Excellent Our family had a great time and the house was just as advertised. It was clean and we had no issues. We loved the downstairs pool room and used it alot.
Loved it! I really enjoyed staying at Drydock. It was great being surrounded by trees and tucked off the road a bit. It was the perfect distance from the beach . Also a perfect location to visit local shops. I also really appreciated the small things that were available like a knife set and cutting boards and other kitchen amenities that were available. The deck and under the house area were perfect for our dogs and were also a great relaxing area for reading a book or just hanging out. Impulse definitely recommend this house and would also rent again. Thank you so much. Drayton Turner
Affordable, Functional, and Adorable Beach Cottage What a great value! I was looking for an affordable 2 week rental and was so pleased with Dry Dock! Tucked away off the main road with a lovely side yard, it felt safe for my five young kids and the dogs. The outdoor shower was clean and had plenty of space and the hose at bottom of the steps was great for rinsing sandy feet. My kids loved the “clubhouse” room under the house! It was shady and the pool room was air conditioned and had a bathroom so they spent hours down there. The living room couch was super cozy and became a popular napping location. Loved working remotely on the wrap around deck off the kitchen/living room. The walk to the beach was so short and it's equally close to the shops on the sound side. I've stayed in many OBX beach rentals both in Avon and Duck, this wasn't the fanciest but it was probably my favorite in terms of comfort, location and function. Thank you!!!
Amazing This property is amazing as is. There are so many "hang out" areas on this property it is awesome. The downstairs underneath the house is amazing with the hammock, plenty of chairs and the bonus room with a pool table and bathroom. The yard is spacious enough for children. Overall the layout of the house is great. We really enjoyed our stay.
