Great week! We enjoyed so many things about Sandy Paws. Our family enjoyed the pool, hot tub and easy walk to the beach. House is a bit dated but has such good bones! Loved the 4 king suites!! The new deck floor was great as well as the gates for the dogs and babies in the family. The house was cleaned pretty well also. I think the property does need a good going over. Lots of weeds in the beautiful outdoor living space and the kitchen needs to have silverware checked in a regular basis (No spoons other than serving) as well as making sure things are re-organized after guest departure. But overall - a great house!

We stayed at Sandy Paws for a family vacation with a dog and the property was excellent! Very clean, roomy, and the outdoor area was a lot of fun! We would definitely stay here again.

Great host that was responsive. We enjoyed the amenities, perfect location, and laid back atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a relaxing vacation.

Good Home was dated, but very clean. Great location. Well furnished inside an out. Fenced and gated yard and decks were great for our dog.

Sandy Paws- Beautiful family vacation rental in OBX!! Beautiful spacious family vacation home. Awesome OBX location - great ocean views to take in . Swimming pool, spa, fire pit, etc. was great - it has all you need for a stay in OBX. A must see!!

Sandy Paws unit 5220 We had a wonderful stay at Sandy Paws! The outdoor area: the deck, pool, hot tub, fire pit, and game area was amazing! We spent a lot of time out there! I loved having 4 king master bedrooms...you would be amazed at how hard it is to find a house without at least one bunkroom! The upstairs was so nice and all the beds were comfy! The living room furniture was comfy but probably should be replaced before next season. The master bedroom downstairs closest to the pool was HOT. We called maintenance but they said it was on the southwest corner of the house and needed to have blackout curtains...we had to keep the door to the room open and have a fan in the doorway to help pull in cool air from the living room, but it got surprisingly HOT in there ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT, which made no sense! In spite of that, honestly, I would totally stay in this home again next year if the air in that room could get fixed. This house checked all the boxes for what I needed with 5 adults and a dog. Thankfully the game room upstairs was cool and had two recliners and a full bathroom so my adult children did a lot of sleeping up there. (Really, a good solution might be to switch the upstairs game room with the downstairs bedroom.) Overall, we had a great week with lovely weather and we were sad to leave on Sunday!

Sandy Paws House has a great layout. Easy walk to the public beach access. Goombays also close by with excellent food. Outdoor amenities are very nice: pool, tiki bar, fire pit, corn hole, and dog run area. We would definitely stay there again.

A great time at the beach This rental was a lovely home that had much to offer. It lacked in some areas but a little thought and TLC would make it great. Everything was close and convenient. We will come back again.
