Enjoyable stay, as always... The kitchen and floor renovations made since 2023 were astounding! However, our suggestions would be: lighting (solar) on the stairs, as they're very dark; and a new bed frame/boxspring in the primary bedroom, as the new mattress was murder on our lower-backs and hips. Otherwise, our stay in 7569-Van Dyck was 4.5 stars out-of 5.

Very wonderful people to work with!

Great little place that we really enjoyed staying at. With my wife and I getting a little older and our knees not working like they used to, we were glad to find a small, single level home. The back deck was only about 8 feet so it was an easy climb. The home had everything we needed. The home was very clean and well kept. Me, I love to cook. There was absolutely everything I needed to prepare a meal. Anything from a simple grilled cheese sandwich to a full thanksgiving meal was there. Cable TV was a plus for us at night. We were told about the house a couple years back by a couple that stayed there regularly. Now, we will be another couple that will be coming back again. And the best part, it’s pet friendly for our Lab and Malamute.

Very Good We had a great stay at this rental. The house was a short walk from the beach which was convenient for the whole family, especially our small dog who tires easily. The screened porch was a must to keep from getting attacked by the mosquitoes, and we will never rent a house without one now. The interior of the house needs some updating, but it had more than enough dishes and cookware to suit our needs. Overall, we had a great time and loved our visit to OBX.

Return Guests-Great location 👌 We have stayed in this home the past three summers. The home is on a quiet street with close beach access. It is a bit dated, and there are small repairs that could make the home even better, but it is perfect for our family. Our favorite feature is the screened in porch. We always spend a great deal of time out there when we are not on the beach.

Van Dyck Smaller old style place. Very comfortable, clean, well kept with everything one needs. Nice porch for sitting. Convenient and close to restaurants and grocery store. Short walk to beach. I’ll be back.

Awesome place ! We had such a great time ! The beach is very nice and just about a 1 minute walk . We’ve stayed in fancier places but never a nicer place ! Can’t wait to stay right here again 🌴

Convenient access to the beach Super convenient access to the clean beautiful beach in Avon. Outdoor shower, laundry access and well stocked kitchen made the week's stay for our family a great one.

Great location The location was fantastic, steps from the beautiful beach! The price was excellent as well. The house was very clean, utilities were dated but worked well. The sleeping arrangements could be improved; the largest bed is a full size which is not comfortable for two adults. The entire experience would be much improved with larger beds to accommodate taller people and some updates to the decor. Overall we had a nice experience for what we paid and the complimentary beach chairs were much appreciated.
