Amazing stay We loved this home. The owners should be made aware there are several leaks throughout the home when the storm was at its worse. We did place pots under those leaks. The coffee pot was shattered and unusable. The interior handle of the exterior door for the bunk bed room continuously fell off. The rainy day room downstairs was inaccessible as no keys worked. This did not impact our stay greatly enough to call attention at the time as we had two small dogs and preferred not to have repairs made during our stay. This location is unmatched and we will likely book again!

This was a beautiful location for our family of 5 adults. We loved the views of the sound, and having sound access. It was very quiet! The beach was about a 12 minute walk and we drove there some because we had the canopy and chairs etc. overall convenient location

Privacy, wildlife and sunsets We loved the privacy, wildlife and sunsets. The kitchen had everything we needed. A great place to spend our vacation.

Perfect Location - Amazing Sunsets We loved Carol's Soundfront Castle! The location was excellent and the sunsets from the top deck were amazing! We loved all of the nic-nacs and deco decorations. I don't think we saw them all. Also, thanks to Resort Realty for working with us concerning the appliance issue! Us and our little dog thank you. We did catch a few fish and crabs also!!

Beautiful Home The home was beautiful and located in a great area. The views on the third floor were beautiful and we enjoyed spending time up there. The home had every amenity you needed and was comfortable for a family of 7. However, the owner does keep cats here and the house smells like cat spray. It was overwhelming our first day and lingers on all of the furniture. The mosquitoes were so bad at this time of the year that we couldn’t enjoy the deck in the afternoons. If you want to venture outside you need to have bug spray.. I don’t know if there is much to do about the issue but it’s something to note. Lastly, the AC is not the best during the day. They do have a lot of box fans to help with this but it was hardly enough on an 85° day. Other than the few things noted, it was a nice stay and the weather was beautiful the entire week!

Summer Vacation Excellent soundfront property with large house full of amenities. A wonderful place for a family vacation!

FANTASTIC LOCATION LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! Right on the sound, with a dock. The house was well equipped. Had every gadget in the kitchen you could need. Bedrooms had ample space & storage. Views were amazing. Only rated good because of the smell of cat spray. We did some deodorizing & airing out of the house the first nite. It did get better.

Great views Lot's of wildlife to see,plenty of water activities.

Loved it! We have been vacationing at the Outer Banks for well over 20 years and have stayed at many homes. This home was in a wonderful location and the kitchen was well stocked. The home has many many beautiful and interesting decorations and very comfortable. The sunsets over the sound were incredible and an added bonus was the wooded private access to the sound which our dog Bugsy was overjoyed with. We were very pleased and we hope to return next year.

Carols Soundfront It's all about the views!From every deck all you see is the beautiful cove with Parasailers,kayaks and paddle boarders.Everyone having the time of their lives.We had the most amazing vacation.Relaxing in the hot tub completed each day! We will definitely stay here again.

Fabulous house We loved the house and its location on the water. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed & even included herbs & spices. Great little game room on the top floor with lots of different games available to play. House was clean and well cared for. Loved that bikes were available for guest use, & the Hot tub was perfect for stargazing on cooler nights. We absolutely would stay here again!

Loved the Home & Views! The use of the boats and bikes was wonderful! Amazing view, I could watch the wildlife and wind surfers all day. Great selection of board games and books. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed which is rare. This house is set on a great property with a lot of privacy and room.
