Going to Carolina We had a wonderful week staying at Going to Carolina! You really can&rsquo;t beat the location and being right on the ocean. We enjoyed the beautiful views and had a great time making memories here.<br /> The home is an older property and could use a little updating and TLC in some areas. A few things we noticed were that the range hood didn&rsquo;t work, and while the vacuum did work, we had to bungee cord the canister on to keep it together. The deck railings could also use some attention. It looked like the pool may have had a heater at one time as well.<br /> None of these things kept us from having a great vacation, and we truly enjoyed our stay. With a little updating and some maintenance, this property could be even better.

Beautiful view For the most part the house is wonderful. The view and access to the ocean were awesome. The house is huge and the bedrooms are a good size. Most of the rooms are big enough to have a pack and play on without feeling cramped. The beds are all very comfortable and it was great that each room had a bathroom. One bathroom is a Jack and Jill set up and it worked perfectly. There are a few issues however. The lowest level was very warm. Unfortunately, we could not find a thermostat for that floor and the ceiling fan in the middle bedroom made a very loud thumping noise when it was on. The fan in the 2nd floor daybed room had the same issue. I would recommend bringing your own fans for those 2 rooms.The leather couch in the living room is very uncomfortable. But if you use one of the accent pillows to sit on, it was much better. The dining room tables have lost their coating and are very sticky. I suggest bringing a few table clothes to remedy that issue. There was a gas grill on the lower patio by the pool. This was a welcomed sight since we&rsquo;re weren&rsquo;t very good at making a charcoal fire. Others than the few minor issues, the house is a perfect place for large gatherings. I would recommend this house and would definitely rent it again.<br /> The staff at Resort Realty made everything so easy for us. They were very helpful and answered all of my questions leading up to our stay. They were able to have the house ready for us to enter by 4:30. When we arrived, the house was spotless, the beds were made and everyone had fresh linens wrapped up on their beds. I did not contact them about the fan issue because it was not brought to my attention during our stay. But I have a feeling they would have helped out if they knew. Thank you Resort Realty staff for helping us make wonderful life long memories in this house.

Very Good It&rsquo;s a very nice home. Just a little dated and could use some sprucing up.

Going to Carolina review Going to Carolina is a wonderful house in a great location. We had a wonderful vacation. With just a few updates, this house could go from good to excellent quickly. The couches in the living room are literally falling apart. There are actual holes in the pleather. It is time to update the couches and perhaps add a high back chair or two.<br /> The bedspreads are in need of replacement. They are frayed and worn. Such an easy fix to make a huge difference!<br /> Please replace the daybed with an actual bed. Even if you want to separate the twins to make this an actual room.<br /> We would come back with just these few updates!!

Barry &quot;Going to Carolina&quot; was First Class. We had our family reunion there and everyone had a great time. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at the house and the host was very responsive to a few things that came up during the week! Would love to come back in the future!
