Visited with my family and we had a great time at Kylie's place. Everyone loved it due to the well decorated space that can accommodate large groups. The surrounding areas are beautiful as well.

Place was amazing, clean and had great views of the mountains. Very private and peaceful. Had good space for parking and everything in the house was nice and organized. Kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and house had plenty of board games. Living TV took a bit to work though but there is also a TV in the basement which was accessible. Rooms and the bathroom was nice and clean. Kylie was super friendly and responsive, and very kind with our requests. Genuinely a 5 Star stay.

We absolutely loved it here ! We were in town for a family wedding and the house blew us away. It was an absolutely gorgeous house and a gorgeous area. The hosts were available and responsive. We hope to come back!

The host was very responsive and always ready to help and answers questions. She was also generous enough to allow us to do early check in. Would surely recommend this place to anyone who wants a very relaxing and peaceful vacation.

This cabin was an absolute disaster from the moment we arrived. Under the table was candy and crumbs. The downstairs fireplace emitted a very strong gas smell. The patio downstairs had multiple paint cans around and a thick wet varnish. When we left the trash was full of empty cans and bottles. The host was very unhelpful.

Kylie was very responsive. The home was a little hard to find on the other side of the parking lot, but once you know where to look it is not difficult to get to. There were quite a few missing kitchen utensils, and it could use a good cleaning. There were a few stains on the sheets and dust and build up all over the floor. The fireplace was not working when we arrived however they were very timely in helping us get it situated. They even had batteries delivered for the remote. It would be nice if these things were checked prior to guest arrival so we didn’t have to feel like we were bothering them. The driveway and roads were kept clear even through the snow.

We had a great stay. Everyone was so accommodating during our stay.

I guess I would say the little things matter. We entered to towels being on the floor of the stairs...likely from the cleaning people. We had no water until we woke up the following morning. While the communication was ok, I think the water issue deserved a more proactive approach. The down stairs fridge had old, molded food which had a terrible smell. The kitchen, while technically stocked, did not have basic items needed to properly cook.

We had such a wonderful stay at this home. The house was beautiful, cozy, with stunning mountain views that made every morning and evening special. The location felt peaceful and private, yet still close enough to explore the area.

Made lots of memories with our family here. Highly recommend!

Loved our fall break getaway with our friends, was very peaceful and relaxing, we all really enjoyed ourselves in this cabin and in the surrounding nature!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! The hot tub was perfect, and we had a great time playing pool. The views were absolutely stunning, and we loved exploring the surrounding area. Although the nearby ski slope is permanently closed, we still highly recommend this cabin for a peaceful and relaxing getaway!

Very good communication and clear welcome pdf. Views were amazing. House was well sized. Would recommend. The only thing I did not realize is you do not have access to Wolf Laurel. (Pool, playground, pickleball) it might have stated it in the listing. I just did not see it. But if those things are not a game breaker for you, go for this rental. It looks just like the photos. Everyone enjoyed it.

Great stay, we had a fantastic time. The house has everything you need. We had 10 guests and it was more than enough space. Asheville is about a 40 min drive. Great hosts as well and very flexible with everything!

Valentine ski trip Two adults and 4 kids. We had more than enough space. Some beds weren’t used. I appreciated what was already provided, even though I planned to go buy:Coffee and Laundry/ Dishwaher pods. Hosts were very helpful.

Perfect location for our family to stay at. Super close to Hatley Pointe and only 10 minutes from Zip N Slip snow tubing. We LOVED the downstairs game room and hot tub. I do wish the bunk beds were on the main living floor with the other rooms, our young kiddos were too scared to stay down there by themselves, but it worked out with them staying in the extra room on the main floor. House was well equipped with everything we needed. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay.

We had a great time at Skyline cabin! The location is fantastic and the cabin is super cute. The hosts are wonderful and very responsive. Would definitely book again!

Horrible deceitful dangerous BEWARE We walked into a punched through door, piles of trash outside, sewage smell, ragged sheets and towels, a hot tub that had the breaker turned off and was full of phlegm and other pool scum. We let the property manager know immediately. They pretend it is listed by a couple named Elliott and Kylie Caldwell and that you speak to Elliott personally, but it’s a larger management company. It says it is ski in and ski out, but it is not unless you climb a hill and jump wires. We alerted them of the door and trash and they did not acknowledge. We had to tell them to acknowledge. It was dirty. We vacated without finishing our reservation. We asked for a refund. They told us we still had to pay and the cleaning fee. We sent photos of all of the trash and showing how uncle ran it was. Open bandages, mold, dishes in dishwasher…we have been fighting with them and they have said they will not refund us until we sign a legal document to not share our experience and remove our review. We can’t do this as it would be dishonest and others will have a negative experience. We are not in the wrong. We will never rent with them again. They need to resolve these issues. They have still not refunded us as of the day as this review. We have proof and photos of all above.

