Family Vacation 2026 Sugar Magnolia is a perfect property for our family of 12 - 6 adults, 2 teens, 4 kids under 12. We had enough room to spread out and all the important things worked well (AC, appliances, remote access, hot tub and pool, plumbing, etc.) The furnishings are comfortable and plentiful. The communication with Resort Realty, the reservation and payment process, the app, and all the helpful information they sent throughout the process was very reassuring and efficient. Just one thing to be prepared for is 3 levels of stairs and a walk over a small dune to the beach will give you plenty of "steps" in your day to splurge a bit on the good food at OBX!

pretty amazing location with well stocked kitchen. maybe could update some mattresses but all decor was tastefully done. loved the easy access to the beach and the view couldnt be beat.

Fabulous We went to Nags Head, meeting our children and young grandchildren for a weeks vacation. The house was perfect, clean, lots of room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. While we did some sightseeing and tourist things, we mostly hung out at the beach or in the pool. It was a wonderful watching all 3 grandchildren make great strides in their swimming skills.Thank you for providing a base for a vacation to remember!

Beautiful Home Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. It met our needs quite well. Plenty of space and well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay a pleasant experience. I would recommend this home and also Resort Realty.

Great family house The house set up was perfect….adult children families on the bottom 2 floors…my husband and myself on the top..grandchild naps, pool playing and reading books on each level is possible and comfortable! Enough room for dinner with friends ! The house had a few miner details when we arrived and upon an email it was immediately addressed . 3 levels of stairs to the kitchen…so you plan your up and down trips and on group txts :) We came at a quiet time and we were able to enjoy a very nice and quiet beach..along with a 5 min walk to the best shrimp cocktail hour ever! Could be a favorite ❤️

Perfect location for R&R We’ve been coming to OBX since the early 90s and this home was one of our favorites. We would definitely stay again!

october vacay This was our first time at Sugar Magnolia and we enjoyed it very much. Loved the location and the home. The only down-side was that the beds were not comfortable. other than that, no complaints from us.

Fantastic vacation home Sugar Magnolia was the perfect size for our family vacation! A few of the highlights at the house were the pool, spending time sitting on the deck reading books or watching the waves, and the pool table to name just a few. The whole family loved the location and would like to book it again for next year!

Very Good We found this to be an excellent choice. The location, size and layout of the home were just what we hoped for. The home was clean and well maintained. A mid-week pool cleaning would have been nice. Our only real complaint was with the internet/wifi. It was the poorest we have encountered at any OBX rental we have used. Incredibly slow and would not connect as far as the upstairs deck. Even with that we renewed our reservation for next year.

Spring break- upstate NY Sugar Magnolia was a great house for our two families to stay while on break. Location was great, near by everything. Beach was relaxing, no one really on it. We had the whole beach to ourselves. The house was great with plenty of space for our two families to do whatever we wanted.

Excellent The house was perfect for our family! Loved being right on the beach. We have never rented with Resort Realty before, but we were quite impressed! The home was ready on time, we had a couple of things that needed attention and the maintenance team was there right away. They introduced themselves, told us what they were doing, etc. very friendly and professional. And a small, but greatly appreciated benefit (which we have never had with any other rental before) is they took trash cans down to the street and brought them back to the house, so we never had to remember when trash day was! Thank you for your part in our wonderful family vacation!

Excellent We had a great week, the house was spacious and well decorated. Lots of games for the kids and when we couldn’t swim in the ocean, we had the pool to enjoy!

Excellent We could not ask for a better location. The house provided great amenities. The pictures provided did not do it justice. We saw dolphins out the top deck every morning.

Great Place Amazing location and setting. The house is perfect for larger groups and offers amazing views. Perfect getaway for our group.

Family vacation There was 16 of us. We all had plenty of space. The house was gorgeous. Very clean and well maintained. Everything we needed was available to us. We definitely will be coming back again. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation.

Sugar Magnolia 2021 Loved the house! Well stocked kitchen appliances (loved the 2 dishwashers), beds comfy, pool and hot tub were great. The WiFi was not strong enough to support multiple phones and TV streaming but that’s really the only downside. We liked being so close to the life guard stand and we witnessed one rescue while we were there. Well done! Resort Realty was awesome! Very responsive and helpful. It was an excellent experience. Thank you.
