Excellent The best time we loved this location

Excellent Stay! We just finished our stay at Free Bird and loved it. With 7 adults, a baby and a couple pups the house was the perfect size and felt even bigger than the photos. Walking to the beach was extremely quick with two great walkable beach access options via Fishheads and Ida St. The pool was our favorite part of the week. We noticed a small wasps nest the first day and maintenance came to take care of it the first thing the next day. Our only recommendation is a shade spot at the pool and a pool vacuum to collect the sand. If bringing dogs, just be mindful of spiky burs in the yard. Would definitely recommend this house!!

Excellent Everything was great with our visit!! The house worked perfectly for our family and we enjoyed our stay!! It was nice to see the wildlife area behind the house! All good!

Summers End From the outside this property appears modest. Once inside you find well proportioned rooms which appear to have been recently renovated. This property had one of the nicer decorated interiors of the many homes we have stayed at. Two floors instead of 3 was actually nice. Nice pool and hot tub areas just across the street from the beach.

Hurricane Erin week! Thank you for having us! House was excellent. The pool hot tub outside shower was great. Used the grill 4 times. Clean and easy. Pool table was perfect. I can go on and on. Considering hurricane erin was down there and we got 80 and sunny every day except one was great! 3 small suggestions - getting a pool vacuum that just drifts on the bottom, there is sand everywhere in obx so over a week it needs a good cleaning. Secondly. The outside shower needs a power wash. The algae in there from pool water, ocean water, shower, etc. makes it very slippery and a bit funky. Lastly, the air condition in the house is spectacular, the only thing I would say is the two small rooms (off the kitchen, and single bed in the hallway) have no vents, so unless you sleep with the door open it warms up throughout the night. Again, Everyone loved the house and we had a great week. Highly recommended for anyone looking to go to obx.

Wonderful house The pictures on the app didn’t do the house justice. It was much bigger than I expected. It was clean, recently renovated and comfortable.
