Great property for family! We have stayed here 3 years in a row & rebook as soon as we arrive we love it so much! With two teens, “family” vacations can be challenging, but this property has everything we need to see our kids other than just when they want food: the pool & hot tub are one draw, the pool table & darts are the second thing, the volleyball/badminton net in the sandy yard (yes really!) as well as the plethora of games are huge hits as well. And I doesn’t even mention that the property has a great ocean view (we love catching the sunrise with our coffee), is less than a 5-min walk to beach access - the boys fish almost nightly after dinner; we also love that we can dash down to Wink’s or Art’s Place. Art’s has live music several nights a week which we also enjoy from the deck. My hubs and I have each been coming to OBX since our own childhoods & we vote this property our favorite by far. Salty Dawgs is obviously a dog haven and well equipped for our 5th family member, thoughtful inclusions throughout. We love this place!

It has all kitchen amenities, a game room and even beach chairs and toys! If you are bringing your pup, there are water dishes and dogs beds. My only suggestion, is to ask for more linen or bring some of your own bath towels. Thanks for a great week!

We were all amazed at all the Kitchen items were there when we needed them, including a zester and a potato masher. It was great to have the extra games and sport activities inside and outside as well. The hot tub and pool were nice for those fly infested beach days.

I stayed here with my family, 7 people total. We all had plenty of space and we were amazed with the views. It was about 3 minute walk to the beach. You can see the sunrise and waves from the back deck. Absolutely gorgeous! We’re hoping to book here again.

Our newfound favorite This place is our new favorite! Walking distance to the beach with views from both decks! Love that it is pet-friendly with dog beds & blankets galore! My boys love to challenge each other in darts or a round of pool. Everything is labeled, there is literally not one tool missing in the kitchen, and do read the guide book up in the LR it has tons of useful info. We’ve already pre-reserved for our 3rd year in 2026!

Wonderful home! We absolutely loved our stay at Salty Dawg! The house was perfect for our group and was equipped with everything we needed! Loved having the pool to come back to after a hot beach day and then warm up in the hot tub at night. The house itself is tastefully decorated, set up to accommodate our party of 8 comfortably and very clean. Loved the short walk to the beach and some local eateries! Highly recommend this home!

Trip was amazing. Salty Dawg was fantastic. Everything was a notch above normal. Very tastefully decorated, everything was high quality and stocked beyond anything we could have imagined. The kitchen was stocked the anything you would want or need. The best I've ever seen. Kudos to the owners. The pool and hot tub were awesome, pool /ping pong table, darts and volleyball court were icing the cake. We had a blast! And it was clean and well-cared for. Thank you for great time.

Top Notch! Highly Recommend Salty Dawgs Kitty Hawk Family enjoyed a wonderful holiday at Salty Dawgs. The house is amazing and two minute walk from clean beaches. Care has been taken to make sure everything is in place. The hot tub and pool were very clean as well as the whole property. The private volleyball court was also a smash. We will be back.

All went well The location was amazing, all the amenities, and the volleyball court was so much fun for the kids. Everything was very neat and clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Best Outer Bank's Rental I've Ever Rented Two-minute walk to the beach entrance, 19-minute drive to the Sound, and amazingly clean house. Fully and I mean fully stocked kitchen, three beach chairs, pool cleaned every-other day, pool table, dart board on lower level with additional refrig and bar, nice bath towels in each of the four bedrooms, good wi-fi, seating for 14 at kitchen tables not counting kitchen stools, nice washer and dryer, great air-conditioning, ten minutes to grocery stores. Loved it!

Excellent We were very impressed with the house! The kitchen was so well stocked quality pots and pans and dishes...with everything you need. It would be nice to add some shade/ umbrella by the pool and on the upper deck. A bathroom near the pool would be convenient. We really enjoyed our stay!

Excellent Fabulous house and relaxing vacation

Good We loved that the house offered dogs. We appreciated the little accents like dog beds and dog blankets for the couch. Carpets looked very well kept and brand new. The only negative comment I have is that the gate to the pool needs some work. The screws were out of the hinge and it drags on the floor making it hard to open and close.

Great location & home Salty Dawgs is in a great location, on a quiet street, yet convenient to the beach; restaurants and grocery stores. The home has every amenity you could ask for! We enjoyed time by the pool and relaxing on the deck. Great home!

Wonderful!! This was the perfect beach home for our family! All of the furnishings were immaculate and comfortable. Very short walk to the beach, and it was really nice to sit on the awesome deck furniture and see the ocean perfectly. We would love to come back in the future. Thank you for a memorable week!!

Excellent Loved all the updates to the rental. The back yard makes it so easy to take care of the dogs. Loved the new mattresses in the 2 master suites and I saw the note where the other mattresses will be replaced soon. Great job to the new owners!

Very Good We enjoyed our stay at Shorely Amazing. The location of the house was very convenient. The beach was only a block away, so there was no need to drive. The pool and the hot tub were great additions to the house, and the house was pet friendly. What more can you ask for!

Great location in OBX Shorely Amazing is centrally located in Kitty Hawk, convenient to many points of interest in OBX. It's located on a road parallel to the highways but is still has easy access to the beach. The pool is a bit undersized for the house size, as 8 people will quickly fill the pool. Great views of the ocean, and Art's Place is a short walk away for a great breakfast. Nighttime music from Art's Place could be a distraction on some nights. Overall a great week, and we'd stay here again!

A lovely place Shorely Amazing was a terrific vacation home. Our 9 year old grandson loved the ping pong and billiards. We all loved the pool and hot tub! The home was very comfortable well laid out and nicely decorated. The walk to the beach was not bad at al even carrying chairs and other each needs. We are so grateful that we could bring our dog. We all really had a great time! Thank you!

Beautiful!! This was my first vacation and it was made so much better with this house. It's perfect for a big group or just a couple people, the hot tub had a beautiful view of the ocean and so did all the balconies. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to go on vacation to North Carolina.

Most Wonderful Vacation Home This was the most wonderful vacation home. It had EVERYTING u could ever ask for and more! Steps to the ocean, very clean and they welcomed our dogs. The company was a dream to work with.. so friendly and helpful! we plan to return next year and stay again.
