Wonderful Time This house has an amazing view! This is our second time staying here. It is very spacious and accommodates our family very well. Booked for next year again. The beach access is very easy and don’t have to walk far at all. Love the house. The house was clean however the floors needed to be vacuumed better and scrubbed. There was black dog hair everywhere.

Nice but you may need 4 wheel drive We enjoyed our stay - house is very nice and met our needs! We had to call the rental company twice for issues but they were very prompt and attentive. We were there when Humberto and Imelda were a threat so I called before we left home to inquire about flooding at the house and was concerned about our vehicles sitting in flood waters and I was told that it had not been a problem since the house had been moved but we were stranded for about 12 hours due to the road being covered in sand and ocean overwash. I called the rental company to let them know and also inform them that the nice concrete driveway had most of the sand washed out around it. They were very quick to respond and offered to bring us anything we needed. Thankfully NCDOT arrived and worked the next two days to keep sand off the road and rebuild the dunes but they leave around 5 and back around 8 the next morning. If you needed to get out after they left you would want 4 wheel drive. The rental company had someone come out and back fill around the driveway- just beware you may need a 4 wheel drive if this happens often. Overall the house was very nice and met all of our vacation needs!

Very Good House location was great, beautiful view. The house accommodated our family very well, we had a wonderful week. It would be nice if there were steps off the deck on the ocean side. Overall the it is a nice place. We can’t wait for next year!

Very Good The ease of renting and the staff was super nice

Great house right on the beach! We have never been this close to the ocean in any of our beach side houses. It was so great to not have to lug any of our stuff because the ocean was so close. The only issue was not having an outdoor shower but we made it work.

Great place, awesome location! Really nice place with amazing views and access to the ocean. If you want water at your doorstep, it doesnt get mich closer than this. A few little details could have been better but the location and overall experiece far outweigh anything missing.

Excellent Location! We had a very nice stay. The location is excellent - right on the beach! While the house could use a few updates, the location makes up for it. If you’re looking for a beach getaway, this is a great option. Also, you definitely need 4x4 drive! Even with 4x4, it’s still a bit difficult to navigate up the driveway.

Beautiful Home - Beautiful Location My family of 12 spent a wonderful week at this property. It has everything a family needs for a week on the beach. The location is literally on the beach with access to the downstairs refrigerator and bathroom. No lugging coolers through the sand. The house was clean and well kept. Well stocked kitchen for cooking needs. (Brought our own Keurig). We would definitely book this house again.

Really great! Was a great week and gathering spot! View from living area is amazing. Love the master suite, the other bathrooms kind of paled in comparison, the dining table was great for meals and game playing. Loved being directly on the beach with no dunes!

Great Beach Vacation My family and I have been going to the Outer Banks for the past 7 yrs and each year we keep looking for a cottage that would meet all of our needs. Other than a view upgrades and repairs which are needed, it met all of our needs and budget. The beach wasn't crowded, we were right on the beach which was fantastic, it had a kitchen on the ground floor for snacks which kept the sand down stairs instead of through out the cottage. The only thing I would suggest to other renters is bring dark curtains for the bedrooms because the sun comes in at 6:00 a.m. and what they have on the windows doesn't block it out. The parking situation was crowded but we had three cars. This is the first time we actually booked next year. It was a great vacation.

Steps to the Ocean and I can see the Nights in Rodanthe Movie house from the deck Love it lots of room and activities for all family and friends of all ages. I love the fridge and foosball table on the bottom level. load the freezer for ice pops for sweaty kids coming off the beach and easy steps to surf fishing. Swing is new on this level. Jacuzzi on second level is amazing and the view from the top level deck is second to none. My family absolutely loves visiting this place for charter fishing trips, winter birthday parties and spring, summer and fall family reunions!
