Great House for big Families We enjoyed our stay at Wench&rsquo;s Pad 2. The house was clean and in good shape. You can tell it is well taken care of. This was the first year we moved off the beach and we thought by paying the roughly same amount of money we would get a better house and we did!! The savings we realized went towards renting amenities like a golf cart! This house has plenty of large bedrooms and bathrooms affording all of our extended family members with plenty of personal space.<br /> <br /> The only negative aspect to this house is the fact there is overnight parking for the Ramada Hotel behind the house. This usually wouldn&rsquo;t be a problem but it&rsquo;s for RV&rsquo;s and trucks. The problem is most of the trucks have refrigeration/freezer cars that are required to be on while the while is parked. This constant loud noise is annoying when trying to enjoy the outside areas of the house. In spite of this we would probably return to this property in the future.

Great stay We had a great stay. We struggled with the internet and contacted the office a few times in the beginning of our stay but ended up giving up when our last call wasn&rsquo;t returned. So that was a bummer. But overall the house was great besides the bunk room being super small you couldn&rsquo;t fit one of the ladders in it. We loved the pool and hot tub and elevator! The house is in a great location and close to public beach access.

Very Good We did enjoy the home. There was a problem with the air conditioning, but it was taken care of quickly. We love the ocean view from the house, and the easy walk to the beach. My husband and I are in our 80s so having a elevator was great. This was the 2nd Thanksgiving we&quot;ve been at this house, what a wonderful week!

First class stay at the Beach Wow! What a nice place. Plenty of room for everyone, stylings are current, lots of kitchen space with the added kitchen on the first floor. Everyone enjoyed having their own suit. Great location with lots to do, but on a quiet street. Thanks for helping make our family vacation memorable. See you again!

Great location for large groups We have been coming to OBX for most of the last 25 years and have stayed in a lot of houses with large groups (25 or more people) and this may have been the best house/layout we've stayed in. With a wider layout and 4 floors (rather than 3 as we've normally had), this home felt more spacious even though our group has gotten larger. Additionally, the bedrooms were by and large quieter than other homes we stayed in and as a result we found it to be a home where we could gather in large groups, but also find isolated rest and relaxation when needed. Despite not being right on the sand, the public beach access was easy and we had great views of the ocean with no large structures on the beach side blocking our views. The one complaint that we did have was that the hotel across the sleep had an auxiliary parking lot right next to the house for large vehicles and trailers and 2 of the 6 nights we stayed here 3 different tractor trailers hauling refrigerated goods were parked outside and left their compressors on overnight while the drivers slept in the hotel across the street. I don't know that this would have been a deal breaker for us, but it would have been nice to know this was a possibility before we rented it so that we could have decided, and at the very least we probably would have made some different choices in terms of which guests got which rooms.

Excellent Wench's Pad 2 was perfect for our family. The house is well equipped and well furnished. There was nothing it lacked. The proximity to the beach was great. I have no negative comments.

Good We had a wonderful time&hellip;house was great with an abundance of kitchen supplies and beds to fit our large family. ( 22 in all ) Pool was perfect and beach just a very short walk over the dune stairway. The couple of issues we had were addressed next day by a friendly maintenance worker. Memorable beach week mansion getaway Stayed here June 2023 with 8 families (25 people). Massive house with room for everyone and spaces to get away if you needed it. Very well-equipped with dishes/pots/pans/appliances, double and triple of major appliances and washer dryers which was convenient. Pool and hot tub were used way more than the beach so a great perk also. Little appliances did not work (hand mixer, blender), but all large appliances kept up with big meals. All beds comfortable, new and modern decor, movie theater room a huge hit with kids. Would stay again in a heartbeat if I ever needed a huge group vacation again!

Had a wonderful time at this property! The house was HUGE and it accommodated all us us very well. It was very clean upon check in. Nice beach access too.

Excellent!!!!

Beautiful home that suited our needs perfectly. We came together to celebrate 11 years of being cancer free. The house allowed each couple to have their own room with there own bathroom. The house is well equipped with the exception of a cutting board, a mop, and some kitchen towels. Everything else that you could want or need was in the house.

The vacation place ever!!! My family and I had the best time at this house!!!!! If we&rsquo;re ever in Red Devil Hills area again we would stay there. The house was excellent and beautiful!!!! Our vacation was so much fun. But the up keep and all around of the house in one word would be EXCELLENT!!!! Thanks for everything and hopefully more vacations in the future.

Jackson Family 2022 We loved the house and the location. Everything was very nice. The only thought is to add Teflon frying pans. Eggs are difficult to cook in stainless steel. Also, for our large family we always needed more forks. We loved the art work and the decor in general. Lots of memories were made.

2022 vacation Loved the house! We were 24 people and everyone has plenty of &ldquo;space&rdquo;. Kitchen was a little unorganized but there were plenty of pots, pans and dishes. We had a great time and already rented it for next year!!! Resort Realty is responsive to calls and service. We&rsquo;ve been renting through them for years!

Good Wench's pad was a beautiful home just a few feet from the beach. Our family enjoyed walks on the beach, the sauna and the hot tub. Would have loved to have the pool available. We did have an issue with the grill not working, but luckily our family had rented another home across the street and we used their grill

Very nice Beach Home Wrench&rsquo;s Pad 2 was a very nice home to stay at with our family and friends we would definitely stay in this unit again in the future. It&rsquo;s close to the beach access and had everything that you could asked for

Excellent Great house! This was the first house we have stayed in that had comfortable beds to sleep in.

Quarantine Escape After almost four months of quarantine we were crazy excited to be together on vacation. This beautiful home fulfilled all of our desires for fun, togetherness, personal space and luxury. 27 of us lived very comfortably in this fully equipped home. The proximity to the beach allowed us to go back and forth to the beach all day long. We took turns cooking in the big well-equipped kitchen and then all dined at the massive table and island. We made sure to enjoy all of the amenities....hot tub, pool, video games, movie theater and so much more!
