View of the Dune The brown pelican has a nice expansive lot and good location in south nags head. The ocean is partially obscured by the high dune and a bit of a trek to get up and over and back down to the beach. Great pool to relax and fairly nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen is a bit snug. The downstairs piano area is not really useful. Otherwise, comfortable and decent place to enjoy a retreat.

Great Family Vacation The location is unbeatable, right on the ocean front, providing breathtaking views and easy access to the beach. Watching the sun rising over the water was a daily highlight. The amenities were good with a nicely maintained heated pool that was a favorite of all. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and the living area provided a cozy spot to gather after a day of sun. Great walking area and golf across the street. It is a great place to create lasting family memories.

Great stay We loved the house and the location; everyone also really enjoyed having the pool and the hot tub. The pool was very clean, and someone came mid-week to clean it again. The air conditioning in the uppermost master bedroom seems to have not been working 100% correctly, but we used a small fan, which helped. We also cleaned off the beach access stairs a little, but that wasn't a big deal (sand is to be expected at the beach, after all!). Overall, though, we loved the house and would definitely stay there again in the future.

Enjoyable Unit was clean when we arrived. Nicely furnished and kitchen well stocked, but desperately needs a garbage disposal in sink. Directions on how to use TV remotes would have been nice. Carpeting on stairs starting to fray. Great location and the view of the ocean from third floor terrific.

Nice Hot Tub The new hot tub is fantastic. Heating the pool was great to have for an early season rental.
