Great house and location Spacious house that accommodated our large group and a great location. House overall could have used some updates and some extra kitchen items as we ran into not having enough coffee cups for everyone but Really loved having the two ice maker machines! Overall great house and would stay again! We ran into no major issues during our stay!

Family Vacation Beach house!!

Excellent We had a great time in OBX! The Stars was a very nice house. Some features need updating, but all in all it was a great place. Everyone really enjoyed the large showers with dual shower heads. The location was awesome- close to the piers for the guys to fish and close to grocery and other stores. We would definitely stay here again!

The Stars Aligned! Excellent location, very clean house and absolutely professional service when it comes to check in and check out process. Company is responsive and the house was an excellent shape. Very happy we stayed here and will most likely come back again.

Great Family Vacation Let me start off by saying this was our first trip to the Outer Banks, and we had an awesome vacation, all 23 of us. The Stars house in all has a great layout and location was perfect. There were some things that needed immediate attention when we got there; like broken shower door, septic issues - so we reached out to maintenance and they responded right away. Very prompt with solving our problems. The house itself could use a little attention in general. It is an older home and we knew that when we booked, but so simple things could really make it a real winner. Like update the railing or repaint them and pull some weeds around the pool. Add some nicer outdoor furniture or even upgrade the couches or kitchen utensils. The kitchen's layout works perfectly for large gatherings, we used it frequently, but some nicer cookware and utensils would be great. Just having a few staple items would be nice to start your week off, there was no soap or cleaning supplies at all. We even had to buy hand towels for the kitchen and bathroom; that was a surprise. I thought that would just be standard in the towel package to supply for the kitchen area and 1/2 baths. In all we had a great week, having Booty Treats right across the street was greats and Food Lion was really just down the street. Again, such a perfect location. The staff at Resort Realty were very helpful and maintenance was very attenuative to our needs.

Our Week at The Stars 7/15-7/22, 2023 The Stars gives all the room you need for a large group. The 12 bedrooms are roomy. The kitchen is open and airy, while the dining room table accommodates a slew of people. With 2 dishwashers, the dishes are easily loaded and kept clean. Close to food, coffee, ice cream and the beach and fun, it was an overall great place to stay . There are a few items we had issues with, the sliding doors stuck on the 1st and second floors, but maintenance came and replaced the locks and that issue was resolved quickly. Same with the shower door that came off the rails, maintenance to the rescue again. our biggest concerns or "complaints" were the lack of maintenance on the outside with the wood needing to be updated with paint, or the carpets should be replaced or removed as they were stained. The outdoor wooden chairs were rotted looking, so we did not use. The lights at the pool need to be updated as they do not provide much light, and there should be lights at the boardwalk/deck walking to the beach. We had one person trip due to no lights, and needed stiches, so we made sure to have extra flashlights and nailed some raised nails down the next day. overall, we had the BEST week and would go back again !

Spacious home. Comfortable beds. Home needs some updates but we would rent here again. Proximity to food store, ice cream, restaurants were unbeatable.

Right on the beach is where you want to be We knew The Stars was an older house and it definitely needs some maintenance and updates, but our family wanted to be right on the beach with a pool, and this house was the most affordable (we looked). It was old school Nags Head and the location was perfect -- right across the street from an ice cream stand and two blocks from a grocery store. The house was clean and functional. There were a few hiccups with the a/c and plumbing, but everyone had a great time. The ocean was beautiful and the weather was perfect.
