“Love This House We've been vacationing in the Outer Banks for over 15 years. As time has passed our family has slowly grown and 2-3 bedroom condos just don't cut it anymore. Shell Cottage was a great option. It is definitely more expensive than a condo, but you get a private house with a pool and you are right on the beach. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The owner even sent a cute thank you basket at the beginning of the week. So sweet and thoughtful! Unfortunately, we had a tropical storm impact our stay with rain and high winds all week. The beach was red flagged with no swimming. The cottage is right in the heart of OBX so we filled out time with food, ice cream, go carts and shopping. Best places to eat: Red Drum, Tortuga's, Mulligan's and Kill Devils (BEACH FRIES and Custard). We hope to visit again soon!”
