroundings are really pretty and private and it’s so quiet. We’ve decided we’d like to come back sometime when we don’t have to work.

Our stay was great! The place was exactly as described. The kitchen had everything we needed, we were even able to cook an entire Thanksgiving meal. The host and Red Cottage were very responsive. It was a perfect place for a weekend getaway.

Beautiful space, quiet, and the house had many areas to lounge in. I enjoyed the well stocked kitchen because we cooked every meal in the house for four days. The pup had a great time too. Close by many great hiking trails.

A truly lovely vacation home. Everything was designed, furnished, and decorated with the care given to a treasured home, not a cookie cutter rental. Great bookshelf (and cookbook selection) and one of the best stocked kitchens I've ever seen in an Airbnb. An absolutely ideal home base for exploring the Shawangunks or Minnewaska!

This is an eclectic experience. Not average design. EVERY corner and crevice has some interesting details. So much to ohh and ahh over. In addition, space was clean and had many amenities. Perfect for my rather avant-garde Mom's 75th birthday celebration.

Beautifully decorated. Great support from the host and my 2 year old saw a hummingbird for the first time!!

Super cool place decorated with great photography artwork. Plenty of kitchen accessories. We also took advantage of the outdoor gas grill. Host was easy to communicate with.

Fantastic place in a fantastic location. Only issue we had was with some damp on the ground floor which caused a nasty smell. Agent was very responsive and they said that the owner will look into it.

Beautifully decorated little cottage in the “woods”. Everything was thoughtfully laid out. The house is a little old and creaky but it adds to the charm.

Great house - fun, artsy vibe. I could not figure out how to get basic TV or Netflix for the life of me, but maybe I'm just technically challenged. A primer in the house instructions would be awesome. Thanks for hosting us!
