Sweet place Really sweet place. It had everything we needed - except for closets! Zero closets in the place. Otherwise, it was great. Easy walk to the beach, spacious deck, comfy beds except for the bunk room. The solo bed there was tiny, uncomfortable, and really not appropriate for an adult. House was clean, kitchen properly stocked with good counter space. No complaints! Folks at Resort Realty were great.

Great vacation home! We had a wonderful vacation in this charming little cottage. It is nicely furnished with a great kitchen that is well stocked with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. A short walk to the beach access and nice walk to get coffee, baked goods and ice cream. We will definitely stay at Tipsea Turtle again.
Lovely Beach House! This was my husband and I’s first trip to OBX. Not only was it absolutely beautiful, but the house was PERFECT! Comfy beds and pillows, short walk to the beach, and just overall a wonderful house to spend our week in! We definitely recommend this house and the resort realty, the customer service was fantastic! Thank you so much for an amazing stay!
Wonderful house Tipsea Turtle was just perfect! It had all the amenities, was bright, renovated and clean. Our family had the best time.
Perfect Cottage We were pleasantly surprised to see the updates made to the house. We have rented the house often over the past 17 years.That is why we were very surprised to see that the new owners will no longer be accepting pets and we will have to find another pet friendly house for my family to rent. I was ready to rent the house for another 2 week stay, but was upset to see the NO PETS ALLOWED in 2024. Beautiful home, best of luck!
Excellent home The salty dog was exactly what my group needed! The kitchen was stocked, the beds were comfortable, and there was enough space for us to unpack and unwind. The porches were such a nice feature to have, and the walk to the beach was only a few minutes! The owner and Resort Realty staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a great experience!
Salty Dog House was very cozy. Loved the outdoor shower, came in handy after being a the beach. Beds all very nice but sofa was a little uncomfortable but not horrible. Kitchen fully stocked with plenty of dishes to make meals at home.

We Love Salty Dog We have been vacationing in Hatteras for many years and have rented from various realty companies. Resort Realty has by far the BEST housekeeping staff. Our rental is so clean when we get there. Salty Dog was a very well maintained and equipped.
Great location and comfy house! Great beach house! Has both an outside and enclosed deck - Adirondack chairs and rocking chairs. Quiet location and beautiful uncrowded dog friendly beaches.
Great Rental This house was great for our two week family getaway. Plenty of room for our family of five and small dog. The porch always had breeze. The kitchen was stocked much better than other houses we have stayed in. The owners have done a great job of providing the necessities of there rentals. The short walk to the access is also very nice.
