We had a wonderful stay! The house was excellent, with all the amenities needed for both kids and adults. It was the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing getaway with family. Michael was an amazing host—very friendly, welcoming, and responsive throughout our stay. One of the highlights of our trip was a bear visiting the property! All the kids were incredibly excited, and it made our stay even more memorable. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable family getaway!

Our stay at Michael's home in Asheville was fantastic. It was just the type of place we were looking for to celebrate a friend's bachelor trip. The space was so nice and accommodating that it easily could have been great as well for a large family gathering or other event. Everything that Michael said the space had it did and we enjoyed all the amenities. The theater room and the space downstairs with golf simulator were certainly our favorite spots and there was still the upstairs gym, the hot tubs, the sauna, and multiple outdoor areas for sitting and congregating. I would recommend this spot to anyone staying in Asheville and would also stay here again.

The house is great for a large group of people. We had adults and kids of all ages. Unfortunately the hot tubs and sauna didn’t work during our stay which bummed our crew out. The hosts tried to remedy it but unfortunately it wasn’t able to be fixed by the time we left. The game room and theater room were a hit and the kitchen layout is great.

Great house and property, especially for hosting large families and groups. This house had entertainment galore and bathrooms were very well stocked. We were unable to enjoy the outside spaces to the full extent due to bear activity (Momma bear with cubs) that were present around the house every day and not shy to help themselves to the BBQ grille, or walk around the decks. I suppose this comes with the territory, but wasn't something we had considered prior to visiting. It still made for a fun and unique experience. From the photos, we did expect a little more attention to maintenance, including the kitchen cabinets and drawers, which were a little rough. The pots and pans were not the best for cooking, and the house could benefit from updated cookware. A little more attention to the outside spaces, including cleaning up old spider webs from light fixtures and doorways would be appreciated. Overall, we had a great time, enjoyed the property, and would come back. Thumbs up!

Such a cool house and perfect for a larger group visiting Asheville! The house had everything we needed, plenty of space, and made for a really comfortable stay. The hosts were responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout the trip. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again!

Our family of 8 adults and 7 kids travel to a new location every year for our annual vacation. We were intrigued by this property, and it did not disappoint. The It was the perfect size for a family of 15 and Asheville as a city definitely punches above its weight. The property was high up in the hills giving us beautiful vistas in every direction. The property was also large enough to give everyone some space and make it comfortable for everyone. We used the home theatre on multiple occasions. The games and amenities gave our grandchildren (ages 11 to 18) things to do in off times. The dining room was perfect for our gang of 15. In the 12 years of previous trips, we have never been able to all eat together. The kitchen area was large with two large refrigerators and one large freezer. Accommodated a lot of food and made it easy for everyone. Overall, everyone had a great time. Would recommend this property highly

This was easily one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in probably ever! Every level had something fun and me and all my closest buddies just had the time of our lives. Even when we went out to eat or out to have drinks we were eager to come back to the cabin and just enjoy our time there. Would 1000% recommend this to anyone and everyone! Thank you for having us! One for the books!

Second time at this property. Always appreciate the amount of space to explore in this house. Every floor has something else whether it’s gaming, working out, cooking, movies, or quite spot to pick up a book. Perched up on the mountain side above town and when you sit outside you don’t have to listen to cars and semis rolling past. Great time.

The home is absolutely humongous and has lots of wonderful seating areas for a big crowd, as well as fun activities for everyone of every age! We stayed with our children, their spouses and our grandchildren and it was wonderful. Michael is very responsive if you need anything!

This place was absolutely incredible. The thought of everything, stuff for the babies, young adults and us grown ups. The house was well laid out and very modern. I loved the gym and sauna. I think the sunroof and outdoor eating area was my favorite. Michael was always quick to respond to my questions and super friendly. If you are looking for a relaxing and luxurious home in the mountains that isn't far from civilization this is spot.

