Nice rental but a little far from beach Sun Kissed was a nice house with a hot tub and a pool. The included towels and sheets was nice as the beds were already made when we arrived. The walk to the beach was a bit of a haul but the pool was a good option on those lazy days.
Excellent Loved it Beautiful home
Resort Realty was wonderful in helping us with this rental. The home was clean and spacious and had the hot tub and pool checked the same day. During our stay they were responsive to questions in a timely manner, asking our stay stress free.
Location was great! Easy access to beach. For the most part, quiet and peaceful. House was beautiful, but furniture dated. Kitchen was WELL stocked. Beds were comfy. Railing on right front porch VERY loose and wobbly. Plenty of parking. WiFi was intermittent. Technician changed out modem which helped. Would definitely recommend for family vacation.
October Visit Sun Kissed is a great place to stay. Everything you need is there. There is both an ocean and sound view.
Perfection This property was just what the doctor ordered for our stay this year. The pool area was an absolute hit, so nice and relaxing there. Not too far from the beach and absolute great sunset views. This is our second property with Resort Realty and we will continue to use them for future stays.
Great house, almost perfect My family of 11 stayed in Sun Kissed for a week mid-July 2025. The house is so well equipped with everything, we were very pleased. One thing we thought odd was that there was not one hanger to be found in the whole house in the closets. (Maybe the owner should know this in case she did have them supplied and a guest decided to take them all home). The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were all comfortable. Nicely appointed with bedding and pillows and blankets galore. The location of the house was new to us this trip. Being at mp 19.5 was different than where we usually stay which is up around mp 10. The street was almost silent in the evenings, very little traffic going up and down. Gave us plenty of opportunities to sit on the decks and listen to the frogs and crickets all around us. The walkway to the beach is right across from the end of the driveway, Nansemond Street. Not too far to walk and only a slight hill in the sand to walk on to get there. But the thing that is absolutely outstanding at this house is the new pool area that was built this spring. The gazebo was a god send with the heat and sun, gave us plenty of shade to use if we wanted to. The new gas grill was great to have as well. The pool was a really nice size and we were all able to be in it together. Lots of chairs and loungers to use and a big thank you to the owner for the deck furniture. The tall chairs with attached tables were excellent. Every appliance worked as intended and we had no plumbing issues during our stay. Another really nice feature of this house was that in the mornings we would take our coffee out to the front deck to watch the sunrise and in the evenings out to the back deck to watch the sunset, such a bonus. We really loved this house and wanted to book it again for the same week next July. We called on our way home to do that only to be told the house is already rented for our week and we were out of luck. That was disappointing so it's back to the house search for us for July 2026.
July 5-12, 2025 Accommodations met our family needs very well. The kitchen was well staffed. Our family really enjoyed the expansion of the pool area and shelter that was added to provide shade and much more seating area. The only suggestion was to add a light & fan to that shelter area for night time use.
Wonderful vacation house We have been coming to OBX for the last 30 years. This house did not disappoint. Our family has grown and this house had enough room for everyone. The game room was more than adequate allowing the grandkids to play pool, foosball and work a big jigsaw puzzle. The pool area was fantastic with the new construction allowing grandma to sit in the shade. Access to the beach was easy. Just across the street. You will love this house!

