Perfect Location The proximity to the restaurants and retail shops was perfect. The house is perfectly situated on the oceanfront. We were easily able to walk out to the beach daily and enjoyed a bit of exclusivity on our evening walks. The interior of the home is clean. There was plenty of kitchen equipment to prepare our Nags Head meals. Rooms were spacious, bathrooms all were clean, spacious, and in great working order. It was very helpful to have 2 refrigerators and dishwashers. The washer and dryer worked great. We enjoyed the pool everyday after a long day at the beach. We were happy that the house provided a highchair. All in all, this was a perfect retreat for our family. We would stay there again, in fact, looking into that now!

Whalebone Station We enjoyed our stay at Whalebone Station. The only reason I don’t give it an excellent is the value. If you could see the house we stayed at in Hawaii for almost the same price, the quality of the houses does not even compare. If the house had been priced about $3000 less, I feel it would have been more reasonable. I suppose that’s a result of the economic laws of supply and demand. Otherwise, it’s a lovely house and our family had a great vacation. Thanks. Julie Lew

Fantastic house! We had a wonderful time. The house has space for everyone of all ages to do what they like. Well-stocked kitchen and ample seating for family meals. Great outdoor spaces including a screened porch, ocean-view deck and large pool. Kids loved the game room and having the ground level to themselves. Proximity to 7-11 and Taco Bell was convenient. Thank you so much!

Good The house is in a very good location. There is ample room for a lot of people. There was plenty of dishes and cookware to use. The beds were not very comfortable at all. Parking was difficult with house next door since they share a driveway. Overall the house was good.

This was a dream come true to have the whole family in the same house right by the beach! Resort Realty was very responsive to our initial questions and concerns upon arriving, and resolved the issues in a timely manner. Watching the sunrise and moonlight on the beach from the balcony was wonderful!

I would definitely rent this house again. My family had a wonderful vacation and the house is big enough for everyone to have their own space.

Wonderful family vacation home Whalebone station was everything we expected and more. It was comfortable and welcoming. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit. Excelsior house. Highly recommend.

Good Great location.

Whalebone Station Vacation Whalebone Station was a beautiful home. It was clean and well maintained. It had plenty of bedrooms with ample space for a large family to come together. It also allowed the space for family to also have privacy and a break from one another if needed. It had a beautiful view of the ocean and beach. The only complaint I have is that it was loaded with steps. So for someone with any type of disability, it may not be a good choice. Getting to the beach was a struggle for even those in the best of shape, but there was a public beach entry literally next to it. This was how we were able to get our disabled relative to and from the beach. Overall I would recommend this property to anyone.

Perfect Beach House Everything we could ask for for a family gathering. Everyone gets bedroom and bath space. Even two showers (hot and cold) by the pool. View is to die for. Could not ask for more.

Whalebone Station vacation We enjoyed our stay. The home was truly wonderful, everyone was comfortable, and had a very good time. Some of the TV cables were missing, but we reported that as soon as we noticed. Everything was just great
