Beautiful location, we were very happy and had a lovely family vacation overall. However, I would recommend installing curtains in the upstairs bedroom and the bedroom with the single bed on the first floor. This is all an easy fix we made it work and overall our stay was lovely. We enjoyed it and we would go again.

We had a great stay at the red cottage! The home is beautiful as described in photos. Also in a nice distance from multiple ski resorts. One thing to note. Even though there have been many commentators back for over six months, saying the same thing. There are no curtains on any of the windows in the bedrooms. In the main bedroom and in the bedrooms downstairs, so plan to bring something to cover the windows if you would like to sleep past 6 AM. However, the main bedroom is actually a loft which is open to the entire living room room, which is a wall of Windows. Wow this is beautiful, it is not necessarily the most practical for sleeping purposes or sharing a house purpose All of this to say, we had an amazing time at the house. Everything is in good working order and is described and looks like the pictures. My only note is about the curtains on the windows, which would be important to note.

We LOVED it! We stayed as a group of 5 friends who haven’t had a chance to do a trip in ages - it was the perfect cozy cabin home we needed. The listing was accurate, and had all of what we expected. We thoroughly enjoyed making a fire pit outside, and the sauna pool table insjde! Highly recommend

As advertised and then some. Lovely views, comfortable bedding, perfect for couples, or families.

Pros: The "Alpine View" cottage in Prattsville is beautiful, spacious, peaceful, and perfect for a group of eight. Its large windows offer great views, and the setting feels both private and serene. The ample parking was convenient, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Those of us who enjoy cooking had no trouble preparing all our meals. The large dining table easily accommodated all eight of us, and the deck was a highlight—beautifully equipped an Cons Two of the three bathrooms had stained sinks and tubs with hair, and one towel was soaked and very badly stained. They offered to try to send a cleaning crew during our stay, but we declined for privacy purposes. We had to clean it ourselves. Most towels smelled unpleasant, so we had to wash them ourselves. ANd one bathroom lacked shower gel and shampoo. Also, there were no curtains in any of the bedrooms except the basement—just empty rods—making it hard to sleep past 6 a.m.

Such a lovely and cozy cottage, spacious, clean, stocked ! Beautiful, peaceful surroundings and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily come back!

This was place was beautiful! We all had such a great time in nature, our host recommended some hiking spots, which was so helpful! I definitely recommend this place! They were easy to communicate with and replied fast if we had any questions!

The house was very nice and as pictured however, the sheets in the bed downstairs were not clean and beds were quite uncomfortable. Upon arrival, the hot tub ph and chlorine was off so we couldn’t even use it after reaching out. The grill was also not able to be used because it was dirty and there was no scraper to clean it off. We were excited to use both amenities and were really disappointed that we were unable to utilize them. There was plenty of seating and space for 8 of us to enjoy. Many games, tv streaming, and spacious and well stocked kitchen. The espresso machine was a great addition as well as firewood available for the pit outside! A few more chairs for the fire pit would have been nice. The host was very communicative and kind from beginning to end but unfortunately wasn’t able to fix most issues we had during our stay such as cleanliness and hot tub issues. A beautiful home with beautiful scenery, but there were a few notable inconveniences.

Great spot to stay with a good group! Whether it’s cold and rainy or warm and sunny. Took a second to get used to the sulfurous smell in the bathroom but plenty of candles are provided! Really loved our time in this sweet home.

We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the location, the beautiful views from the deck and lounging in the various common spaces. Everything was clean and well maintained for our stay. We wished they had some lights on the hot tub side of the deck, and a few more towels, but those are minor details from an otherwise lovely trip. We would definitely come back and stay again.

Great spot for a winter weekend away! Would say a winter-equipped car is needed to get up the road - especially with snow on the ground. Hosts were super responsive and helpful when we had a hard time with one of our cars.

It was a very cozy cabin, exactly as described :) the space was very clean, and the host was very responsive and helpful whenever we needed to reach them. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would 100% come back again!
