Excellent oceanfront stay in Hatteras at 7913 - Southern Comfort Had a great five night stay at 7913 - Southern Comfort -- right on the beach and convenient to the Ocracoke ferry and area restaurants. The house facilities were great. We enjoyed the southern view of the porch, in particular to watch the sky at night -- stars and satellites. A great venue for a beach vacation --

Southern Comfort We had a fantastic stay at Southern Comfort in Hatteras! The home is perfectly located right on the beach, offering stunning ocean views and incredibly easy beach access, just steps from the back door. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and everyone had a great time. Whether it was morning coffee with a view or evening walks on the sand, the experience was peaceful and memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a true beachside retreat!

Southern Comfort Overall, the house was good. Great location and loved the boardwalk alongside the house. The deck porch was the best part of the house! The house is older, and you can tell it needs some work and updating but satisfied with our stay!

Excellent Location, New deck but has a quirk. The house is well maintained and clean and has plenty of kitchenware to support cooking and serving. Some of the quirks are the water pressure was extremely low in the master shower and nearly non existent in the outdoor shower. The Master bath sink is extremely narrow to square onself in front of it in the nook that it is in. Beyond those small issues, the location and sights were great. We would look at this property again.

Great Ocean Front Beach House Very clean and well stocked. Great location for a nice get away. Southern Comfort did not disappoint.

Great house. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at southern comfort 7913. We loved the kitchen and all the amenities it offered. The location and views were great for relaxing in the daytime. Great for our dogs as well. The neighborhood was perfect for morning and afternoon walks offering trails through the marsh. We loved the open layout and old school feel of the house.

Genuine Beach House This home is just what a beach house should be. Some carpet, some tile flooring, creaky screen doors, and pictures and paintings of Hatteras of yesteryear made us feel right at home. We used the enclosed outdoor shower for bathing. The kitchen is well-stocked, the dining area is bright and spacious, and the overall cleanliness of this home is exceptional. We had a wonderful week.

Southern Comfort Perfect for a week at Hatteras. Great that it is dog friendly. The inside of the house could really stand to be updated at this point. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Our Second Home We've been staying in this house for a long time, and I know there are properties with more bells & whistles, but all we really need is the fabulous location and views of the ocean.Changes or upgrades have always been slow here, but it always feels like a 2nd home to us.

Well-appointed on the beach Nice 3 bedroom house. Everything we needed was there. Love the tide clock! Nice size deck overlooking the ocean.
