Wonderful Stay The perfect beach house for a quiet, low-key stay in the Outer Banks. Well-stocked kitchen, clean, and loved the crow's nest for the views.

This is a fantastic location! The house is comfortable and had everything we needed. The decks and screened porch got a lot of use. The neighborhood is quiet, other than the public walkway to the beach, which sounded like people were on our deck, but once you get used to that, you forget. There’s good people watching! The view from the top deck is incredible; I would have stayed there all day except for the hear of the August sun!

Great location that gives you the best of everything. Walking distance to restaurants and other local shops. The crow's nest gives you a nice view for sunrise.

Awesome House! Super relaxing house!

Perfect stay This was our third time staying at the Sea Cabin, another wonderful stay! Our last stay was in 2022 so the upgraded bathrooms, washer/dryer, and bedrooms were extremely nice! The balcony is always a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the sunshine and view. Kitchen had everything we needed. Clean! Will stay again!

This was our 18th year with resort realty We have always had great experiences with resort realty! The maintenance department is the best. Billy and Andrew are the best!

Great location and view! We had a delightful and wonderful time at this little gem! It was the perfect size for our family 4 for everyone to have their own space. The wood trim, doors and floors throughout were nice. We saw deer on several mornings from the deck. The location is great because it is a front-row home with an ocean view from the crow's nest and you can still walk back towards the road and cross to get to two of our favorite spots in Avon, the Froggy Dog for lunch/dinner/drinks and then Cups and Cones for ice cream and dessert.

Perfect for the week. This is the perfect size beach house. You have a place to eat and sleep and can spend the rest of your day on the beach. Crows nest is awesome as is the easy access to the beach. Private and secluded but also easily accessible. Great week!

Sea Cabin We had an amazing stay while visiting Avon. The Sea Cabin was the perfect home for the week that allowed us to see beautiful sunrises daily while enjoying easy walks to the beach after. The house was clean and came with many amenities that made our stay comfortable. We cannot wait to come back and enjoy another vacation!

Sea Cabin Great little house! Although it sleeps 6, it is more suited for 4 adults.

Excellent Perfect for our family. We appreciated having broad selection of kitchen utensils, including baking sheets and plastic storage containers. Nothing beats the crow's nest and easy access to the beach. We all loved it!

Sea Cabin Perfect for my boyfriend and I. Easy walk to beach, great views from the top deck, nice screened in porch. Could use a new grill,missing some parts, but we managed. Great kitchen, but could use some new and larger frying pans,we had to buy some for cooking breakfast. Queen size bed was very comfortable. Nice decor everywhere. Water pressure was amazing, but both showers could definitely use an upgrade!! Great location, close to all the places we like to go! All and all everything was great, so great we already booked it for next year 😁

First time Good

Just Beautiful Great! Loved, loved how close it was to hatteras and Avon was just beautiful and not slot of commercialism. Which I love!!! Locals are very sweet. Resort was great, I talked to several people and all were excellent and very helpful.

Will go back every year This is the second year we have stayed in Sea Cabin, and we will come back every year! It's the perfect size for a couple and perhaps a friend or two. This is an older house, so don't expect all of the modern bells and whistles of the McMonstrocities that are being build everywhere (tho the kitchen is updated). We love the ocean front view from the rooftop deck, love the well equipped kitchen (I cooked most meals here), loved the isolation from the yahoos and non-sense of resort-y OBX areas, loved the proximity to Hatteras, loved eating on the large screened-in porch, loved being able to walk (stumble) home from local bars and eateries, and loved running our own flags up the triple flagpole! Only suggestion (and this would be a luxury): enclose the outdoor shower! This place is perfect for a single family or a few couples. More than 6 people would be possible, but tight.
