Family friendly house Pros: This house is super close to the public beach access, has 3 bikes, and comes with access to the pool and pickle ball courts, also very close. We cooked 5 nights and the kitchen was well equipped for what we needed. Food Lion, Fresh Market, and Dollar Tree are about 2 miles away. House had a pack-n-play, high chair, games, and books. LOVED all the seating, natural light, and space upstairs! Cons: another bathroom would’ve been nice (has 2.5 but one is connected to the master so the other three bedrooms shared one bathroom). Close to the highway so when outside, you really hear the traffic, but inside was pretty quiet. Hard to find and reach outlets by the bed for charging phones on nightstands (suggestion-a lamp with a built in charger on the nightstand.) Master bedroom bed (specifically the boxspring or frame) was VERY squeaky-I awoke every time my husband turned or moved. The house was ok clean but hair was on the bathroom floors; however I got a text to rate the cleanliness and they called afterwards to offer to come back and make it right, so I appreciate that! None of the cons were deal breakers; I’d stay here again!

Enjoyed the stay well kept house and easy walk to the beach and beach club

July 12 - 19 Stay My family and I had a great week at this property again this year. This house is in such a great location with access to the beach and to other walking and biking locations. We are already talking about hoping to return again next year to this house if we can agree on a week and have it be available. The only downside this year were the jelly fish that decided to visit the water most of the past week. Thank you.

Very Good This was our second time staying at Sandy Pause. It is a lovely home with great proximity to the beach. We were very happy to learn of the addition this year of linens/towels as this freed up space for bringing back treasures. The only real complaint I have is lack of lighting in the outside shower. We love using it after a long day at the beach but it is so dark in there to see what you are doing. So I went to dollar tree and bought a couple small battery-operated lights for our use and it did the trick. We hope to stay again next year. Thank you for providing a very nice place to enjoy ourselves

Very Good House was clean and presentable.Plenty of room.Quick walk to beach with public entrance. Bonus parking lot (if you prefer to drive) with bathrooms and outdoor rinse off stations.

Nice, comfortable house close to everything We enjoyed our time at Sandy Pause! And we will book again. Close to the pool and snack bar and basically everything else my family likes to do.

Great Location The house came well equipped and was about a 3 minute walk to the beach. There is also an ocean front pool in walkable distance as well. House had everything we needed for our two families and plenty of room. Beds/pillows were a little uncomfortable, but was fine for a week.

Great home! Beautifully kept home! Perfect for our families vacation. Great walking distance to both the beach and beach club amenities. We did not have to worry about loading the kids in and out of cars which is a blessing!

Great home - Great week! Home is bright, open, beautifully decorated and fully equipped. Our family enjoyed the bikes provided by the owners as well as the horseshoe pit and basketball. Direct beach access, great decks - loved the rockers and the swing. Lots of games, books, movies & puzzles. We had a great vacation and will definitely rebook.
