Excellent What a great house! It had everything we needed

Great Week! The house was phenomenal. The family felt it was the best beach house we had over the past five years. I liked the location along the Nags Nead strip too.

Great Vacation! The house was bigger than imagined and was perfect for our clan! It was clean and beautifully decorated. Would highly recommend!

Very Good Everything was clean and very well taken care of. My only concerns were the dullness of the knives and lack of adequate kitchen storage containers. Also, the main kitchen refrigerator had no handle to open the freezer drawer. I notified maintenance on Sunday. On Friday I notified them again and surprisingly maintenance was there within 20 minutes to fix it. I was told that parts were just received. Overall I was pleased and would not hesitate to rent again.

Gorgeous place for beach group gatherings! 10 women, 9 bedrooms and 9 full baths—perfect set-up to begin with! 30 years of coming with these ladies and this is our favorite beach home so far. Multiple refrigerators, a large icemaker, that covered deck area with sturdy furniture, decent parking—all 5-star worthy. The only complaint—-where is the glassware??? We had some coffee mugs, a few juice glasses, and a couple wine glasses and martini glasses. For a home this large??? We actually went to the dollar store and bought some glassware to use. That was puzzling. Otherwise, a superb 5-star experience.

Another great stay at Ocean Star We had another outstanding stay at Ocean Star. Great location and great house. Has all the amenities needed. The kids enjoyed the movie room and of course the heated pool. Mornings spent on the beach with Resort Realty supplied chairs and umbrellas. Maintenance was quick to respond and help with a dryer issue. Already booked next years stay.

Nor'easter Unfortunately we were there when a nor’easter rolled in. We couldn’t enjoy the beach much, but we were able to enjoy the beautiful pool. The pool area had excellent lounge chairs and chairs around it. The house was bedroom theater room and game area was excellent. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The large TV’s throughout the house were amazing. Plenty of room in this spacious house. Very nice furnishings throughout the house. Then cons of the house not many but, the dishwashers weren’t working properly. All the nonstick pans need replaced. Not enough glassware we had to go buy solo cups. Not enough coffee cups for the people in the house. One of the nicer houses we rented in the outer banks.

Excellent Wonderful home in a great location!

Excellent We loved everything about the Ocean Star. Walking distance to ice cream and grocery store. House has everything you could want and need. Super Clean. We will rent this home again for next year.

Beautiful home and location!

Honestly, everything was perfect Ocean star was exactly what our big group with kids was looking for. Perfect pool for bigs and littles, and proximity to the beach was exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of hangout space and the amenities made a nice difference, specifically the movie room, outdoor showers, bunk bed room, hot tub, and ice maker. We had one issue which was a non-draining tub that was rectified in 24hrs.

Very Good Ocean Star was a wonderful home with great views and location. Our group had a few comments about the amenities of the home. One being a lack of kitchen supplies, and quality of those available. For example, we were looking for bowls to mix food, Tupperware style bowls, and the sharp knives were awful! We had a group of 16 people staying in the home, and cooked at the house everyday, these items would have been great. We also ran out of propane for our grill after day 1 of cooking. Suggesting having one extra available at the home. Some extras that would have been nice but not necessary would be, a TV outside in the lounge area and a toilet. The children when wet, had to run into the downstairs bathroom often.

GREAT STAY at Ocean Star We travel to the OBX every year and always in a different house/location. We have already booked next year at Ocean Star to return as we loved it. The house was clean and provided everything we needed. Great pool with shallow kids end (which was used daily). Beach location was perfect. Views from the 3rd floor are simply amazing. Plenty of refrigerator space and ample vacuums. Two sets of washer/dryer came in handy as well. Our "chef" loved the kitchen layout and there are plenty of areas to sit and reflect over a cup of coffee (or a Duck Donut). Beds were comfortable and each bedroom had all the necessary stuff. This will be the first resort house that we were impressed enough to book a return trip next year. Kudos to the owners and Resort Realty.

Very Good Overall, very pleased with the unit. First time we booked in June instead of August. The sofas in the main room had been replaced since last year and ALL of the TV's and movie room projector worked! The kitchen garbage "slider" was broken and could not be used and the largest burner on the stove top did not work. This was reported but not corrected while we were there. Also, the freezer in the kitchen was very difficult to pull open. We noted this last year. Pool and hot tub were in great shape.

Very Good Perfect location. It was clean , had almost everything you needed. Plenty of room for everyone. Can’t wait to go back again

Beautiful Home by the Sea We loved the home. Location and amenities were wonderful. I do need to say that there were a number of things in need of attention or repair ( or replacement) that were mildly annoying. However the team at Resort Realty were very quick to attend to them and because of that I can say I will definitely be back again and will specifically look for a property managed by Resort Realty. Amazing and friendly!

Amazing house with TONS of amenities !! Our extended family of 16 people had an amazing time at Ocean Star. The house is great with tons of room for everyone to gather as well as space to spread out. The chair & tent setup at the beach was so handy to come & go all day. We loved the movie theater and the view from all levels of the house were spectacular. We will definitely be back next year !!

Perfect multi family home We had a great time at this home . House is equipped fully for multi families. We especially loved the kitchen area and the open door to the deck overlooking the beach. The king size beds were wonderful oh come with private bathrooms which was so helpful during the Covid season. I would highly recommend this home to multi families that want to spend a wonderful memorable week at the beach together. We paid extra to have the pool heated as our trip was in September and it was beautiful for us.
