Very nice vacation!!! DL302, Jarvis is a perfect vacation home. We’ve stayed there twice before, and have stayed at three other Dune Lantern Properties. Dune Lantern condos are perfect for relaxing, with two living areas which allow people to watch TV or talk and others to sit in the other area where it is quieter. The view can’t be beat here, and we spent lots of time on the balcony. The beds and other furniture are very comfortable, and the kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. The use of a “Smart TV” was great, and we were able to log into our Netflix account, and also watch local TV on the Spectrum feed. We will return and highly recommend Jarvis!!!!

Awesome vacation The condo is very nice. Open concept. View of ocean was the best. You could sit and see the whole beach...we loved it.. our only problem was the lack of a walk in shower. My husband is handicapped. We tried the outdoor shower but it has alot of sand in it and cold water...a recliner would be great...but all in all, it was a wonderful stay at the condo. Thank you to the owners for sharing it.

Condo was amazing twin beds hard as rocks We loved everything about this condo except the twin beds were hard as rocks and very uncomfortable. The new kitchen looks amazing. Showers could use updating but overall well maintained and clean.

Fabulous place to stay! Great place to stay! We really enjoyed having everything right on the beach.The ad for the place washinest and detailed and let me know exactly what we were getting. I have somewhat limited physical mobility and the elevator and beach access with shower we're really helpful for me. They made my stay much easier. Thank you!

What a View! The view! The view! The view! You can't find a better view of the ocean than is provided by this condo. My wife and I have stayed at Jarvis several times now and besides the view we like the fact that it is so conveniently located to many of our favorite restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, and ice cream joints. The walking/biking path is so enjoyable and extends for miles both to the North and to the South. Jeanettes Pier is a short walk away as is Sam & Omie's, Owens, Fat Boyz, Booty Treats, and our new favorite ice cream joint Cookies & Cream. The condo itself is not fancy but it has all the amenities needed for a most enjoyable stay. The king bed is very comfortable and there is nothing like waking up in the morning to the sound of the ocean and the view of the rising sun. I don't believe that you can find a condo with a better view at a reasonable price for a smaller group with such a convenient location. We'll most certainly be coming back to Jarvis again!

Lovely Stay This was our second time to stay in this lovely condo. The view can't be topped and we enjoyed many hours relaxing on the balcony. It was so convenient to arrive and have the beds made and towels available to us. The furnishings, including beds, are very comfortable and well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again.

Jarvis 5693 TV and internet access all worked well. Place was clean and kitchen well stocked. One area for improvement would be to have lights in the bedrooms that came on with the wall switch. Main bedroom did not have lights on night stand or chest of drawers. With those improvements rating would be excellent.

Just Right We have stayed at Dune Lantern a few times and appreciate the convenience to the beach, the elevator, groceries and Jennettes Pier. We love that linens and towels are included and having laundry available. Everything is there to cook and eat in. Some upgrades might be nice. The bathroom sink and tub faucets could use some repair or replacement. The patio doors were hard to open and close so maybe replacements would be nice. All in all it is very comfortable and a great place for us. We will be coming back to Jarvis.

Excellent Really nice place with a great view. Had a great time. Like the fact all linens are provided and the fact there is an elevator.

Good Have been staying at same unit, same weeks for 19 years. Like place and location. Glad to see some new furniture and appliances. Especially bedroom and porch cushions. King bed new and had problems keeping sheets on. Would really like to see new sofa in room with TV. Old and sunken. Been there for years. Has all extras you need. Will return next year if all goes well and no big rent increase

Very Good This property is exactly as advertised. It is like having another home. We have rented this property several times and enjoyed every minute. The only item that is of concern is the sofa in the den. It is showing its age and may need replaced. We shall be renting this in the near future. .

Great Vacation Spot Right on the Ocean This condo is centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go. It had beautiful views of the ocean from all rooms, except the extra bedroom. The kitchen had all the essentials we needed. It was such an easy walk to the beach, and the beach was very clean with beautiful waves. The lifeguards were on the beach every day and very attentive to the swimmers. I would highly recommend this location and condo for a vacation.

It was great! Jarvis was a great experience. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, in great shape. The condo was clean and everything was in working order. Thanks Jarvis, for a wonderful spring week at OBX. I would certainly want to return. Lois

Great Place to Stay We tried to stay at Jarvis twice in the past but both times interrupted by storms. This trip was wonderful. This condo is homey and very well kept. It has a wonderful view from the balcony and a nice place to eat, read and just relax. It it so nice to just walk out to the beach. The elevator is a blessing too. We will be back next year to this great place.

First time to Jarvis Absolutely loved it, hope to rent it again.

Lovely oceanfront condo We had a wonderful week in the Jarvis condo, in spite of several days of rain. The condo is so comfortable, that staying indoors wasn't a disappointment, and we still had the lovely ocean view. The condo is beautifully decorated and well maintained. Furniture, including the sofas and king bed are very comfortable. This condo has perhaps, the best equipped kitchen of any I've stayed in, which was especially helpful this time, since we did more cooking in and ordering in, due to COVID-19. We really like that the Dune Lantern condos have two living areas, one on the ocean side, and the other, street side. This is nice when one person may want to watch TV, while another prefers having a quiet area to read. And speaking of reading, the owners have provided a huge assortment of books, arranged by type, which we enjoyed. There are also lots of games, playing cards and puzzles for passing the time on rainy beach days. We would definitely stay in this condo again!

Favorite! This is my third time staying at Dune Lantern Condos My second time in Jarvis. It is decorated tastefully(although sofa where tv is could use a little upgrade). The balcony is wonderful. Allows you to enjoy the beach even if not on the beach. Kitchen also has everything you need. Will definitely return- look forward to it all year long !
