12 days of Peace and Enjoyment Our time at Tarhoo was one of the best we have ever had<br /> on Hatteras Island. We did have a noreaster during the<br /> trip that strangely had very little rain with it. The<br /> road in Rodanthe did wash out and we became stuck. The<br /> pool was fantastic as was the layout of the house. It<br /> has very few steps entering the house and my elderly dog<br /> greatly appreciated that. The only negative thing was the<br /> dishwasher was broken but, that&#39;s not a problem. Resort Realty was very helpful duing the entire stay. Overall we<br /> would love to stay again but, we found one week is not enough.<br /> We are looking to come back in 2028 for 2 weeks.

The view was spectacular. Location very nice. House needs a few updates. Otherwise very nice.

Good Had a great time at TarHoo. Fished, kayaked the sound, enjoyed the sunsets and the wildlife. Pool was nice too.

Something for everyone! We had a wonderful week at Tarhoo. Our family has been coming to the East Carolina shores for as long as I can remember. 3 generations gathered here and there was something for everyone. The kids enjoyed swimming in the amazing pool. The dock allowed for many fun trips on paddle boards and kayaks. The short trip to the beach allowed for the first generation to step right out of the truck and onto the sand! All of us were in awe of the beauty all around, from the peaceful mornings on the deck to the breath-taking sunsets. The house was clean and well stocked. It was a week to remember! Our only concern was there was no railing coming up the first flight of stairs in the drive way. It made for very slow and careful trips up and down.

Great vacation We had an amazing time in the rental. First time renting with this co. 20+ years coming to OBX. They did an amazing job of continually communicating with me. The home is glin great shape and as stated on description.

Tarhoo stay We loved it here

Excellent I can&rsquo;t say enough good things about this house and our stay. The house was beautiful and clean upon check-in. We had a slight issue with the WiFi being down due to a wire that was down outside of the house but Resort Realty was on it and had Spectrum out to fix it the next day on a holiday. Would definitely recommend Tar Hoo and Resort Realty!

Tarhoo Great Place to stay!

Beautiful Home We had a wonderful stay at TarHoo. The home had everything we needed. The porches and decks were perfect for morning coffee and sunset views and drinks. The pool was enjoyed by everyone. The rooms were spacious, except for the basement twin rooms, which also got a little warm due to the ac settings. Everything was comfy, well maintained and top notch. Thank you for a great week.

Great House We loved the house and the gorgeous views of the sound.. The sunsets were spectacular, and the dock was wonderful. The seating around the pool could use some updating, but since we were either in the pool or sitting with our feet in the water, it wasn&rsquo;t a big deal for us. The screened in porch was welcome - as the mosquitos were out in full force. Parking is a little tight, but three vehicles can easily manage. Cannot recommend the house enough, and we have already rebooked for next year!!

Excellent Wonderful place to stay

Perfect vacation Absolutely the most comfortable house for our family! Grandparents, grandchildren, children and pets, all enjoyed the access to the bay, the salt water pool and the bayside fires watching the sunsets. The dock was a big plus for launching kayaks and paddle boards. The open space inside was perfect for cooking, dining, playing cards, doing puzzles and watching TV. We loved our time there.

Very Good We have stayed at Tar Hoo for 3 consecutive years and love being on the sound! The renovations to the outside area especially the dock were beautiful!! Thanks for a great time!
