Glad to be back! It has been a few years since we were able to make it down to OBX. Anchored in the Sand turned out to be an excellent fit for our return.<br /> <br /> The house was very clean. The bedrooms were comfortable, the TV room was spacious, and the large kitchen table made &ldquo;seafood boil night&rdquo; a huge success. The pool table is maybe slightly cramped but certainly not enough to keep us from trash-talking each other between lucky shots (a few) and really bad attempts (so many).<br /> <br /> The areas beneath the house were the cleanest I&rsquo;ve seen, and the hammock was a big hit &hellip; once everyone figured out how to not flip out of it. Lol<br /> <br /> Walking over the dunes going to &amp; from the beach is always a struggle but being so close to the access made the trek a little more tolerable.<br /> <br /> We LOVE Avon so we&rsquo;re definitely coming back. Hopefully Anchored in the Sand is available as an option when we make our return.

Very Nice all around! Will definitely be staying at this place again! It was just like the pictures, close, easy walk to the beach, and most importantly, the was the cleanest house I&rsquo;ve ever stayed at in the OBX..Hope resort realty keeps up the good work!!! Very happy with everything about the house and communication. Very prompt! We will be back to this place for sure! Also, it was great that it was pet friendly because we did take our dog with and there was no dog smell at all! Very impressed that we couldn&rsquo;t even tell that there were dogs in this place. Our dog was very happy here too! Just watch out in the grass for the little green prickly balls! lol. They r like needles and very small! They weren&rsquo;t everywhere, but I did rip some out of the thick patch of grass out back! Welcome to the beach tho, those things are just part of nature!! Thank you for such a great place!!! Makes vacation so much better when you can walk right in and unpack!

Relaxing week at the beach! We enjoyed everything about this cute little gem in Avon! Three of us had a great time and enjoyed all the wonderful details the owners have provided. The outdoor swing and hammock were great for lounging in the shade. The house was well stocked and maintained. We have been coming to Hatteras Island (specifically Avon and Buxton) for 35 years and this house is one of our favorites. The living space was comfortable and we appreciated all the puzzles and games. The pool table was fun and the beds were comfortable too. Thanks for sharing this cute place at the beach!

We come to the OBX every year, have stayed in several Airbnbs with Resort Realty, never had an issue. We really enjoyed our stay here. Access to the beach was really close and nice. Host is quick to respond and provides everything you need!

Great stay! House was very clean and comfortable. Everything was as described in listing. Kitchen was well equipped.

Excellent beach house Everybody had such a good time at this beach house. It was very clean, nicely decorated, felt very homey. loved the pool table, the swing and the hammock even the little sitting area was great to do an outdoor movie 10 out of 10 would stay again.

Little Gem at Avon Property was fantastic. Had everything you need for a quality vacation. Close to beach and shops. Would highly recommend!

Great place to stay! We go to Avon every year for thanksgiving. This was our first time staying in this house and it was perfect! It was very clean and also had a ton of kitchen supplies. Previously houses we ended up having to buy measuring cups and just the basics to cook. But this house has everything. The pool table was great for rainy days to keep our teens entertained. There was also a ton of board games to play which helped keep our toddler entertained. The yard was also nice for our dogs. Will def book this house in the future!
