After spending our day at the mountain, we were ecstatic to spend the night at Cascadia Getaway’s A-Home ! It was beyond what we were expecting, such an enjoyable place and adventure. Definitely will recommend for future travelers to come visit this location. The hot tub was excellent and effective communication from the host was incredible. Recommending every time we go up to the mountain! Thank you so much for the peaceful, warm, and unwinding experience.
Enjoy the place great outdoors
We loved our time at the A-frame. This was the perfect location for us to explore Mt Hood and the surrounding locations for a few days. This place will definitely be on the list of places to stay if we are able to come back to Mt Hood someday.
We had a great stay at this cozy cabin! It was beautiful, clean and in a private location. We loved the outdoor space with the hot tub on the deck and fire pit. Perfect for a quiet family getaway!
Wonderful stay for our small family. The layout was thoughtfully designed so although there were neighbors close by, we never saw them because all windows pointed to empty outdoor space. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fully stocked kitchen. I docked 1 star because there’s some strong mold growing in the laundry washer that should be addressed.
Great place, very glad I chose after researching the area. The hot tub was great after spending most of the day hiking. You can hear a nearby creek and stargaze on a clear night, very cool. Fully stocked, didn’t have to purchase things like detergent. Cozy couch and beds.
The house was great! Two bedrooms upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. The kitchen was very well stocked and everything was clean and usable. The beds were super comfortable and the sheets were soft. Plenty of outside towels for the amazing hot tub. The mini splits in each room make the house the perfect temperature. The house is relaxing and near amazing hikes as well as close enough to restaurants, coffee, and the grocery store. Beautiful night sky from The hot tub and deck. Great stay- thanks!
Absolutely lovely time was had here celebrating my partner's birthday and decompressing. The house was lovely and cozy, with comfortable beds and lots of space to hang out outside. Felt nice and secluded even with neighbors behind the A frame. Can't imagine what a great place it'd be for the summer. 10/10 for the hot tub as well, we definitely spent a lot of time relaxing under the stars.
Can’t give the place enough praise— our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Check-in was easy and welcoming: All of the directions and instructions were very helpful and we arrived to find the home heated, with the “fireplace”on (the TV screen)— a very nice touch. We immediately felt the cozy embrace of this little A-frame and settled in, finding everything we needed. We loved the beautiful nature surrounding us, the fully stocked kitchen and comfy beds, s’mores in the fire pit, comfy living room for movie nights, family dinners and games in the dining area, and the best was relaxing in the hot tub after a day of snow play! Thank you for this relaxing and restorative getaway. We will definitely come back whenever we can get away.

We stayed in a charming A-frame cabin with a perfectly heated hot tub. Unfortunately, we accidentally left some items behind, but the owner was incredibly prompt in shipping them to us!

A Frame of Mind is a beautiful, peaceful home where you can relax have a glass of wine or cider and sit in the hot tub and look up at the stars and breathe some wonderful fresh air. The kitchen was exactly what we needed. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. The team was so kind and their communication and just as prompt. I cannot wait to come back.

Such a beautiful getaway! The pictures don’t do justice of how pretty it is, I loved the interior it’s extremely cozy and the hosts were very nice and gave us clear instructions.
We have stayed here a couple of times, it’s always clean and cozy! The outside area is very roomy and feels private. The host is always very responsive and accommodating. We will stay here again!

I am afraid rating this so high will make it harder to book next time. But I can't lie! Lovely place, lovely hot tub, great kitchen... Not a single negative word.
This place was a great place to stay. It was clean, well-supplied and very comfortable. The proximity to the river was nice. We were able to open the windows and hear the river. The hot tub was immaculate too.
Awesome spot, friendly host and very flexible with my travel times/ arrival. Would stay here again when I’m in the area!

The kitchen and bathroom were clean and well-equipped, but we had an issue with the shower, the water wouldn’t drain. We called, and someone came very fast to fix it, but honestly, it was kind of a bummer. The furniture is older and dirtier than what you see in the pictures, and the bedsheets were the same. one of the rooms didn’t even seem to have clean sheets, so we had to use the ones we’d brought just in case. There are no hangers, coat racks, mirrors, or even a clock in the rooms. The hot tub was great, but keep in mind it’s not covered, we ended up using it in the rain!
I had such a relaxing time here! The hosts are super responsive and helpful. They even extended my check out time. Definitely staying here again.
What to say? The house is very nice. Has a hot tub and a gas grill. nice kitchen. comfortable beds. The fire pit was off limits due to burn ban (not their fault, but would have been good to know) . No closets and the dressers are full of bedding. Thus, no place to put your clothes. If you like living out of your suitcase, I guess it works. Needs clearer directions. Mapping apps leaves you on the main road, when the house is at the end of a side road that does not show clearly in the map. Rudimentary directions to get the final 1/4 of a mile is needed. The biggest complaint is that the fire alarms went off at 5 am, 5:10 am and then 7 am. When I called to inform them, they said no one can get there at that hour and you are leaving by 10 anyways. There was no compassion and no follow-up from the rental company to see if we were alright. I held off on this review for several days, thinking maybe they would reach out. But, no one did. I WILL NOT RENT HERE AGAIN!

The location was good, we enjoyed our stay and its amenities.
The home is beautiful and the backyard is very peaceful. The hot tub was the cherry on top! We will be coming back!
