Because I want to be gracious, I will first say this house has potential. However, our experience was very bad. We were told on the 2nd day- after we had paid $500 beforehand to heat the pool- and in response to my multiple messages about why the pool was dirty and cold (even when the temps were 80 and sunny) that the pool was “closed” and unsable. 1/2 of the games didn’t work. The sauna didn’t work. The 2 indoor fireplaces had sticky notes on them saying “do not use; service needed” The outdoor firepit didn’t turn on. The hot tub stopped working midweek bc the filter change was days overdue. (That was fixed.) Gym was nice. The pics look better than reality- bathrooms are old and very dated. This property is managed by a team that is not local- there’s no one there to talk to. Everything is remote and impersonal. We did end up getting some of our money back but it didn’t make up for our terrible experience. I would not stay here again ever. Needs a lot of work and attention.

The house is absolutely beautiful and huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view is incredible, the pool was so much fun, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. A few amenities didn’t work as expected: the air hockey table was broken, shuffleboard didn’t have sand, there were no ping pong balls, the deck fire table didn’t work, and the sauna didn’t have stones and never really heated up. Nothing was a major issue, but it was a little disappointing. The kitchen is very well stocked, including plenty of kid-friendly dishes. The downstairs has only one bathroom, accessed through the twin-over-full bunk room, which was a little inconvenient at night. The steps to the pool can also be tricky for younger kids and older adults. Overall, it’s a wonderful house, and I don’t think anyone would regret staying here.
