Nice property Our second stay here. Nearly everything we want. As seniors (70+) we appreciate the elevator for getting our "stuff" in and out. The beds were comfortable but the bathrooms with tubs were a bit tricky. Minor issues with maintenence - torn screens & sticky locks on sliding doors -acceptaple as end of season rental. Again, from a seniors perspective the 2 sectional sofas in living area are low and difficult to get up from. Only 1 arm chair available and a few more would be a welcome addition. Kitchen area was pretty well stocked, but the refrigerator was small and we had to make use of the additional one downstairs. One thing we miss, which is common on many beach front properties, was a boardwalk to the beach. The walk over the dunes takes a bit of caution. My wife triped & fell the first morning, injuring her hand. Unfornutely she hurt the ring finger on left hand which swelled considerably, necessitating her wedding ring to cut off at the Kill Devil Hills fire company. They were great! More to that story but this is about the rental property. The pool (heated) and hot tub were in good condition and we'll maintained. A few more deck chairs with a a sturdier construction would be nice on the upper deck. I've had breakage with those plastic chairs in the past resulting in injury and personally I consider them a liability. We knew that, so brought our own, something else to pack and take up valuable cargo space. Overall a nice property at a reasonable price.

Excellent vacation house Our stay was awesome and we would definitely go back again the only thing I would change would upgrade the deck furniture.

A great location! First, I will start with the fact that everyone enjoyed our location at this house this year. While the house definitely has some cosmetic issues, that is to be expected in a house of this age. I think a little TLC would go a long way with this property. They have a very nice pool and hot tub. The proximity to the beach with its own private access is a game changer. We will absolutely give strong consideration to staying in this property going forward

Perfect spot! Beautiful, spacious house. Had everything we needed, even 2 kitchen sinks, 2 coffee pots, and 2 large seating areas. The beach walkway may be a bit of a challenge for older people due to the angle and lack of railing.

Fun and convenient Great time the house had plenty of room!

6/15-6/22 family vacation We enjoy staying in the Nags Head rentals area due to the access to amenities like this property. The living room furniture was very comfortable as were the beds. Well stocked kitchen with two sinks which made clean up easier. Awesome view of the ocean and appreciated the elevator option. Beach access requires walking on a dune path which may not work for all groups/families. Had occasion to call RR for a couple minor issues and appreciated the quick response. Really enjoyed our stay!

A great getaway from the snowy north This property had all the amenities our group of 10 adults and 5 children needed. Right on the beautiful beach, fully equipped kitchen, and the large open dining and living space is awesome. The hot tub worked great. Groceries, sights (aquarium, Wright brothers site, Fort Raleigh, Hatteras lighthouse, etc.) are all in easy driving distance. Off-season, so we had our own private resort.

Weathered with a great location This house is all about location. It's beachfront, which is very convenient especially for big groups. Easy drive to Manteo and also north to the busier areas of Nags Head and Kitty Hawk. The pool is large and there are a nice number of master suites. The elevator is helpful for move in, move out, and groceries. However, the house could use a little TLC. Many things are older and need to be updated, and there were more broken things in this house than I've seen in other houses I've rented in the OBX in the past. Luckily, Resort Realty did respond fast when we had a larger issue. I would suggest that the owner consider some upgrades as well as a deck walk way to the beach. I imagine that some older or disabled people would have a hard time climbing the dunes back and forth to the beach! I would rent this house again, but mostly for location alone.

A Memorable Vacation Indeed My family has been vacationing in the Outer Banks for decades and this house is one of the nicest wr have ever stayed in. There was plenty of space for out large family. The kitchen was well stocked and also very spacious. The pool was amazing and the proximity to the beach fantastic. I would be dishonest if I said there weren't a few things that could have been better. The TV in the living room closest to the deck was so small we couldn't all enjoy it. The refrigerator seems.to be on its last leg so an upgrade would be nice. And finally, getting to the beach was a little difficult for those who were a little older or younger in the group. A walkway or just fixing up the way over the dune would be so helpful. All in all, however, this house was truly amazing!

Very pleased We love the house and especially the new furniture and new mattresses that we didn’t have four years ago. So we are very happy sleeping on the wonderful beds. We love the big open living dining and kitchen that The Whole family can enjoy cooking eating and playing games together. My family really enjoys the pool table. As well as the swimming pool and the hot tub. this is something I do as a gift to my family every year. At very near 80 I have a terrible time getting down to the beach. I cannot climb the big dune between the house going to the ocean. It looks like there used to be a walkway but no longer there. So far the neighbors that have a nice walkway are kind enough to let me go down their walkway to be with my family on the ocean. That is the only drawback I see to the property. We had a Memorable Vacation 😊

Great place! This house had all new beds which were very comfortable and well appreciated after long days in the sun. Floors were pretty, couches were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with plates and variety of utensils. The hot tub and pool were a delight. There is an old charcoal grill that we struggled to use and the grill tools fell apart in our hands while trying to remove food (turned into a comical challenge)! Perhaps next season, the owners would consider purchasing a gas grill for the house? Only other items to advise is the sinks were a little slow to drain and a few screens were torn and the outdoor shower door was a little off hinge but we were careful not to make worse. Thanks for a great week. The spot is lovely.

Very Good Really enjoyed the location of the house on the ocean and having our private pool. Very accommodating 10 adults and 3 children under the age of 6. Memorable Vacation offered plenty of bedrooms and baths for all of us and a well stocked kitchen area. Would consider renting again in the future.

Truly a memorable vacation Two families totaling 12 people stay for seven nights. There was plenty of bedroom with flexible sleeping arrangements (bunk beds, kings, queens). There were plenty of bathrooms, though the drainage in the showers tended to back-up. The layout was great. The kitchen/ living area upstairs could easily accommodate all 12 of us with plenty of seating and two TVs. There was also a pool table on the bottom floor with a second fridge and bar area. The kitchen had many utensils, pots, pans, glasses (of all types) plates and bowls. The appliances and decor are out dated but the appliances functions and watching the sun rise from deco was all the “decor” we needed. The pool and hot tub were great features, functioned well and were clean. We saw dolphins most from the deck and as I mentioned watching the sunrise was beautiful. You are steps from the beach and a short walk from the pier. There were tons and tons of sea shells. You are not on the main strip of store which is nice but they are accessible with a short bike or car ride. We would definitely stay again.

Family Vacation This house is everything needed for your family to enjoy their vacation

Wonderful view, good amenities You can watch the sunrise from middle and top deck and the ocean front rooms. Pool is a good size and was maintained during our stay as well as the hot tub. Pool table is a plus. The house does need some updates and needs a better walkway to the beach. It is a simple house but with the views, pool, hot tub, private beach area, and the many bathrooms the price is right.

Beautiful views, basic house The location of this house is amazing. Ocean-front, you get sweeping beach vistas from multiple levels, decks, and rooms. The pool and hot-tub were clean and well maintained during our visit. The house offers basic amenities - simple furniture and the kitchen had the basics. Home could use some love and care to update but you can't beat the views and personal beach access!

Everyone from staff at office, cleaning crew and home owner were literally a miracle to us, complete answered prayer and we will FOREVER BE GREATFUL. JUST PHENOMENAL!!!

Nice & clean House is very comfortable. Plenty of space to spread out. Not on top of each other. Number of bathrooms was excellent. The house was nice and clean when we arrived.
