Great value for the money The house was very spacious...8 MBR were awesome!! The house does need some upgrading...new dishwasher..kitchen faucets...beds were comfortable...pool was nice size. Location was great...close to beach access and alot of things to do.
The kitchen was extremely well outfitted. I am a chef and I brought along the things I thought would be necessary to cook for a large family, but only needed to use a couple items, as everything else was already in the kitchen! We loved the rooms and the layouts. It was really nice to have the extra living areas with kitchenettes for my daughter’s young family. The boys LOVED the nugget couch! The yard was really well laid out. Excellent lawns too! We had a great time with our yard games. Our dogs felt right at home too! We loved it so much that we have already held a spot for next year!
Captain's Choice is a great house! Captain’s Choice is a great house! Very roomy bedrooms with a bathroom for each! There is a close beach access that is easy to walk to across the street! This house has great yards to do many fun activities! We had a problem with the main kitchen fridge and the realtor and owner were great, they responded quickly and actually replaced the fridge within a day! Love this house! Susie
Easy check in. Kitchen had a large selection of pots, pans, and dishes. Very close to the ocean, sites, and stores! Nice pool and hot tub. Would have been nice to have a backyard fire pit.
Very Good We have rented this home many times and we love it. We noticed a few things that Needs to be addressed. The ice maker upstairs quit working Friday evening and started thawing and leaking water. The upstairs air conditioner was whistling,probably needs filters changed and lastly, light bulbs outside need to be replaced.
Awesome Home We have been to the Outer Banks for almost 20 years and this home is one of the best!! Every bedroom is spacious, plenty of bathrooms, the top floor is fabulous, and we loved the big yard and the pool!! Thank you for letting us stay in your home!
One of our favorites!! This house checked all the boxes so to speak. Plenty of room, well furnished, and functional. The pictures don't do the bedrooms justice, very spacious. Walk to the beach was very reasonable.
Perfect for a big Family Vacation Our family is really big so we have 10 adults and 11 kids all staying and I loved the fact that each bedroom has a bathroom and each room is set up to accommodate different needs. Like if you need room for a blow up mattress or if you want a spa tub instead. There are 4 floors so it gives everyone a little space. Loved the big kitchen with all the seating so we could all eat together. The walk to the beach was all of 2 minutes, super short and no issue walking with all of the kids. Just get out there early so you can set up a close spot on the beach. Overall, the place was amazing and we would definitely go back again! Also, the pool table, the hot tub and pool were a huge hit!
Best chapter yet Six years of sand, sun, and tradition — but this house gave us our best chapter yet. The memories made here will echo louder than the waves!
Great OBX Getaway! Quick trip to OBX for spring break. House was great! Plenty big, views of the ocean, and a huge side yard. Conveniently located to shops/restaurants/stores.
Enjoy our time there Loved the house, would come back. I am a south nags head lover, due to less activity area, like staying away from hotels, condos, shopping, etc. But this house was worth staying in area, beach access no. Kitchen was well equipped, bedrooms excellent, a very comfortable, clean house

Space, space, and more space!! For any family who needs space to spread out, this is the house for you! From adequate parking to the large bedrooms, to the ample dining space, to the amazing yard, complete with fire pit! Captain's Choice has it all; and with close, easy beach access, and close proximity to groceries as well as a number of area restaurants! This home was a great choice for all three generations of our family!
