Like home to us As a group of friends, we have been coming to the OBX for 11 years. Five of last six years we have rented Sandpiper. The living space on the top floor easily accommodates all of us whether we are eating all together or watching movies, Ohio State, the Browns or the Guardians. The two outstanding features for our group are the heated pool (included) and the screened porch.<br /> <br /> Just a couple of housekeeping mentions: 1. The kitchen needs to be cleaned out and organized. There are so many pots, pans and lids that they barely fit in the cupboards. Same thing goes with the utensils in the drawers--so many duplicates. 2. The walkway from the pool area to the first set of stairs needs some attention. There are some nails that stick up about a 1/4&quot; which is dangerous for bare feet or walking in flip flops to the beach.<br /> <br /> <br /> The office staff and maintenance crew at Resort Realty receive our kudos, too. They have all been very friendly, and their quick responses to maintenance issues were greatly appreciated. Special thanks to Angelo and Tyler.<br /> <br /> <br /> An extra, special thanks to Tyler who helped some of our friends move in. As our group ages, it gets harder for some to unload their cars and carry everything up one or two floors. Tyler was polite and friendly and made quick work of the task.<br /> <br /> Thanks, too, to George who is the homeowner&#39;s handy man.

Excellent First time in this house and it was wonderful! The house was roomy, comfortable and filled with lots of extras. Thank you to the owners for letting us enjoy their home. Annual Family Vacation! My family greatly enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper. House had great room configurations for a large family vacation, was well appointed and well maintained. We will be back!<br /> Resort Realty was also great with response to concerns and fixed all identified issues in a timely fashion. Helped make vacation very relaxing!

Beautiful home and access to the beach This is our 3rd year staying at this house. Already booked for next year. Very clean and there are plenty of kitchen items that we used in our stay. We loved the pool, access to the beach and all outside activities in the Nags Head area. Also the grandkids loved the entertainment area with all the games supplied in the house.

Perfect Stay We had an exceptional stay at the Sandpiper. It was a great house with everything we needed and more! Pool was wonderful and there was a walkway from the pool to the beach. Restaurants very close by. Couldn&rsquo;t have been a nicer stay.

Just what we needed Our stay was awesome!! Our family came from Florida and NJ to celebrate a 60th and retirement. What a find Sandpiper was!! It had everything we needed and an ocean view. The beds were slightly hard but then I remembered I was at the beach and forgot. So beautiful!!

Great House! Our extended family of 16 people found the space in the house to be just perfect. We&#39;ve been coming to OBX for 40 years, and this house had some special advantages: plenty of kitchen table seating, couch and pool deck seating, well-equipped kitchen, nice pool and hot tub. Resort Realty is very responsive when little things come up. We loved seeing your family pictures! You can tell a lot of love is in this home!

Thank you for sharing your home with us! The amount of furniture, beds, and seating is wonderful! There were only 8 of us, but it was so great that we all were able to spread out. We loved seeing the dolphins in the morning. The pool and hot tub were great. Love the 2 dishwashers!

Beautiful Family Vacation It was everything we expected and more! Great access to the beach, and the pool was wonderful. We had the best time and made wonderful memories!

Great Vacation Very Spacious home with a lot of amenities. Pool and hot tub was great. Very close to nearby attractions and restaurants. They need a step stool in the kitchen and a little more available space to store groceries purchased. They also need to declutter what looks like stuff that people left.

Awesome family space Family of 16. Loved the five king beds, large pool, nice hot tub w good placement, best stocked kitchen in OBX!, plenty of seating for the entire family&mdash;couches, decks, pools, two massive tables in kitchen (no need for separate kids table or eating at counter on stools!). Beach was amazing&hellip; there is quite a slope on the dune so this wasn&rsquo;t good for grandparents, but there is public beach access w a blue wheelchair carpet just three doors down, which worked really well. We did not feel that the public beach access encroached on our privacy at all. Easy walk or bike ride 1 mile to Jenette&rsquo;s Pier or Fish Heads. Extra outdoor bathroom and extra shower area outside by pool. This is a dog house so there is some wear on the floors and interior, but it was clean and had a very comfortable family home feel. It felt like a real house, not a sparse rental. Loved this house.

Excellent 2nd year in this house was nice and clean. Had all the necessary items needed for our stay. Kids loved the beach and the pool. Resort Realty has outstanding customer service and very helpful with all of our needs. Will be there next year.

