Fabulous week at Moonstruck #5823 This home is one of the most up to date homes we have stayed at in a very long time. The kitchen had every utensil you could think of and a great variety of different sizes of pots and pans. The layout of the 3rd floor with the balcony and view of the ocean took our breath away. The huge dining room table wasn’t enough. They also have a more intimate round table for visiting also. We enjoyed the convenient beach access. Many in our party enjoyed the hot tub. We can tell the owner takes pride keeping it well maintained. We all want to thank you for that and to let you know we will be back!!! The last thing I want to mention is how clean we all felt each room was!!!

Clean House in a Quiet Area This house was very clean. The new furniture was comfortable, the dining room table is huge and the additional table was perfect for playing games. The elevator was super helpful for our older guests and to help with move in/out. The beds were very squeaky and uncomfortable, which is really our only complaint. The beach access was nice but it was very difficult for our older family members to use as the dunes look to have risen since the pictures were taken. Once you get off the steps, it is a pretty steep walk up/down from the beach. Once on the beach, is was a very quiet area and we enjoyed it.

3rd summer with family at the Moonstruck This is a wonderful home. This was our third summer staying at the moonstruck and we have already booked for next year. We have a very large family and it’s perfect for the older boys to use the downstairs bedroom. Everything was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of utensils, pots and pans, blankets, and anything you would need or forgot at home. The pool and hot tubs are clean and access to the beach is very easy. The elevator makes it easy for our older family to move freely throughout the home. We appreciate the owner sharing this lovely home and the property management company keeping it clean 😄

Very Good We enjoyed our stay! Your house met all of our needs. Two things would make it better: heated pool, towels in the kitchen. Thank you!

Grandpa leads the pack of quickly growing grandchildren. My husband as his family have been coming to OBX since he can remember. Now as our families and our kids have gotten older, having a house where each teen and pre-teen had their own space was very nice. The home was perfect for our family and the location to beach made it easy for Grandpa to navigate. We will continue to watch our kids grow up and have the memories we did as children.

Great for people "of a certain age" This house has everything you would expect in an outstanding South Nags Head oceanfront rental - and then some. Our group of older folks especially appreciated the elevator, walk-in showers, and the ramp over the dunes to the beach. The bedrooms were large, and we all appreciated having our own bathrooms. The layout of the common area on the top floor was exceptional and accommodated our group very well.

Excellent We had a great time and the property was amazing. Will be renting again next year

Another fabulous visit to Moo struck This is our fourth year to stay at Moonstruck. We just really love this house. Perfect floor plan with plenty of space for everyone. The new rockers on the upper deck created a relaxing area for our morning coffee and evening cocktails. The upper level has wonderful views of the ocean and lots of room for our family to eat together and watch TV. The kitchen is very well stocked with a convenient layout and spacious cooking area. Love that each bedroom has a private bathroom and also house has two half baths. Ramp boardwalk to the dune deck and elevator are major pluses. Can’t wait to be in Moonstruck next year‼️

Moonstruck Perfect beach house; 6 bedrooms with 6 bathrooms and the cleanest house we’ve stayed in for over 40 years going to OBX!!!

Great House! This house is a great house for a group or family. We went with a total of 11 adults, all of our friends. Plenty of space in each room for a week long vacation. The house is well setup with lots of access to outdoor spaces, balconies, etc. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was awesome. And plus there's two half baths in high traffic entertaining areas. There's a couple of spots that have a musty smell, but I suppose that's most houses that are oceanfront and have lots of carpeting. Those places were the half bath closest to the pool, and the elevator. We had no issues with ANY thing at the property. The hot tub worked perfectly, the pool, appliances, plumbing, TVs, you name it. We've stayed at many rentals and AirBnB's and usually there's always something that's finicky or not functioning. Very happy that wasn't the case. The location of this house is also ideal for groups like ours. Close enough to get some restaurants, mini-golf, etc., but mostly quiet, which we loved at night. Also, being close to Fishheads was really awesome because that area usually had no parking due to the pier and beach access. If you have a wheelchair need, might not be the best house for you. It does explicitly say it's not ADA compliant, but wanted to reiterate that. I have a cane, and for me it was fine because I could manage and having an elevator was very helpful on days where stairs were really hard for me. If we come back to OBX we will probably check the availability of this house, but we like to mix it up. Thank you Moonstruck and Resort Realty!

Great location! Quiet location and close to nice restaurants and outlets. Great beach access, we didn’t have have to climb the dunes like some other places we’ve stayed, and the actual beach seemed a little flatter. Great for young kids. House was clean and had everything we needed.

Very Good We really enjoyed our stay at Moonstruck!! Despite dealing with the threat of Hurricane Ian, we all had a good time and would definitely look to book this location again if we are looking to vacation again in the OBX.

Sue All of us enjoyed our stay at Moonstruck. Accommodations were excellent as we needed a handicap friendly rental with elevator, easy beach access and room. The master suits were excellent too … no sharing of bathrooms. We were a family of adults with no children and all were very pleased with Moonstruck. We definitely would rent again if possible for same week next year

Our Beachweek 2022 We've stayed in over 30 OBX houses over the last 26 years and this one was one of, if not the best, maintained and supplied homes. Thanks for providing a wonderful home for our family vacation.

Absolutely wonderful We had a wonderful time on vacation this year (June 5-12, 2022) and it’s mostly because of our beach house, Moonstruck! We have already reserved the house for next year. The view of the ocean from the top deck was breathtaking. We three master suites and three additional bedrooms we had plenty of room. All six bedrooms had their own bath which made it great for everyone. We really enjoyed the elevator but only used it when unloading and loading our belongings when arriving and leaving. It is my opinion that Moonstruck is located in the perfect location. It is near the shops, restaurants, attractions for the kids, and of course ice cream. It is about 30 from a light house and an aquarium. My only negative would be that with the high wind the day that we arrived, sand blew into our pool. It might be helpful to have a solid wall at the back of the pool toward the beach. We called and someone came and cleaned the pool. We’re already looking forward to next year.