Sunkissed for a week The location of the home was great and the house itself had everything we needed for a multifamily vacation.
Sunkissed We enjoyed our stay at Sunkissed and it fit our large family perfectly. I will say I was bit worried when I pulled up and saw missing siding on the outside of the house. It definitely needs attention and I was worried what the inside would look like because it is an eyesore. Luckily the inside of the house did not disappoint. This property does have a shared driveway but we didn’t run into any problems with our neighbors with parking. Sometimes we had to play musical cars to let one of our family members out, but it wasn’t too bad. I do wish this house had more beach items, like beach chairs wagons and so forth. Some of the other houses we’ve stayed at before had these and were nice to be able to use. We did have issues with the master bathroom on the top floor and master bathroom on the second floor. Water just pulled in the shower/bathtub and wasn’t draining properly. We called the realty and maintenance showed up within 30 minutes and fixed the issue. We also noticed that the pantry in kitchen smelled very musty therefore, we didn’t store any of our food in there and didn’t use the pantry at all. Also noticed that there is quite a bit of condensation coming off the vent in the ceiling in the kitchen as well, dripping on the kitchen floor. We also lost internet on our third day. I did reach out to maintenance and left a voicemail twice but no one ever called back. The next day we were able to restore internet connection but not with the connection of Sunkissed we originally had. Instead it was under spectrum 9 and we used the password that was on the back of the router. The inside was clean, beds were comfortable. The pool and spa was nice and relaxing, however, there is no shade which is a bummer. I would of liked some area to be shaded for some of us to cool off/take a break from the sun while still being able to hang out with others by the pool/hot tub. Overall, we’re very satisfied with the home.
Very Good We had a great stay! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. A plus was all the games available to entertain younger children. The beach was close enough for us to walk to, ( ages 2-82). The only negative was, no broom to sweep the house with and no dish towels included in the linen. Would definitely stay again!
Sunkissed for Thanksgiving We loved this house. We spent two weeks over Thanksgiving in OBX with our extended family and puppies. This is the first year staying at SunKissed and we loved it. Plenty of room. Don't let the pictures deceive you. All of the bedrooms were a nice size and the extra nook on the 2nd floor was a bonus space. The living space is massive. We loved the 3 couches upstairs. Not only were they comfortable but it allowed everyone to have a seat to watch Xmas movies or to stretch out. We loved having a separate table in addition to the full dinning table. We built several puzzles without taking up dinning room table space. The location is great. It's tucked back making it very private and there was plenty of space for the dogs. Very short walk to the beach. You can see the ocean from the top floor and you can hear the waves from the front porch. We loved all the bath mats (many houses don't come with them) and the extra blankets in all the rooms and the living area. The extra towel racks and hooks for hanging were so handy. It's the small things like this that make living in a space convenient. The entertainment space was great for family time. If your kids get bored here, I don't know what to tell you. Plenty of dishes and cookware in the kitchen. Our Thanksgiving dinner was perfect. There were even baskets for placing the rolls on the table! The upstairs fridge is small considering the size of the house and a second dishwasher would have come in handy. Same with an external ice maker. Small things that won't ruin your stay. We hope to stay her again next year.
Perfect for our Family We loved staying at Sun Kissed. It was perfect for our family. We spent mornings at the beach, and in the afternoon we swam in the pool. Thank you for providing our family with your beautiful home!
So Much Fun This trip was so much fun. We loved the house, especially the pool, hot tub, and beach access. At night the sunset on the back deck is perfect for photos. In the morning we watched the sunrise from the beach.
Wonderful Vacation We had a wonderful vacation in this lovely house. The arcade game and pool were a real hit. Hope to visit Sun Kissed again in the future!

Great vacation home This is our second stay at Sun Kissed. We were in Nags Head two years ago and returned this year to find some lovely updates. Love the new flooring and all of the beds have comfortable new mattresses. Linen service was included and the beds were made for us prior to our arrival. The hot tub and pool are well maintained. It’s a short walk to the beach and the house is located in a quiet area. The house is decorated nicely with beautiful artwork. Plenty of room for large families , pool table/ game room , tv in every bedroom, large kitchen with ample dishes and cookware. One of our favorite places to stay.
Excellent This is our 6th year in obx and it was by far the best house we have stayed in! Perfect location extremely clean and well stocked. We are so thankful it was the perfect family vacation!
Very Good Sun Kissed worked well for our family of 10. Nicely decorated, short walk to the beach and the arcade game and pool were a big hit. The sunset views were beautiful. We hope to rent there again.

Love the Arcade and Pool We love your house with all the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen full of all the dishes, pots and pans, and things we needed. The biggest hit was the arcade and the pool. We did not want for anything in this house. It is beautifully decorated. We are already talking about renting it next year.

Sunkissed! We had our first vacation this year to Outer Banks and it did not disappoint! We stayed at Sunkissed in Nags Head and had a great time! The pictures were exactly how the house looked and everything was clean upon arrival. Very satisfied with our stay and will be returning again!

Sun Kissed 6039 We loved Sun Kissed. Large kitchen and spacious bedrooms. The pool was lovely and the beach was easily accessible. The place is decorated tastefully. There are a few outdated pieces of furniture, but I'm sure the owners will replace. Ample room to spread out. A great week!
