Excellent Great place to stay for a couple or small family. The view from the house was amazing.

Amazing views!! Perfect for a small family vacation stay. Great location for access to various attractions around the Outer Banks. It would have been nice to have easier access to the sound for the kayaks rather than just a ladder but not a big issue. Overall, this was a great house with waterfront views. Would definitely stay again!

Great getaway!!!! First time visit to OBX and really enjoyed the stay. Will definitely be back!

Excellent Great Home.

Perfect relaxing getaway It was the perfect getaway. Even in the off season it was everything we could ask for. The house was very very clean and updated. Plenty of space and the views were breathtaking. It was away from the touristy areas but close enough to enjoy them. We spent more time in the house then our and about just enjoying the home. Check in and out was very easy. We hope to be back soon!

Great Fall Getaway This little house was quite the surprise. After staying in the Outer Banks for the last 30 years from Hatteras to Corolla we never knew about Colington Harbor. That said if you are looking for a mountain setting on the sound this is your place to be. The house was small but cozy, loved the fireplace in the living room. It was exceptionally clean and well taken care of. Also if working the internet was great. There are some things I would change, not many but just for comfort sake more than anything. The house lists for 6 people. There are only 4 chairs to sit at on the island and no dining table nor room for one. The living room only has one sofa and that is for 3 people. Luckily for us there were only 3 but the thought of bringing our granddaughters along would be a no in this house. The only other thing I would change is to add some hooks on the back of the bathroom doors. Only one towel rack and with more than 2 people there is no wear to put your clothes or to hang another towel if needed. Since the house is new to the rental scene all of this could just be a product in the making and will be updated in the future. As much as we loved the setting the house was a little to small for more than 3 but if it were just my husband and myself I would definitely rent it again.