We had a fantastic stay! Watching the World Cups games in the movie theater on the big screen, using the golf simulator and jacuzzis on the lower level, and the firepit was a big hit at night. The expansive deck was used in the morning to drink coffee and watch the wildlife - even spotted a bear who became our mascot for the trip. We were disappointed the cold plunge and ice maker was inoperable, but the massage chairs on the upper level more than made up for that. A trip to remember!!

This home was fantastic. We hosted a big reunion and had a fantastic time. It's a big home, so figuring out some of the utilities etc. at the beginning took a second but location is perfect, Michael was a great communicator, and we had a great stay.

Easy check-in, very responsive, looked like the photos, and Ubers were able to get to the place even though remote.

This place was perfect for a group of friends to enjoy a weekend in Asheville. Everything a modern man would want in a house is within. it was hard to leave for our activities and p to and downtown because of how much there was to do at the house. Would definitely stay again.

It was a great house with lots to offer and a great view. However with so many amenities leaves the opportunity for them to break and several things were not working during our stay. No one showed up to try to fix anything until the last day of our stay. The road to get to the house was extremely narrow which made it pretty unnerving driving back from dinner a couple of nights. Definitely a better place to plan dinners in. Great for kids with all of the games

Perfect place for family and friends. Lots to do inside the house. We didn’t want to leave and canceled a few reservations. Bbq was clean and looked new. A couple of great spots nearby for steaks and groceries. Responsive host and everything was very easy. A bit of a funky ride up the hill but the view was worth it. Thank you so much for unforgettable time.

Incredible place to spend the holidays for. We were a group of 11 and had a blast in the space. We experienced some minor issues with some broken cabinets and shower drains (in 3 rooms) not draining efficiently while in use. We were able to manage though! \n\nHighly recommend this space to disconnect and spend a peaceful rest away from the city!

Beautiful home minutes from downtown Asheville. Road to home is paved but single lane, would need 4WD in adverse weather. Clean, tastefully decorated with many fun spaces to enjoy. There were a few items unavailable for use in the home, but great communication with owners. Would stay here again!

We had an amazing stay! The house was huge, beautiful, and had so much to do—we never got bored. It felt perfectly secluded and peaceful, yet was still super convenient to everything we needed. The perfect mix of relaxation and fun. Highly recommend!

Rough road with lots of narrow turns to get the house. Well worth it though. Hosts were a+. Highly recommend for large gatherings.

Beautiful home in the mountains! The amenities were top notch and the hosts are amazing!! We had a crowd participating in the local adult soccer tournament- and coming back to an ice bath and hot tubs, comfy beds and a wonderful kitchen to cook a heart meal in was just what we needed. Will definitely stay again for next year’s tournament!

We had a party of 21, appreciate host accommodating. On the day we arrived into Asheville, this location had a flood situation in the home. Host management company got us relocated to alternate property that costed $4700 less compared to what we paid (we screenshotted price on app). Host was quick to get us situated in alternate (appreciate this). The alternate was serviceable, but lacked the amenities of the original property. We had to work through Airbnb escalations team to get our party’s money back. Host replied slowly once refund came into question, and responded with insufficient refund amount twice even though we could have booked alt property for the lower amount ourselves. The alternate property was fine, served the need but was disappointing for what we paid and expected. We did our part to check out on them, clean up per house rules, and communicated exit. Disappointed in host response and “showing up” with fair price. Recommend booking with caution.

This house was an absolutely perfect place for our family getaway. It had tons of features to entertain everyone, so much so, we cancelled our plans on the one day we were supposed to go out, so we could stay and enjoy the house longer. The bears were an exciting addition, but overall, they didn't bother anyone. Loved everything about it!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The house has so much space which was great for our large group with multiple kids. We never felt cramped. The setting is beautiful (once you get up the steep driveway!), and the house was impeccably decorated and spotless. All the games/activities available in the house were amazing. Great to have kid plates/cups/utensils. The house is a quick drive from town, making it easy for groceries/restaurants/activities. The queen beds were quite comfortable, but the king beds were VERY firm. Bathrobes were a nice touch. There weren’t enough towels for each person in our group to have one, so we had to share which was not ideal. Unfortunately, one of the bathrooms was leaking into the kitchen, rendering it useless for our trip. One of the main reasons we booked this house was so that each family could have their own bathroom. The hosts responded immediately, but I t wasn’t remedied during our stay. Appreciated being able to check in a bit early