Had a great getaway with family! Kids loved the pool table and hot tub. We had fun tubing and skiing nearby. Hosts were extremely responsive.

Place was everything that was shown. We enjoyed the space and the area. She was very quick to answer any problems that we had we were responded to. I would definitely stay here or recommend this place.

Elliot & Kylie quickly responded to any questions. The cabin was spacious, clean & all the beds were comfortable. Parking was convenient & room for 2 SUV's. Enjoyed the pool table, arcade games & hot tub. I would recommend the cabin and area for a nice quiet relaxing weekend.

This beautiful cabin looked exactly like the pictures and we enjoyed every minute of being there! We spent most of our time on the balcony taking in the beautiful view of the surrounding mountains! Elliott and Kyle communicated exceptionally in regard to all questions we had. We will DEFINITELY be back!!

This place was perfect for us! We had plenty of room. The house was exactly as described. The view was better than the pictures. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the beds were comfy, soft, and clean. The hosts were great to work with and communicated quickly. We never had any concerns while there. A remote and relaxing stay on a mountaintop within an hour of Asheville and Johnson City. Quiet area, respectful neighbors and community, beautiful views from porches and hot tub. If you have time, we recommend ziplining or other outdoor activities at nearby Navitat (approximately 35 minutes). Very communicative and helpful hosts.

Not QUITE as Expected The property was lovely but we struggled with a few things... accessing the internet and thus, the TV, was a challenge. The upstairs living area is a good bit smaller than it appears. Locked ourselves out of the bathroom, so caution: that's easy to do! The upstairs furniture is firm - a bit stiff. Would stay again, but just good to know what the set up is like.

Relaxing Fun Cabin Stay Went on a girls trip wit my friends age 30-35. We had a great time. The cabin fits all the descriptions. The host was quick responding. Recommend :)

Loved our stay! The house was fully stocked and was a great place to hang with friends! Would definitely come here again.

We had a great time staying in Mars Hill. The view of the stars at night was incredible and there was plenty of room for everyone in our group to spread out in the house. Elliot and Kylie were very responsive and helpful. If you are planing to come up during winter weather definitely bring a car with 4wd. I was able to make it down the mountain after some wintery mix in my 2wd, but it was pretty dicey. All in all great house and great location if you want to do a day trip to Asheville during your stay.

The house is very nicely built with logs in all the exterior walls and a great view down the valley. There was a ice sliding place nearby to entertain us during the stay. The house was mostly clean and with a nice decor. There is plenty of hot water at any given time! Also the hot tub (even if little dated) worked well and offered a stunning view from the balcony. The communication with the Elliot was good. There were clear instructions prior to checking in and a very informative booklet with a summary of the instructions. There have been some issues (towels, washer, etc) and I got answers quickly, unfortunately though the issues were not resolved in the end. If you are a big party, especially if you plan on using the hot tub or you stay more than 2 days, I’d suggest to bring some extra towels.

Our trip was fantastic! The location offered excellent privacy, creating a peaceful weekend as we desired. The hosts were proactive in resolving an issue upon our arrival. While there were a few minor issues, they didn't significantly impact our experience.

Clean, Beautiful Lodge House The house was exactly as pictured—beautiful, clean, and gorgeous views of the mountains. It’s a bit remote and the road up to it is difficult to navigate in the dark, but we had an absolutely amazing time and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Asheville area. This is one of the most beau airBnB’s I have ever stayed in. The beds are super comfortable and everything was great. Super accommodating and had everything you need. My only negative aspect is a $250 cleaning fee for a two night stay, plus they add additional instructions for renters to clean the unit themselves, the fee seems steep if you’re planning to ask guest to do services for the rental.

We had a good time staying at this house, All the instructions were provided in time, We had few queries/concerns when we reached home but those were resolved by the host, Host was very responsive. Good Things : 1. Clean and comfortable home, well stocked with everything you would need. 2. Location of the house is on hilltop, great view and exciting drive. 3. Lot of things to do in house- bathtub, games, eat, sleep etc to name a few. 4. Value for money, The house can accommodate three families easily specially the basement was awesome. Not so Good things : 1. Grocery stores are far, once you are on hill top, it's difficult/lazy to go down and come back. 2. Not much to do outside, Outside the home although the view is great and great to roam around but there was not much to do. Overall the home was very nice and comfortable, we were with Kids and elders so it was a good fit for us.