Sandpiper for the win! Our family had a great time staying at Sandpiper. The house is spacious, has great amenities, is decorated really well, is in a great location&hellip;and the fact that it&rsquo;s oceanfront is huge! The only reason we didn&rsquo;t give the house an &lsquo;excellent&rsquo; rating is because several of the beds were so firm, we ended up buying mattress toppers. This did not deter us from pre-reserving Sandpiper for next year though! See ya again in 2026!!

Sandpiper Retreat Our stay in the Sandpiper property was amazing. The interior was clean and had pretty much everything that we needed. The outdoor furniture needed to be cleaned but was a small price for all of the hours of fun. Resort Realty was great to work with. They were a welcome change from the company that we used last year. Thank you for a wonderful experience and we look forward to returning next year.

Sandpiper Second year we have been in that house. The house is great,well equipped in the kitchen,furniture is very comfortable, the only complaint would be the WiFi. First day were there had no WiFi and the day before we left had no WiFi. That would be our only complaint

Coffee on the deck every morning We enjoyed that the sheets and towels were supplied and beds were made. After an 8 hour ride that one thing made our stay that much easier.

Retirement Get Together Place was exactly as described. Lots of space for everyone. Location was perfect!

Beautiful house with all the amenities you would need. My great grandson enjoyed all the toys for the sand and in the house. All beds were comfortable and all the rooms were decorated so lovely. The whole family commented on the homeyness the house felt. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with our family!

Couldn't have asked for more! We couldn't have asked for more staying at your lovely home! Your home was inviting, homey, and beautiful. We enjoyed the open floor plan on the main level and the spacious bedrooms with en suites. And the pool and hot tub, we enjoyed to the fullest! We hope to return next year!

Great beach house! This is a great beach house. Great vibes for a fun family time. We love to play indoor and outdoor games. The large tables are perfect! The double appliances are so helpful.

Great place! We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home! I was impressed by how spacious and well-equipped everything was. We were blown away by the stunning views. The house is perfectly located right on the oceanfront in a peaceful area with nearby local shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!!

Sandpiper July 6-13th, 2024 stay This home was terrific in many ways. The configuration and arrangement of the bedrooms and bathrooms was exactly what our large family needed. We loved the large swimming pool and the depth.The downstairs family room area was perfect for the teenagers. The kitchen was fully stocked and the dining room tables were perfect for our large group meals. We loved the Ocean proximity and short walk to the beach. The home did have repair issues that needed to happen. Our kitchen sink handle kept falling off the first day and a nice repairman had to fix it. The sliding doors on the top deck looking out to the ocean stuck and did not fully open or close. The &quot;Jack and Jill&quot; bathroom on the middle floor must have had a toilet leak that was dripping onto the ceiling of the bathroom on the lowest floor and repairmen came to deal with that the day we left. Repair people were courteous and timely. Thank you for an overall wonderful week!!

Beach & Pool Time Thank you for the wonderful accommodations at Sandpiper! This was our second time staying here and the place allowed for our families to enjoy some beach and pool time. We look forward to coming back!

Spacious Home Six couples shared the house. There was space for us to all be together, and also space to be alone if you wanted. The hot tub and heated pool were a real plus for the cooler weather.

Amaxong! Perfect place for a family getaway. The home was lovely, spacious and close to every thing in town for family fun. Rooms were comfortable, clean and a wonderful home away from home. With the beach just steps away also was amazing.

Wonderful Home in Great Location Nice, clean home located close to everything you would need for food, shopping, and entertainment. Had the heat turned on in the pool since it was in the 60s most of our trip and it was perfect. We were in the pool every day. Tons of beach gear and toys in the storage under the front stairs. Everything worked and was very clean. Hot tub was very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

The sandpiper feedback The beach house was nice and had everything we needed. Deck was a bit worn with some nails protruding. Screen doors were rusty. Also amenities at this location were plentiful. Storage space was a bit limited (kitchen) for food stuff The weather was terrible so we could not use the pool or deck or beach much but that has nothing to do with property We would come back

Thanksgiving 2021 WOW! Your home is beautiful! So inviting and warm. Our whole family and two fur babies had a great time. Our 1st Thanksgiving away from our home. So much room for everyone to have their own space. So well supplied! I have never seen such a well-supplied house: dishes, pans, ovens, dish washers, microwaves. Thanks Again!

Fabulous, Amazing We rented this house for a first ever whole family vacation!!! It was the best!!! The house was immaculate, and all amenities were there!!! Only a couple minor glitches!! We hope to come back in 2018!!!
