Favorite Vacation Spot This was our 13th stay in Dancing Dunes. It is definitely our go to place in NagsHead. The location can’t be beat. It is a beautiful condo: very clean, with a large well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and is oceanfront.<br /> We rent it from Resort Realty. They are very accommodating if we need anything. We definitely will be back to make it our 14th stay.
Nice place Beautiful place! The master bedroom shower needs a new door and some leaking spots on the ceiling need repair. Also needs another chair in living room. There is only seating for 5. The kitchen sink is very pretty but extremely hard to rinse food down.
Our Favorite Getaway Dancing Dunes is the new name for 101 N Heron Cove. We have stayed here 12 times!!!( in this same unit). It is an outstanding condo. Great location in NagsHead. The unit is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has absolutely everything that you need. Staying here offers comfort and relaxation. A gem of a rental. The unit is awesome and Resort Realty is very accommodating. Their service is stellar.
Well Maintained We stayed at this condo last year. We did notice that it was in very good condition. All of the bed coverings look new. It is a beautiful place. The descale light was lit on the Keurig coffee maker, so it could not be used.There was a Mr. Coffee also, so it wasn't a problem. Please leave detailed instructions for the TVs. Some have several remotes. It gets very frustrating. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to visit again.
Excellent What a perfect condo ! We had so much fun and it was the best surprise when our “little” condo we rented turned out to be so large !! All three bedrooms have their own bathroom with the bunk room (twin over full size bed ) having their own bathroom full hall bath . The ocean facing deck does have a restricted view of the ocean due to the dune you could still hear the waves as they roll onto the beach !
A Place to Relax in NagsHead 101N Heron Cove has been our go to vacation spot in NagsHead for years now. We rent it twice a year and feel that it is the perfect accommodation: updated fully appointed kitchen with dishes, appliances, etc. Love the vinyl flooring. The view from the living room is great: pool area is crystal clear with the dunes and sea oats. We drive 10+ hours to get to NagsHead and when we settle in to this Heron Cove condo we know the long ride was totally worth it.
Great First Impression Although we have vacationed in the Outer Banks for almost 40 years, this was our first stay in this unit. It was well maintained and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked, which is definitely a plus. A lot of puzzles and books in the unit as well. We enjoyed our vacation very much and hope to stay here again.
Words cannot express the memories that flooded back to me! All good! I've been visiting the Outer Banks since I was two (68 years/33 vacations!) I felt compelled to visit one more time and share the beach life with my friends. It was a chilly week, but we had a blast in our oceanfront condo! As always, the wild horses were the BEST!
A great beach getaway Absolutely loved this condo. It was so spacious and clean and the perfect spot to take our daughter for her first beach trip.

Heron Cove 101N Wonderful condo on the first floor, end unit. Super quiet even with people above and beside us. Decorated nicely. Beds were super comfortable. Had everything you would need to enjoy. We would definitely rent again.

Love ❤️ the condo Everything about the condo was great. It was stocked very well. Big and right on beach and pool. I will be back next year. The only thing I would change if I could would be the towels. They are cheaper than the cheapest hotel offers. It was a great stay. We were there for a week. All stores are close by.

Outstanding 101N Heron Cove is our favorite place to stay in NagsHead. We have stayed there about 5 times. It has been renovated and the kitchen is awesome. It is a very well equipped kitchen. We return every May and September and have recently extended our stay to 2 weeks every time. The location of Heron Cove is excellent: oceanfront, near shopping, and has a lovely pool.

Excellent vacation accommodations Very comfortable, bright and spacious. Fully equipped kitchen; recently remodeled. Easy access to parking, pool and ocean. Our family stayed in this unit in Heron Cove 5 times in the last 2 years and plan to continue staying here in the future. Makes for a great family vacation!

Beautiful Condo Spacious. Condo Renovations are outstanding. Improvements are very good throughout the property. Location is excellent. Covered parking is available. Pool is on the property. We have stayed here 3 times and have reservations for 2 more times.
Very nice condo with lots of space We loved this condo. Lots of room and very comfortable. Deck was nice and I loved the fact that there were two. One facing the ocean and one connecting the two bedrooms in front of the building. Kitchen was large and plenty of space for our group of 7 to eat and cook together. Overall the property is nice but if you want ocean view, you really don't get that. It's on the first floor which is nice but dunes cover most of the ocean view. Wasn't a huge deal for us because we spend most of our time at the beach/pool/out and about. Pool was nice and cleaned every morning. There were no umbrellas for the tables which was strange. Beach area is great and wasn't crowded at all. Easy to get a spot and not packed with people. Convenient to grocery store and Duck Donuts. Overall a very nice place to stay.
Vacation 2019 Awesome
Wonderful vacation! The condo was just as described, and then some. It was spacious, clean, and stocked with everything we needed for the week. Our location overlooking the beautiful pool area was perfect. This was myself and my four grown children. We had a great week.
Cozy, clean and right on the beach! From the first contact through the Home Away app to our texts and phone conversations with the property owner it was a smooth, seamless process. Exactly as described in the listing and photos, although the condo was larger in person. The unit was very spacious and roomy and CLEAN! Nice homey touches made our Family Thanksgiving Holiday very memorable.
Great Property Owner While the weather didn't cooperate like we would have liked, we couldn't have asked for a more attentive property owner. No one can control the weather! The couch and master bed were especially comfortable.
Great location The condo is spacious and met our needs. The location is close to stores and restaurants. We were disappointed that the pool was closed. That was one of the reasons for choosing this property.

Back Again We had stayed in this condo at Heron Cove in September, 2020. We came back to Heron Cove again in October. And we have Heron Cove reservations for September 2021. The location of this property is perfect: beachfront, pool, clean grounds, and very restful/quiet. We rented through Resort Realty and found this agency very accommodating. Can’t wait to see the Outer Banks once again and stay in Heron Cove.
