Virginia Dare Eval Wonderful time, beautiful house. Maintenance responded to our request to fix the freezer right away. They looked at the stove, but the two front burners continued to be the only two that worked, which was not a problem for us.<br /> The lounge chairs by the pool were somewhat uncomfortable and could benefit from Cushions and the two chairs on the small porch facing the street it would be nice if they were higher so you could see over the railing. Excellent week! Thank you!!!
wonderful place This rental house has everything needed for a family reunion. I am glad we used it.
Our family of 10 enjoyed spring break at the house with plenty of space and amenities to keep everyone happy. Would definitely stay here again.

Friends Week Virginia Dare accommodations are the best for our annual fun-filled friends week in Nags Head and weather was the best ever!
Excellent Incredible. We had our four children, spouses and six grandchildren. The house had everything listed. The location was ideal. If you are planning a trip to the Outer Banks this is the only place to stay.
Excellent Great house with all the amenities. Our grill was promptly replaced when needed. The only minor drawback I can think of was a can opener, which we tried to buy but could not find in the local stores. Overall the staff were great to get what we needed. Check out day was the easiest I have ever had, after several years going to other beaches.
Beach Vacation Perfect accommodations for a fantastic fun-filled week.
Making Memories Virginia Dare was a perfect place for friends to gather annually. Although the weather didn’t cooperate we did not let it dampen our fun! The home was well equipped and accommodating.

Spectacular Multi family vacation This was our first time to the OBX and we couldn’t have picked a better house or town! Virginia Dare was perfectly positioned by the beach, walking distance to ice cream, morning coffee and the grocery store. It was also good to be next to a vacant lot for more privacy. The house was up to date, clean and organized for a great week! We would highly recommend visiting here.
Amazing house, perfect for large groups We really enjoyed our stay at Virginia Dare. We had 16 people (and a toddler) in the home and it never felt crowded at all. The house was well taken care of, clean and had everything we needed. We did have the pool heated (last week of March) and we’re surprised at how warm the pool was able to stay even though 3 days in the middle of our stay were chilly (50’s). The hot tub was well used (though we wish it had been closer to the house), as was the theater room for our teenage boys. The only things we would have changed or wish were different (but definitely not a deal breaker for us): • the home needed hooks for towels! There were none in the rooms or bathrooms, or the basement, where you enter from the pool. Wr did buy some 3M removable plastic hooks and placed them in some of the rooms to hang our towels. I’d suggest the owners add permanent hooks in some places- bathrooms, back of doors at the minimum. The hallway in the basement would be great for those coming in from pool too! • we wish there were stairs to the pool area from the 2nd and 3rd floor decks. It was kind of annoying to have to go walk all the way through the house, back down the stairs and then all through the 1st floor to go to the pool area. And the only way to access the 2nd floor deck area, which was so nice but ended up being underutilized, is from the bedrooms. • the hot tub felt really out of place out by the gate to the ocean and not near the house. On chilly nights, no one really wanted to traipse through the yard and around the pool to the hot tub. Again, none of these suggestions affected the quality of the house. It really was well taken care of, beautiful and we would highly recommend!
Great home in a great location We had 6 adults and 5 kids staying for a week at Virginia Dare. Everyone had a great time. The heated pool and hot tub were in regular rotation. The theater room was comfortable with a great sound system. The kitchen had enough equipment for us to cook some fairly extensive meals. Plenty of seating was available in the living and dining rooms. The direct beach access was super convenient. There were a ton of restaurants and stores within walking distance. We ended up ordering from Single Fin and Front Porch Cafe multiple times. The beds were comfortable and there was a TV in every room, so nobody had to compete for what to watch. There were a couple really minor issues that should be addressed, but we loved the home. We'd definitely stay at Virginia Dare again.

Excellent Great house. Our 3rd year of renting it. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. Love the lounge chairs in the nook. Location is perfect for running to the grocery store. Pool is awesome. Hope to be back again to enjoy another year.
Great house Virginia Dare is a great house for a large group who like to have fun. Whether it is hanging out in the pool or hot tub, or staying indoors to play pool, packman or shuffleboard there is something for everyone.
Great Property and Great Management We were very impressed with Virginia Dare. For starters the property management company was easy to work with and friendly; a welcome change from others with whom we've dealt. The property itself was well appointed with everything from blenders to beach chairs. The house was impeccably clean. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room to eat, to watch TV, to hang out at the pool. The beachside service was a huge hit with this group; don't know if we could go without it again. This was our first time in Nags Head. The area was a winner! I can honestly say I prefer it to other areas of OBX and other NC beaches. It will probably be our go to from now own. We had one small work order that needed to be issued while we were at Virginia Dare. It was put in and promptly remedied. We can't stay enough good things and will check out Resort Realty before anywhere else for our future vacations.
Absolutely Fantastic! The house was absolutelty fantastic! It was able to meet our needs on every level! The interior was great. I really loved the modern designs and layouts. Colors were vibrant and gave the house a very modern appeal. The kitchen was the best!

Beautiful and very clean It is a beautiful home and was very clean.The kitchen was stocked with all our needs. Loved the cabana service too. We would love to come back to this home and would hope a few of the issues we reported would be resolved a year from now. I would like to continue renting from Resort Realty and I will hold this house for next year. (Would like to acknowledge Kay at Resort Realty, (who is a real sweetie pie) and Gary for taking care of our recycle problem. Also would like to acknowledge Lisa for taking care of the WiFi issue and sending a refund for overages to our phones.)
