10/1082026 to10/24/2026 Drumstick was the cleanest home we have ever had the luck of renting. Well stocked with most everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the furniture was alright (would be nice to have some updated) Unfortunately for us a nor'easter moved in on Friday the 16 with a mandatory evacuation order, which we followed and were out by 0900 on the 17th. We will try the Drumstick again in the future.

Excellent! Drumstick was perfect! So well stocked and personal touches to make our stay comfortable. The board games on the wall were awesome! We enjoyed those on our rainy days!

Hello Erin... you blew our vacation! When we arrived everything was just spot on. This was out second time staying in Drumstick. It was again warm and inviting. That was until hurricane Erin decided to visit without knocking! We'll be back and most likely in Drumstick!

Hello Eroin While hurricane Erin may have run us off on day two everything was in place for our stay. The house was in excellent shape, ready and waiting for us. On our early departure on Monday the staff that came to close the house up were more than accommodating in working with us as we packed up and moved to a house in Kitty Hawk that was rented through Resort Realty. Thank you, hoping to see you next summer less a visit from on of Erin's siblings!

Amazing home This house is located right across from the beach access making it convenient to get to the beach. There is also shopping and restaurants that are walkable/bikeable. The house itself has plenty of space for large families. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. The house was also one of the cleanest we’ve stayed in as well. You could tell how much thought and time the owners put in to this house to make it a welcoming and comfortable stay. If you stay here you will not be disappointed!

Drumstick Review We stayed at Drumstick last year and were so happy to come back this year. Our grown children arrived from Texas, Pittsburgh, and Gettysburg. Your home is so welcoming and accommodating to your guests. So much thoughtfulness has been put into making your guests feel at home. We have rented many years in OBX (Corolla), and recently decided to go further south to Avon, and love it. We had a wonderful family vacation and can’t say enough great things about Drumstick. Thank You from the Kaufmann Family!

Great house! This house is excellent! We went with 3 adults and 4 kids. There was plenty of accomodations for the whole family. Toys and games for the kids and adults, convenient location to the beach, convenient driveway to get in and out easily when you needed or wanted to go somewhere. There's plenty of room in the house. My only dislike was, being Italian I love to cook, and the cooking top was a bit small to do larger meals. But, the kitchen itself was stocked! It had everything I needed to cook and then some! This house scores a solid 9.8/10 and it will definitely be in our rotation of houses to stay at when we visit.

Drumstick was a sweet treat The owners made you feel right at home with a book on the what and where of the house and area. A nice book of others reviews for anyone to read. A very well stocked kitchen, décor was well done, warm and inviting. Plenty of supplies for the kitchen It felt like you were staying at a friends house not at a rental property. Very well done.

Excellent Drumstick is well stocked and easily accommodated our grown children and grandchildren. The bedroom layout is excellent for our needs. The beach access is just across the street making it so easy for everyone. We are repeat customers and will be again!

Wonderful week in a wonderful home Sunshine, ocean views and a beautiful home are waiting for you at Drumstick. The homeowners have worked hard to create a wonderful vacation stay. Close to the beach, close to stores and close to restaurants. We enjoyed our week at Drumstick and appreciate all the homeowners have done to create a great vacation get-a-way.

Drumstick This is the 1st time I have been to the OBX during the winter time. This house was great, we had an awesome view of the Ocean, and we were close to shopping. During this time there are not a lot of activities in this area, but we drove around and looked at houses and just enjoyed the view. The house was very well stocked with just about everything you need to get your vacation started and then some. The house was very well clean. This was the 1st time we took my little dog (Willoh) on vacation with us and I think she really liked it also. The only thing is the yard could use some attention. If you bring your 4 legged children then be careful with them in the yard, there seem to be a lot of sand spurs.

Great House We enjoyed our guy's fishing trip at this property. The house was clean and well-stocked. I would highly recommend the property.

Great House The house is very well maintained. The kitchen is very well stocked, the linens and towels are provided, and for a house that allows dogs it doesn’t smell as though. I have no negative comments about the property and would definitely stay again.

Drumstick This was our first visit to the OBX and this house did not disappoint-it was great! We loves the well stocked kitchen and the easy access to the beach. We used our gear credit for bikes which the kids loved. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us for a wonderful week!

Excellent I can not say one negative thing about this home. Clean, beautifully decorated, fully stocked, excellent location. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed ❤️. Thank you for allowing my furry 10 year old to enjoy her vacation.

Our Family Loved This Beach Home Our family loved this beach home. Close to the beach, convenient to grocery, great layout, and very charming. This home had everything we looked for and more. Would definitely come back!

This Home Was Perfect This home was perfect for our extended family vacation. The layout was spacious and conveniently appointed. Its location across the street from the beach gave the close proximity for us to be on the beach within a minute. We preferred this location rather than being right on the beach. That was especially true with Tropical Storm Ian hitting. Bottom line—we plan to return.

Great House! Great house, the kitchen is fully equipped. You can tell the owner takes pride in their home.

The best-stocked house! This was the best-stocked house we've ever stayed at. It had everything from a crockpot to a Keurig to spices. Even a regular drip coffee pot too. I usually have to bring a ton of extra necessities to feel like home when visiting, we really felt like we were at home. We rented bikes from Island Cycles for our teens which they loved! Ugly Muggs coffee shop is right down the street as well as food lion and a seafood restaurant. Beds were super comfortable and the smart TVs with Roku Hulu Netflix and all the others available was icing on the cake. Thank you so much for being a pet friendly house. This was the first time bringing our golden retriever and she LOVED it. Hope to be back again.

We Enjoyed Our Spring Break We enjoyed our stay here for spring break… house was beautiful. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were very well decorated. Enjoyed the views from all the rooms. Many games for our family to enjoys! Would come back again!
