Great Stay Kitchen was well stocked and it was nice to have the towels individually packaged for each guest. The house itself was very welcoming. It would have been nice if there were more amenities like bicycles, beach chairs, etc that were at the house to be used by guests, rather than needing to possibly rent them. More kitchen towels to do dishes is a suggestion as well. Other than that, great location and we had a great time.

This place has everything The house was clean and well stocked. Definitely a kid friendly place. Definitely coming back to this house again. The beach access is really close and a lot of stuff is in walking distance. The pool was wonderful and the ac works like a champ

Crosswinds Beach House Our family enjoyed this home for the week. It came fully loaded with all rooms having extra bedding, the kitchen had a good selection of pans and supplies. The game room and puzzles were a hit. We completed one and signed the box😀. Pool area and hammock were great. Hot tub was clean and in a good location. finally the home was very clean which was the best feature of all. Love the decorations all throughout. We’ll be back again when we stay in South Nags Head again.

Crosswinds -Provides the perfect vacation This was our 3rd year at Crosswinds and have reserved again for next years. Perfect location. We can enjoy a day at the beach and come back to a relaxing swim in the pool. Lots of restaurants nearby for all to enjoy.

Excellent Very nice house

Great House Our stay at Crosswinds was great. The house is located very close to a public beach access, but would recommend renting a beach cart if you take multiple chairs, beach toys, or a large cabana because the beach is very wide at the access point. The inside of the house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. Outside the pool was outstanding. The deck chairs were in great shape. The deck leading to the pool was compost wood so we didn't have to worry about splinters. However, the compost got very hot in the sunlight and there was not much shade over the pool area. The front decks were wood which was very weathered, and best enjoyed with shoes as to avoid splinters. Overall, it was a great house and we would reserve it again.

Loved our Family Time at Crosswinds I have been coming to OBX since the 70’s. I brought my family there in the early 90’s. For the past 2 years we have rented Crosswinds so my daughter, sister, my two nieces can cherish our family time and we have enjoyed every minute. Easy access to the beach and we love having the lifeguard close by. Coming back from a day at the beach we loved relaxing by the pool. Thank you for sharing your beach vacation home. It is creating memories that we will cherish forever.

Excellent Great location. Nice view of the ocean from the kitchen sink!! Home well stocked and VERY clean. Lots of fun amenities. Pool an extra treat for my grandson!

Excellent beach house! Crosswinds was a very wonderful beach house! It was very clean upon arrival, decorated so thoughtfully for being a beach house in the Outer Banks, and had every amenity we needed for a great week on vacation! We all would definitely return for another stay at the Crosswinds!

Very Good The games, hot tub, and pool were fantastic despite the weather. The kitchen was well stocked and the tv's in the bedrooms were a plus for the kids. The house is located close to the pier and the beach access. We will be renting again.

Great for Families This place was perfect for our family. Great access to the beach, shopping, pier, shopping and food. The gaming amenities were the perfect addition to end our days and have great family time. The new owners really put family at the forefront when upgrading as we stayed here 12 years ago. The only thing keeping it from being excellent were the beds, they were extremely hard and uncomfortable.

Crosswinds Loved the house! Salt water pool and access to the beach perfect! Resort Reality great to work with. I have been going to the Outer Banks for 36 years. This was one of my favorite houses that I have stayed in. Plenty of room. Heidi

My Crosswinds Home I would like to thank Resort Realty and the owners of Crosswinds Cottage for a most wonderful vacation! The week that we called Crosswinds "home" was one of the most relaxing weeks we have had in a long time! The cottage was meticulous, the accommodations were spectacular and the convenience to the beach, Jennette's Pier, great restaurants and shopping and all of the Outer Banks attractions got us hooked! We took advantage of having the hot tub and that was an added relaxation bonus! Coffee on the front deck watching the sunrise each morning and a glass of wine on the back deck watching the sun set was just incredible! The breeze reminded us of the aptly named cottage "Crosswinds". Additionally, we appreciate that the owner called the day after arrival to make sure that everything was "as it should be". Thank you so very much for a week that is and will always be a cherished memory for myself, my daughter and for her to remember the time with my grandchildren. We would like to come back again this year and look forward to making this a yearly tradition for our family. I will contact you this week to confirm a date for this year and again next spring!

Great, relaxing getaway Everything was wonderful. The house was clean and cozy. The kids loved the bunk beds. We all loved the hot tub in the screened in porch! Beds and furniture were very comfortable!

