Sept 2026 -nice pool area! Pros: excellent pool /hot tub area.-we hung out here a lot! Very Clean comfortable rooms. Ground level room has great wetbar/refrigerator-easy access to pool. Kitchen fairly stocked. Very walkable to beach or 30 second drive to beach access parking if needed. Pet friendly. Plenty of Beach /pool items if needed in storage. Nice quiet safe street-can hear and feel the ocean breezes. Close to everything!<br /> Cons: decking/outside stairs are quite worn. Inside stairs seem steep/no carpet anywhere. Some bigger area rugs upstairs would be welcomed especially. if sleeping on ground level bdrms due to foot noise. Note:there is a fenced area behind the pool but not useable/kept up -do not even think about letting your pet in there! To be fair-it&rsquo;s not advertised but it shows in the pictures. Too bad-would be a handy pet area if maintained.<br /> <br /> All in all - we had a fantastic stay here and ck in/out was super easy and as advertised.

Comfortable and well stocked house The house was clean and ready a few minutes early upon arrival. Resort Realty is very easy to work with. We had plenty of room, the pool area was larger than most and we were able to bring our dog. The walk to the beach is very easy. (I sent a separate message about the storm affecting one of the patio umbrellas)

Great house in a great location House was well equipped and well cleaned on arrival. You can tell they renovated the house and that they did an excellent job in doing so! The hot tub and pool were in great condition and clean as well. You can tell the owner put special thought into each room when decorating. The house is in an awesome location and secluded from heavy traffic. Besides that, the only issues we had were with the freezer not getting cold enough on the default setting, some of the screen doors are backwards, the decking looks like it might be ready for some TLC (as is with tradition in the OBX), the top step in the living room isn&rsquo;t great for kids, and the TVs were a little hard to get figured out. Outside of those minor issues, it was a great house for our vacation.

Excellent We had a wonderful time at A Little Bit of Sunshine. The home was lovely and we would definitely stay there again. The only 2 suggestions that we have is for the price that we did pay, we would have liked to have an umbrella in the pool area instead of having to rent one if we wanted it. The umbrella would have helped provide a little shade during the day when it is full sun. The other suggestion is if you could have a few dish towels available for use in the home. It is hard to wash dishes by hand and not have some dish towels for drying. Otherwise, it was a perfect vacation!

Fantastic home Great location a block from beach with easy walk, on cul-de-sac, around 6.5 mile post. House is very well equipped in kitchen with dishes, glassware and eating utensils. House also has kid stools for bathrooms and kitchen. There are portable pack and plays for small children and a crate for the family dog with dog bed. The beds are comfortable and the house is very clean with a spacious feeling. I have stayed here before with other friends and all raved about the house.

Lil Bit of Sunshine Well equipped kitchen. Lots of room for the family. Lots of steps. Great pool.

A Gem Spacious house in great location. It&rsquo;s around the 6 mile post, 1 1/2 blocks from ocean, on a cul-de-sac so no through traffic. Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dinnerware, silverware, mugs and glasses. There is even a faucet next to the sink for filtered water. No buying water bottles or containers. Beds are comfortable. Would definitely return.