Wow! where do I begin. I do a yearly family trip with my kids and we were supposed to go out of the country this year. I'm so glad we decided to stay in NC. Michael and Jill's place is a true nature adventure with everything you need for a family fun time. The movie theater, game room and massage chairs kept us busy the entire time. We left the house only once to visit waterfalls. Other than that, we stayed right there! ☺️ The rooms and bed was super comfortable, the kitchen had everything you need for large families. It was 10 of us. We had a few friendly bear encounters, but they didn't bother us and we didn't bother them..lol. But we would definitely stay here again. Thank you guys!

Great Place!

This is an amazing Airbnb -- and we've stayed at a lot of them in Asheville. There was some confusion on our dates between requesting and booking which led us to needing a hotel the first night (originally was available then suddenly wasn't); that was a bit frustrating (TLDR; we did have a fun time at Grove Park Inn). However, the actual place is amazing --- the Mario Kart was a BIG win for my kids. We'd definitely stay here again. Beds and linens nice. Furnishings, etc. clean. Downsides: we did see several ants around the kitchen but it is spring, and that happens to some degree; the upstairs bathroom attached to the bedroom was very cold as well (not an issue if you are going in summer). Overall - amazing location, great space, book it now!

Exceptional home in the mountains! We really enjoyed our time!

We celebrated my wife’s 75th bday with our kids, grandkids, brother and spouses, 11 of us for 5 days. There wasn’t a moment that all of us weren’t entertained. From themorning workouts in the well appointed gym to evening games and movies. Michael and Jill responded immediately to the few questions we had. Amazing views. Well thought out amenities. Magnificent home. All living and dining areas were comfortable and large enough for all but still with a sense of intimacy. We’d love to come back soon and stay longer.

Michael and Jill are very good hosts! Responsiveness was always timely (within 30-45 mins). Was here for a bachelor party. All amenities were working except upstairs and outside sunken fire pit. All amenities were easy to use and instructions were clear on how to use them. Massage chairs were addicting. Golf sim worked fine. I highly recommend this place as your next destination to the Asheville area with a large group.

Very beautiful home, with everything you need to stay entertained and never want to leave the house. You can DoorDash, so that’s a plus if you did not want to go out constantly for every meal, or just didn’t feel like cooking. Very peaceful. Would stay again.

A great place for a large group to stay. It was located only minutes from Asheville and all of the activities the city has to offer. Make sure you leave enough time to enjoy all the home has to offer!

This house was absolutely perfect for a 12 person golf trip we just took this past weekend. The list of amenities is long and we had fun with all of them. We were there in the summer so took full advantage of the outside deck as well as the fire pit at night. We cooked steaks on the grill and played a lot of ping pong! The house was close to the Omni Grove Park Inn golf course and not to far of a drive to downtown Asheville. Michael and Jill were great hosts and very responsive to our needs during the stay. Would highly recommend the house and them as hosts.

The ultimate cabin. They must have dreamed of being on a bachelor party and made that dream a reality. My only comment/advice is getting UberXL is pretty tough, so have driving accommodations figured out beforehand.

We went with my whole family and everyone had enough space to not be on top of each other and enjoy the games, activities, theater large kitchen and more. We had a great stay. Everyone enjoyed the games. For the more complicated devices there were video tutorials that we easy to access and allowed us to enjoy everything. Beds were very comfortable, and being up in the woods was very relaxing. We have even discussed going back with another group.

Very spacious bedrooms with plenty of rooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds and nice linens. Kitchen is extremely well supplied, with plenty of cooking ware, dishes, and great appliances….one of the best supplied kitchens in all of the Airbnbs we have rented. So many beautiful outdoor decks. And the area/neighborhood is beautiful, quiet and serene. Hosts were easy to communicate with and always responsive. Would highly recommend this home!
