Good location

Been staying in Hatteras for many years. This was our first October visit. House was perfect for the two of us, location was great and we have stayed in the area many times before. Unfortunately, a nor’easter blew through and our four day trip turned into a two day trip. We couldn’t risk getting stuck on the island. Good thing we left early because the highway was closed not long after we departed.

Perfect Family Vacation We LOVED our stay at Sandrose. From the views from The decks to the short walk to the beach, along with the roomy living room with puzzles and games (perfect due to storms that came in)…it was a near perfect trip! It is 4 stars and not 5 due to the furniture on middle deck. I really wanted to enjoy that deck but the chairs were not in a good state. Other than that, there were no issues. This might just be our favorite house we have stayed at in Avon. Thanks for the memories!

Crabbing The best part was making memories with our family. Crabbing is probably our favorite memory together.

Sandrose- Great House This house is super cute! All bedrooms are on the middle level, with no master bath. The other bathroom is on the top level. Kitchen was well stocked, with no disposal. Dishwasher is a little old/outdated but worked great! You can tell the owners are updating light fixtures etc. The TV info is outdated in the binder but we were able to figure it out. Beautiful views from every deck! Management was great, the TV in our room was wonky so they came put and gave us a loaner! Beach access requires stairs so keep that in mind if you have a lot of stuff you're packing! Beach sand is very soft so recommend low tide for Beach activities. Lots of beautiful shells! Lots of local shopping and museums! We loved the Lost Colony museum! The Kinnikeet swimming pool is amazing and a wonderful perk for this property! Great deal for this house. Just remember that there is 2 flights of stairs so probably not ideal for older folks or those with little ones (bring some baby gates!) Highly recommend this property!

Excellent The house was perfect for our needs. Close to the beach, restaurants, and the grocery store. It was clean and comfortable.

Perfect for a small family We love Sand Rose for our small family. Great improvements with the new gutters and mattress. The second queen mattress should really be replaced too (maybe with a king?)

Excellent Vacation! We all loved staying at the Sandrose. The accommodations were perfect. The views are spectacular. Loved every second there.

Excellent We really enjoy staying at sandrose it was in a very good location there was store nearby, we enjoy our bicycle rides in the afternoon, our walks to the beach, house in general was in good condition and clean that is more important to us, we enjoy very much than you!

Great home House was perfect for two couples. No kids along for this trip, but could have easily had 2-4 additional guests and still been great without feeling overcrowded. Decks are fantastic and have great ocean views. Great location and very close to Food Lion and Ace Hardware for quick needs. Great location to be able to travel north to the tri-villages or south to Hatteras Village. Would definitely stay in this home again.

Excellent house We so enjoyed this house, great location, had everything we wanted and no more than we needed. First the con's: 1. Screened in porch could use an overhead fan. 2. Linen package was "industrial" at best, towels and sheets not worth the money. Pro's: Everything else! loved the layout, the location, the interior, the decks, all of it, would recommend this house highly.

Nice house for a family Overall house is in an excellent location. Close to the beach with excellent views. We loved the rooftop deck for the views and the breeze. It isn't a perfect house, but we would absolutely stay here again. Great size for a family of 3-5 people.

Nice house with great views!! This house was nice and maintained well. The decks were really nice and the views and location were awesome. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking. We also really enjoyed all of the games provided!

Wonderful House Wonder home close to beach with awesome views of the ocean. Very nice inside and has been obviously well taken care of. Really felt more like a home than a beach rental. Would stay her again