Excellent get away from reality Our family need an escape from reality and we lucked out with this house. It was in a great location and we had near perfect weather in October! My son was able to virtual school pretty well while down there with a few modifications on our end and with our overall group. The heated pool and hot tubs were a huge hit with my boys. I would suggest that the owner considers putting a king size bed in one of the bedrooms. My only criticism is that we should have stayed for two weeks!

Excellent This house was perfect for our family. We loved the layout of the house. All of the bedrooms, two of the bathrooms and laundry are on the same floor which is very convenient especially when you have younger kids with you. We loved that there were three decks. We could watch the ocean/sunrise in the front and sunset in the back. The kitchen, dining room and living room were very spacious with all the amenities of home. We loved the little den off the kitchen. Sometimes the little ones hung out there on their iPad if the teenagers were being too loud in the main living room. I was impressed with the size of the pool. There was plenty of seating around the pool for everyone. The hot tub was right off the living room area so it was nice to just hop in after dinner. The location was absolutely perfect. The walk to the beach was short and easy with no stairs. We brought a wagon for the little ones and never used it. We have had to use wagons in the past because the walk was too much for them. Jeannettes Pier is right by the house. We walked out there one night and took AMAZING sunset photos. The pier in the background also made nice beach photos. There is a 7 eleven right across the road to grab snacks, paper products, beach supplies, household items etc. I was shocked because I needed childrens Benadryl and they even carried that. Cahoons Market is a short walk which is a full sized grocery store that carries souvenirs and beach supplies as well. We had one question and one minor issue, so we emailed the realtor and had a response/resolution almost immediately. I sincerely give this house a 10/10 and we will definitely try to book this house again.

Best House on the Outer Banks!!!! This is the second time we have rented Crosswinds and both times have been outstanding. The owner, again this year, called to ensure our arrival met with our expectations. It may sound funny but just staying one week a year - it really felt like we were coming home. This house just has a friendly feel. I am willing to change my vacation week in order to get this house. The beach access is great since you don't even have stairs to get to the ocean if you want to take a wagon or stroller. I can't say enough good things about Crosswinds, the owner of Crosswinds and Resort Realty.

Clean, well-stocked and inviting Upon arrival our vacation was off to a great stay . . . . The house was clean, well-stocked and inviting. I worked from the kitchen table with wireless internet while enjoying the Keurig coffee maker. The pool was relaxing during the day and the top level screened in hot tub was the way to end the day. The view of the sunset was beautiful. Other enjoyable moments were sitting on the top floor front deck and quick trips to the beach and Jennette’s Pier. For our family size, Crosswinds was a great selection and recommendation for future stays. This area of Nags Head is nearly a self-contained resort area.

Crosswinds Everything with this house as FANTASTIC! This was one of our favorites. Location to Ocean was great!!

Crosswinds Just to elaborate a little on my previous review - This house is amazing. It is very well stocked in the kitchen, we found everything we could possibly need for the week. The webber charcoal grill made the best steaks we have had in a long time. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The hot-tub on the screened-in porch was nice because even if it rained in the evening the children could still play in water. The walk to the beach is great because there are no stairs so a stroller - beach wagon, etc. is no problem at all. The owner of the house even called us during the week to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. That's NEVER happened before and I it was so thoughtful. It was also very nice to have the washer/dryer right near the bedrooms. Thanks so much for allowing us to use your home for the week, and that's what it felt like, a home - not just a beach cottage. LOVED IT!!!!

Total Package! I had the pleasure of staying at Crosswinds and it far exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail in the cottage, and the extras like TV's, internet, pool and hot tub, make it like a home away from home. The location is excellent with both sound and ocean views, and many favorite places within walking distance. The sunrise and sunset with endless breezes all in one location...ahhh .

Amazing Views in Comfortable Home I've been coming to Nags Head for almost 40 years and this home is 1 of the best we've stayed. Comfy, clean, updated and fully stocked. The breeze is so relaxing coming from the ocean and sound. These new owners made sure every need is met. Phenomenal and would highly recommend.

Wonderful My company rented Crosswinds for a work retreat. We were very excited when we received our welcoming phone call from the home owner. The keyless entry meant we could easily let everyone have access to the house during the week. Not many properties in Nags Head give you both a sunrise and sunset. Besides the amenities offered at Crosswinds this house screams LOCATION. You can walk to the beach, pier, 7-11, grocery store, ice cream, and about 8 restaurants in ten minutes. I look forward to returning to Crosswinds in the future with my family for vacation.
