Beautiful house The house is beautifully decorated and very well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. The house was very clean and comfortable. The pool was amazing!! Having an elevator was convenient for groceries and luggage. The couch cushions had some stains from previous visitors and Some of the plastic pool furniture was not usable due to large cracks and broken parts. Other than that it was perfect. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Visit to Kemp's Ridley Retreat We've rented homes at OBX for years, and this one is right at the top in terms of amenities, design & decor, cleanliness, etc. The smaller size, still with all the items offered such as pool, decks with top notch furniture, kitchen with all needed equipment was great. Often, rental homes outdoors are not as clean on decks, yard, entrance, but this was very clean! The only suggestion is that you offer a step stool to get into the one very high bed. Thanks.

Family Reunion This is a beautiful home in a gated community and was perfect for our family gathering. We are 3 Senior brothers and wives, so 3 king masters was perfect for us. The elevator was essential as one brother uses a rollator. The house is well designed with several sitting areas, spacious decks, a lovely pool, the kitchen was well stocked, and the furnishings are first class. The walkers enjoyed the nearby walking trail along the sound and it was just a short drive to the beach access. The location in Kitty Hawk was great and not as busy as further south on the OBX.

Just Perfect Could not want for more at Kemp’s Ridley Retreat. I was in need of a relaxing vacation and Kemp’s totally delivered. Such a thoughtfully appointed house with a beautiful view of the sound. Was fortunate enough to have spectacular OBX weather so we spent most every day relaxing by the pool and the evenings enjoying the sunset from the front deck. Granted, most OBX vacations I spend at the beach but Kemp’s Ridley Retreat is so perfect, I didn’t want to leave!!

Excellent Fabulous! Five star! If you're looking for a place to stay in the Outer Banks, you just found it. Completely up to date, very clean, great amenities including a large pool, a fantastic hot tub, elevator, beautiful decks where you can see a water view from the top deck. Beautiful private gated community, very peaceful, bike trail on the water, carports, new construction, close to the beach, close to everything, worth the money, just book it now and thank me later.

Great house! My family just spent a week here and we had a wonderful time. The home is beautifully decorated and still is family friendly. Kitchen was well equipped. The pool was a big hit with all, but especially my 4 yr old granddaughter. I absolutely loved the two sitting areas and all of the decks and great deck furniture. Very close to the beach and walkable to the sound. Loved everything about our stay. We absolutely would rent here again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

OBX sound side This house is amazing. Maybe one of the nicest I’ve rented. Thoughtfully constructed and impeccably decorated. Adding extra blankets and beach chairs would be a huge plus!!

Felt like a luxury resort No detail was overlooked when they made this house. Well styled and built. The elevator was a life saver when bringing luggage or groceries up. Heated spa was well kept and perfect on a cold night. We stayed the last week of the year and found things to do every day. A hidden gem I found during my morning walk is the community path that goes to a dock just a block away. Great place to have coffee and relax. The gated community also made me feel safe early in the am or late at night. Shiralee and Gigi were very helpful with my questions throughout the whole experience. I would easily stay here again.

Awesome Vacation Rental 10/26/2020 This home does not disappoint! Everything from the decor/furnishings to the beautiful neighborhood made this home very enjoyable. The location was perfect for us. It was centrally located since we were visiting the northern outer banks to Carova and the southern outer banks to Ocracoke and everywhere in between. I highly recommend this home to anyone coming to this area and would love to stay in it again. We were very sad to leave it! Sherry
