Very Good The house its self was fantastic and was exactly as pictured online. However the pool didn’t appear to have been cleaned before we arrived, and no one ever came to clean it during our stay.

Beautiful Home The home itself was everything we could have asked for. Beautiful, clean, cool, spacious, with amazing views of the wildlife refuge, the ocean and the sound. We cooked most of our meals in, finding there to be plenty of pots, pans, dishes, etc .The pool could really use a vacuum since there was always a lot of debris and bugs considering the home backs to a wetland forest. The skimmer was soooo long it was comical trying to maneuver it. The beach access was a bit of a hike as other reviewers mentioned but it wasn’t a terrible walk and there was always a spot to park at the Hargrove access, which also has a bath house and lifeguard. Our only major complaint is that they were doing water pipe work out front from 8am to almost 6pm every day, which was inconvenient for many reason (noisy, smelly exhaust, traffic backed up, etc.”) For three days they had a narrow, rickety, haphazard “bridge” across the driveway, under which was dirty stagnant water. Driving over it was pretty precarious and walking over we had the delight of our feet submerging into the nasty water. The realty company should have been aware and informed us and/or offered a discount considering the inconvenienc. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would stay at Birds Eye View again as long at the construction was finished up!

Nice Spring Get-away Birds Eye View is a great beach house. Modern and well equipped for a hassle free trip to the beach.Loved the location and the wonderful view from the top floor. The lift is a great luxury to help save your back.

Very Good Very nice,,same as last year. We love to see the Osprey migration and many flew over with “fresh catch “. Bird’s Eye View is for real. Also appreciated the lift.

Bird's Eye View The house was great had everything that we needed. The only suggestion i would have is to put some furniture on the 2nd porch facing the street so if it rains you can still enjoy the outdoors a little. We did rent a golf cart to get to the public beach access which was a great addition since the access is a little distance away. I would also recommend paying for early check-in as we did and as we pulled into the house as 12:58pm we got our message that house was ready. So we were able to start our vacation off a little earlier :)

Great house, average location This house was beautiful, updated, comfortable and clean. The outdoor furniture from the loungers at the pool to the chairs on the deck were better quality than anywhere I've rented before, which is important to my family since we spend so much time outside on our vacations. The only drawback to this house was the beach access. This house is so close to the beach (ocean views from the deck!), but the road directly across the street is a private road that cannot be used by guests of this property, so we ended up having to walk pretty far with my older parents and babies and toddlers. This private road issue was discovered by Resort Realty and updated on the property listing after we had booked it, but I would not have paid as much as we did if I had known how far we would have to walk. But the house is great, so if walking a little further down the road doesn't bother you, I would highly recommend!

Nice House The house was newer to the market. It is in a great location for views of the water, and enjoying the front balcony. It is not a short walk to the beach if you have kids, and are taking beach gear. The walk to the entrance is 12 minutes. You can not use the access that is directly across the street from the house. The lady that lives on the corner will let you know. So, if you have the money I would rent a golf cart unless you want to pack your car up and get all the sand in it. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house has great views from upstairs. The pool and hot tub are both nice also.

Great house We really enjoyed staying at Birds Eye View. The house was supplied with everything needed for a great week. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, knives, utensils, glasses and tupperware and also included plenty of extras like wine glasses, trays, pitchers and a steamer pot. Comfortable furniture throughout the house, nicely decorated and TV's in all rooms. The beds were comfortable and the ceiling fans helped keep the house on temp. The hot tub was a welcoming treat and although we didn't use the pool, it's a good size and location. The location is perfect as the backyard has the privacy and the front is a short walk to the beach. Overall the house is maintained well and we will be coming back for another stay.
