Outstanding We have been coming to the Outer Banks for the last 35 years. WeekAway was the most well equipped house we have ever stayed in. Great views and proximity to the beach.Rooms and furniture were all large and extremely comfortable. We had an issue with the Living Room TV and Resort Realty took care of it right away. A special thanks to Scott from your maintenance department who spent almost his whole Sunday morning getting the TV up and running. We hope to stay at WeekAway again next year and more years to come.

Very Good The view from the top level is beautiful and the house is set up nicely with all amenities that you could need. A couple of the showers on the 2nd level drained slowly; however, we didn’t ask maintenance to address it. If we had, I’m sure it would have been taken care of. The walk back up from the beach is steep, which can be difficult. Our group ranged in age from 49 to 71 and the older ones were not able to manage it. Outside of that, this was one of the best homes we’ve rented in the over 25 years we’ve been coming to the area. Resort Realty was very easy to work with and having the linen package included in the price was a great bonus!

WeekAway review This was our 2nd year staying at WeekAway. We love the beach house! Great views, spacious rooms and living/kitchen areas. Convenient area, close to places we frequent. We will be staying there again next year - 2027. No complaints about the appliances, all were in working order. We did have some plumbing issues with the drain on one of the showers, but I called and the problem was taken care of promptly.<br /> <br /> One issue concerning the steps to the beach. The bottom part is covered with sand (I think because of the beach replenish project) and it created a brutal hill and climb up the steps coming back from the beach. Very difficult for the senior members in our group (also tough for the young ones!). Recommend that the bottom part should be cleared or at least reduced to create an easier way.<br /> <br /> Overall, a great beach house and highly recommend!

Weekaway Vacation house This property was great. It literally had tons of amenities available to make the stay as comfortable as possible. We had a very large family and It fit us all perfectly. Thanks for the stay!

Weekaway - our happy place!!! We spent a wonderful week at Weekaway! It's not just a beach house - it's a beach home. When we arrived at Weekaway, we immediately felt like we were home and were able to completely relax. It is readily apparent that this house is loved by it's owners and well taken care of. Weekaway is centrally located and we were able to get to our favorite shops and restaurants in minutes. This was our second year to stay at this house and it will not be our last!

Favorite Beach House!!! This was our first time staying at WeekAway but it won&rsquo;t be our last! This house had everything we needed and more. Fully stocked kitchen, seriously, crockpots, blenders, nice pots and pans, Tupperware, more than enough plates and utensils, dish towels, pot holders and more. If you need it, its in the kitchen. The ice maker at the wet bar was probably one of the best features in the house. The bedrooms are big, comfy beds and room to spread out. Everyone had space to separate and relax if needed, we weren&rsquo;t all crammed on top of each other. You could tell the top deck has all recently been redone, hoping the crows nest and steps to the beach get redone too as that would be our only complaint. The steps and crows nest had some loose steps and a missing board, part of being oceanfront, the wood is going to take a beating so we understood, but would definitely recommend updating that area as well at some time. We loved the location, close proximity to everything and BrewThru, 7Eleven and Austin Seafood right across the street. We look forward to renting WeekAway again for next year!!

Wonderful stay Wonderful house with a great view of the ocean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed.

Nice spot We arrived in the OBX around 3:30 on check in day and I got the text by 4:00 or so that the property was ready. Check in was seamless and the code worked no problem. The property was clean and well kept for the most part. It is an older home but the updates in the kitchen and bathrooms are great. The back deck is brand new and I believe they are in the process of also replacing the beach deck, which is usable, just weathered. I had to call maintenance the first gay as the master bath was not draining properly, they responded within a couple of hours and had it fixed with no further issue. (Said there were seashells in the drain) Bedrooms were clean, spacious and all had TV's. One question I did have was the listing said 4.5 baths and there was only 3.5 . Not a major issues at all but just for accuracy purposes. The living room was comfortable and although we didn't really use the lower game room, it was available including an extra fridge. The wet bar was a great feature as well. The hot tub was clean and serviced on Wednesday as advertised. The only two things I will mention as they are small was the top sliding screen door was pretty much unusable as it seems corroded and older. I think being so early in the season, it should definitely be replaced. The outdoor shower was great but needs a new shower head as again it seemed corroded and didn't work. (Just used without) The location is great, Austins, Brew Thru and 7-11 all across the street and a great view of the dunes. The oceanfront was great also... my only suggestion would be some Hi-top chairs and a table for the top deck. The Adirondack chairs are great but seat you very low with a view of the deck railing... minor inconvenience.

Beautiful home with great beach view We had a great weekend, weather was too cold to enjoy the beach but the view from living room was great and enjoyed the hot tub!

Perfect House! The location of Week Away was great with great views of the ocean. The house had a great layout, the beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean. We liked the open layout of the top floor, the furniture was comfortable, and the kitchen was great and had everything needed. The master rain shower was the best! It was evident that the owners took a lot of pride in this home and we would definitely return.

Very Good Another enjoyable visit to Week Away!!

Very Good We enjoyed our stay @ &quot;Week Away&quot;--very nice cottage for our large family annual vacation, everyone loved it! The BEST equipped cottage we have ever stayed in the past 30+ years--everything anyone would ever need!! Clean, well furnished place!! Only negative comment is that I am a recent new amputee and all the stairs made it very difficult for me. Back porch needs new paint job which I do understand is in their near future plans. Really enjoyed the front deck!!

Wonderful Vacation This was our second stay at WeekAway! It was a wonderful trip! We love the location of the home, hammocks and swing on the deck, and layout of the house. Thanks for sharing your home!

Excellent i booked this house for 4 weeks and had various family members coming and going. everybody enjoyed the easy access to the beach and relaxing on the dune deck. during bad weather we could sit at the table playing games and watching the waves.

You can have a great WeekAway Rent this property! Well cared for, upgraded bathrooms and updated appliances. It has a great location in Nags Head. Convenient to a lot of things. The beach is not busy in this area because you don&rsquo;t have houses across the street coming to your area. This house is very homey. Very comfortable. The hammocks on the front decks are fun to relax in. The master bath upgrade is amazing. The kitchen is stocked with about every thing you need. Plenty of ice makers too. That&rsquo;s important for your coolers on the beach. Rent this house, lay back and relax. You won&rsquo;t regret it.

Week Away We really enjoyed our stay there!

Home away from home This was my 14th year renting WeekAway. I have considered other homes because sometimes this is more house than I need for the number of us vacationing, but it just seems like home. The front decks have hammocks for napping and the back deck and dune deck provide a serene place to view the ocean, dolphins, pelicans and other sights. The owners take on a project to update the house about every other year. This year there was new furniture in the bedrooms. Kitchen and baths have been upgraded. The living area on the 3rd floor is light and spacious and just plain comfortable. Modern appliances, an ice maker, and a fully outfitted kitchen make meal and drinks prep easy. Bedrooms are also a good size, as are the bathrooms - and the master bath shower is nearly room size. The house does not have an elevator or dumbwaiter, so be prepared for steps, but each flight is broken by a landing. There are also a washer, drier, and refrigerator at ground level that come in very handy. As soon as I hit the driveway, I feel like I&#39;m at my home away from home and can hardly wait to get inside and have the relaxing begin!

Nicest House We've Stayed In Nicest house we've stayed at in the 3 years we've come to the Outer Banks! Bathroom renovations were great! Very well stocked kitchen! Loved having all of the beach chairs available!

Repeat Renter The new updated bathrooms looked great. We have stayed at this property twice and would considered staying in the future. Plus, the entire staff was curtious and friendly each time we called.
