Excellent This is the 4th time we've stayed at Sand N Sea. It is perfect for our needs (2 couples). The kitchen is stocked with the basic equipment, the layout works well for us, the location is ideal. We did notice that there were a couple of mugs and a glass or two that had chips/cracks and the knives are really dull. Also the pillows are very flat; if this is not the type of pillow that you like I would recommend bringing your pillows from home. Those complaints are really very minor, as overall this condo is great!

A Comfortable Condo We had a lovely time at Sand N Sea; it was specious and roomy for the 4 of us. Bedrooms were spacious, and kitchen had all that we needed. The Diamond Shoals property in general was OK, but is definitely in need of some upgrades and upkeep. Wood is rotting, paint is peeling, etc. It would be a definite advantage if the steps over the dunes were extended to include a boardwalk and steps actually down to the beach. The steep incline from the top of the dune down to the beach was challenging to all of us, especially the one who has some ambulation issues. In looking down the beach, we noted that most properties do have steps which go the whole way down to the beach. We arrived to find the laundry doors to be off the tracks, and a bathroom light not working. These were quickly remedied by the maintenance staff, but we felt that housekeeping should have brought these issues to your attention so that they could be repaired before our arrival. In the living room, there were wires all over the place, going across the fireplace hearth towards the TV, and a big pile of wires on the floor in one corner. Generally, just a very messy look. We really also wanted for more light in the bedrooms. In my bedroom, for example, (double/queen bed) there was no overhead light. There was a nightstand on only one side of the bed, with a small lamp on it. The other side of the bed was not equipped with either a stand or a lamp. It would have been impossible for anyone to read in bed, as the light was so poor.<br /> We did have a very nice time, and especially appreciated the comfortable living room furniture, as well as the large dining room table. And the elevator was invaluable to us older folks, as well!

Everything was as expected. Excellent to have beach access directly from the condos!

Enjoyed our week Great condo. Few things need addressed: dryer needs attention, would not dry the clothes without running it 3 or 4 times. Also the internet glitched several times while watching a movie.

Excellent This was our second stay at diamond shoals. Both units were very spacious, well furnished and comfortable. Kitchens were well stocked. Large wrap around decks/balonies had good ocean views (3rd floor view a bit better than 2nd floor due to dunes). MBR had another deck with sunset views over the sound. Plenty of space for 3 couples (parking is for 2 cars). Central location for good access to all attractions from Corolla to Hatteras.

Great stay! We had an amazing time at this property! It was clean and so close to the beach. A little dated but that didn&rsquo;t matter to us.

Sand and Sea was much needed Loved this condo. The quiet location, beach access and overall calming atmosphere was much needed. Three bedrooms and two baths was perfect for our crew. The sunsets off the front balcony were just as beautiful as the sunrises off the back. Loved having two dedicated parking spots. Had maintenance a few times for things that needed fixing from previous visitors, but they were very courteous and we always had a phone call asking if it was a good time for them to come. Very well equipped....even had an ice cream scoop!!! The cook book selection was fun and we even made one of our dinners from the episcopal church recipe book!!!Thanks for letting us share your condo.

Excellent One day of rain and red flags most days but still had an awesome vacation. Did a lot of shopping and enjoyed great meals at the local restaurants. The condo was perfect for us. Very appreciative that it was so clean. Was a little taken aback by a guy wanting to replace the dishwasher at 5:00 on Friday. The dishwasher worked just fine. I had the forethought to not open the door. Not sure what that was about?? All in all a great time and will be back next September.

Excellent Comfortable furniture, well, equipped kitchen, everything kept up-to-date.

Perfect!! Unfortunately I never wrote in the owner&rsquo;s guest book, but wiyld like them to know that we loved their unit. It was spotless, well equipped, and nicely appointed. The fact that I could see and hear the ocean from the covered deck, made it perfect! Thank you , and hope to be back next year!

Great Condo! Very clean and well maintained unit. We spent a week here, just 2 of us, and we loved it. We had one very minor issue, which was taken care of almost immediately. This unit will be at the top of our list when we plan our next trip to the Outer Banks.

Very Good We really enjoyed the unit. We have stayed in the Diamond Shoals buildings for the past 4 or 5 years and enjoy the location (near all of our favorite spots) and view. We liked the updated appliances, carpet and some of the amenities. We had trouble with the living room tv, as we could not get live TV when trying to watch the Kentucky Derby. We worked around it though since we did not really spend much other time watching the tv. We did report that the dishwasher was leaking suds and water, and the shower head handle in the master shower was broken. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our time in the unit!

Excellent Sand N Sea was exactly what we wanted for our vacation. It was comfortable and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped and a good size. The Diamond Shoals complex is in a good location for us, a little away from the busy parts of Nags Head but close enough to easily get what we needed. The dunes and the beach are beautiful.

Very Good Great views and location to restaurants and just steps from the beach. The unit has all the amenities of home and was very clean and well kept.

Sand n Sea The unit was so well equipped. The beds are pillows were very nice....The outside closet was full of beach items, umbrella, chairs, boards, etc. We had a great time. Also, really enjoyed the albums the owners had put together on the Outer Banks. Would rent the space again. Thanks so much for such a clean and comfortable unit.

Perfect Beach Front Condo If you are looking for the perfect beach front condo perfectly located in South Nags Head (and within walking distance to the amazing FatBoyz Ice Cream), I would highly recommend staying at the Diamond Shoals complex. And this unit is among the best and made the vacation perfect.&nbsp;

Great unit Love this unit. Been staying for years. Love books, puzzles, DVDs. Very cozy snd homey with great ocean front view. Plan to be back next year.

Well-kept oceanfront condo Very nice 3BR oceanfront condo; lovely large deck. Well-stocked kitchen, comfortable living area &amp; MBR--just right for a quiet beach break.

Great Condo & Location The Sand N Sea condo has a great South Nags Head location near several excellent restaurants. The condo at Diamond Shores is a 5 star rating. The beach is nicer than some other parts of Nags Head.

Home from home Beautifully equipped condo set in a very quiet peaceful area. The kitchen had everything you need even a keurig! Lounge has panoramic views of the beach, very spacious deck to sit relax and watch the waves, best views to wake up to at morning as you drink your coffee. Extremely large spacious condo, with a huge master bathroom and dressing area. The pool is lovely and clean, I used it a few times despite us having rainy weather for a couple of days. I highly recommend this beautiful condo, to couples and definitely families . It has everything you need for a great beach week. We will be returning for sure

Very Good We love the condo we just wish it had ceiling fans in each room. Everything else was great.

Good Rental This condo was one of the better rentals that we have experienced in our past 17 years at OBX. Very clean and well kept.
