Home away from home Beautiful home<br /> When we first arrived it felt like home<br /> Very comfortable and great amenities.<br /> <br /> Only thing that needs to be checked is dryer. Doesn't dry clothes and leaves a must smell on clothes.<br /> Any chance the 2nd bedroom could have TV added.<br /> <br /> Look forward to going back next year.
Cozy townhome- great location! Townhome had everything we needed and it was in a perfect location. Been coming to OBX for over 25 years and our regular home was booked so we tried Sea Dunes- we were very happy. Place had everything we needed for the week. Comfy furniture and bedding. Very short walk to beach and located right near pool and clubhouse. Loved having the pool and hot tub. We used the pool every day. The clubhouse pictures are out of date. They have two ping pong tables, no air hockey, pool, or video games. Might want to update listing pics. Plenty of room for my husband, my 2 college age sons, and me. Great storage for clothes and kitchen well equipped. There are several beach chairs for use (FYI-no umbrella or sun shade). The only small negative is the dryer. We did an average size load- t-shirts, shorts, underwear and we tried to dry it using high heat. We had to run it three times first for 50 min, and then twice for 30 min before everything was dry. I did a very small load of lights- mainly socks and a few light shirts and shorts and that took twice on 40 min each. Usually I like to do more laundry- esp at the end of the week so we don't have a lot to do once we get home- didn't bother to do that. We did make sure lint trap was clear. Wouldn't stop me from renting again, but something to keep in mind- maybe pass along to owner. Mid-week we got VERY loud neighbors on the one side. Loud music until 1:30 AM. Sea Dunes has quiet hours from 10PM-8AM. No idea who to report it to- didn't have a number for a person at complex. Second night they were quiet, but last night we were there TV blaring until after 1AM. I know there's nothing the owner or realty company can do, but if we stay again I will definitely make sure I know the procedure for reporting the issue to someone.
Sea Dunes Great location and a great condo. Very clean! Only a few minor suggestions: 1. add a TV in the 2nd bedroom 2. Consider improving the interior lighting 3. advertise that beach gear is available
Sea Dunes vacation rental We’ve stayed at Sea Dunes condos many times over the last 25-30 years. Different properties within the condo complex and have always been pleased. The condos are well maintained, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The property as a whole is very well maintained, clubhouse, pool, hot tub & courts and the landscaping, etc are always very nice and staff are friendly and helpful. You can’t beat the location either…short walk to the beach, lifeguards nearby and shopping, restaurants, sights to see are easy to get to. We love OBX and Sea Dunes is perfect when there’s just the two of us or when we have a few more family join us. Nice place for family, couples or groups. Ann & Ralph Walter
Sea Dunes J2 Clean, well maintained & comfortable.
OBX vacation Kids loved the rec center games, pool and hot tub. Gorgeous beach and amazing OBX experience. Watched sea turtles hatch on the beach this year ! We plan to return !
Outer Banks Family Vacation The townhouse was fairly well maintained and the kitchen well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, dishes, coffee mugs, etc. The garage includes a gas grill, beach chairs and we liked having the shower in the garage to rinse off after time at the beach or pool. The location is great with easy access to main Highway and beach. The area was quiet and the view of the ocean from the third floor was a nice bonus. If your expectations are reasonable based on price paid, you shouldn’t be disappointed in the property. The property is somewhat outdated and could use a refresh but with that, likely comes a higher a price to rent. We would come back and stay here again.
Convenient location, nice amenities We really liked staying here. The beach was a short and easy walk, the community pool was really nice as was the basketball court. The townhouse itself was not modern/updated at all, but was cared for. We really enjoyed staying here and would book again. Check in and check out was easy and problem free.
Excellent Time Had an excellent and relaxing time at this property and was able to get a lot of work done.
Great Vacation Location, location and location. We had the greatest view of the ocean and the sunrise. The condo was well stocked with all the things we needed, especially the boogie boards. The only negative thing we could say is; no tv in spare bedroom and the size of the one in other spare bedroom. The best vacation we have ever had. We loved it so much, we have reserved it for next year.
overall very good stay very nice place to stay only thing we dont like is all the stairs to get to beach