We had 8 guests here this weekend for my boyfriends birthday and there was enough room for everyone here. Two of the teens took the basement where one slept on the couch and the other stayed in the bunk bed room. there was a small heater in the basement that kept the bunk bed room an appropriate temp for our cold natured teen which she appreciated a lot. We had fun with the pool table and hot tub and the living spaces provided (almost) enough room for all of our family members to hang out together. This is a beautiful property but be wary of the driveway. I definitely suggest a SUV/Truck. There’s an abandoned ski lodge at the top of the hill which was very cool to look at but also gives the trip an eerie edge about it which my group loves but may not be ideal for everyone. There are some cleaning opportunities for the cleaning crew including cleaning around the toilets and the baseboards. Overall, it was a great trip!! Hosts were responsive and allowed us a late checkout thankfully.

First the good: beautiful location, comfortable beds, responsive hosts The not-so-good included hair in the bathtubs and dirty dishes. The listing and checkout instructions claimed three thermostats and there was only one, on a normal weekend this would've been fine but on the weekend we were there with a wind chill of 4 degrees, it was hard for the heat to keep pace. The promised "welcome kit" was missing which again, on a normal weekend would've been a minor annoyance (dishwasher soap, coffee) but since we were trapped and couldn't leave the house, was a problem. The biggest issue was that the HOA told the homeowners (who in turn told us) that the roads were safe to drive on and this wasn't true. The homeowners cannot control the weather but we (along with nearly every other person that weekend) had to abandon our All wheel drive vehicles on the side of the road and walk almost a mile in snow to the house. The roads needed to be salted in the winter when snow/ice is expected

Elliott and Kylie were amazing. Very respectful and responsive. I would definitely stay again. Loved the views. The beds were so comfortable. My family had the best time and didn’t want to leave.

Absolute Perfection My friend group and I stayed here to celebrate NYE & a birthday and it couldn't have been a more perfect space. Everyone slept comfortably, we had plenty of space to do things together or individually, there's a TON of deck space to take in the amazing views, and the hottub was just the cherry on top. Elliott was super communicative from the get-go, I asked a few questions leading up to our stay and he was always very kind and prompt with replying. All of my friends loved this property and we're already talking about returning in the future!

They were wonderful hosts who reached out often - the place was beautiful & great for two families. We really enjoyed the pool table and game area as well, and the hot tub was wonderful in the cold. Highly recommend!

Amazing host! The house was so beautiful with great views. I spent most of my time in the hot tub and playing pool. So much space, very warm and cozy. There was a nice sky line trail and the view was breath taking. Can not wait to return.

Loved the cabin! Really nice space, great view, super clean! Hosts were friendly & responsive. Hot tub wasn't working & they had someone come look at it; unfortunately the control panel went out, but I understand these things happen & they did what they could. We still had a great stay & I appreciated them letting us check out later since we got snow overnight. Definitely a steep drive up there, but made for a great view! Would def stay in one of their properties again.

This place is great. The hosts were very easy to communicate with, honest and immediately responded to a few minor issues. Perfect layout for adults and kids- downstairs game room was a lot of fun. Area has nice hiking nearby- including a 20 minute loop to see an old airstrip. If a hot tub is a priority- they are in the process of fixing so I would reach out to confirm before booking. Loved our short time at this house, and wish we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed many things: - Tons of seating on the decks, and we loved sitting outside with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Great view and even the fog was lovely! - Really comfortable beds. - Pool table and PacMan game on lower level. Our children and adults enjoyed this. - Perfect bunk beds in one bedroom for four children. - coffee maker, Keurig, well-stocked spice cabinet, starter coffee and more, outside grill, room for 8 of us to eat to eat together inside or out. - wonderful time for our entire group, from age 6 to 72!

Honestly a dream! We stayed here for my sister’s bachelorette weekend & it was so amazing. I was a restful getaway close enough to Asheville to not run out of things to do!! Very grateful for the experience!

Quality Time My six children and I enjoyed a two night get away for Fall Break in October. Something about escaping reality for a few days makes everyone better together. We had a fabulous time. Exploring outside, eating, enjoying the hot tub, playing pool, and Pac-Man. Everyone had fun ages 8-44.

Perfect place for October weather and foliage changes. Beautifully, well kept cabin style home with nooks to permit up to 3 families to commingle and have privacy. Easy to just stay here or venture out.
